The GMC Sierra 3500HD years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

Higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they give you more inventory to compare, more trim and configuration choices, and more chances to find a truck that fits your budget and equipment needs. They also tend to be easier to shop quickly because there are more listings in the market at once.

What is the GMC Sierra 3500HD's resale value?

Most model years in the Sierra 3500HD lineup are down year over year, which is helpful if you're shopping used and want to catch a softer market. The largest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older years are changing more slowly. That mix gives you several places to shop for value depending on how new you want your truck to be.

The 2016, 2019, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used GMC Sierra 3500HD now or wait for the next model?
