What should I look for when buying a used Ford Bronco?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: The Outer Banks trim with the Lux Package adds blind-spot monitors, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, a surround-view camera system, and an upgraded Bang & Olufsen audio system.
• Infotainment: Sync 4 with a 12-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Which Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2026 Ford Bronco offers these trims:

• Base: The entry trim brings standard 4WD, the 300-horsepower 2.3-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen, Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard G.O.A.T. modes.
• Big Bend: A strong value choice that adds access to the Lux Package starting point, plus the broader comfort and tech upgrades that make the Bronco easier to live with.
• Badlands: The off-road-focused choice that adds the two-door option and higher-level trail hardware and drive modes.
• Heritage Edition: A distinctive trim that pairs the base engine with manual transmission availability and a retro-inspired character.
• Outer Banks: The best-value trim, with heated front seats, rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
• Raptor: The most extreme off-road model, with 37-inch tires, Fox suspension, heavy-duty protection, and a unique interior.

What Ford Bronco do most buyers choose?

The Ford Bronco years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

Higher-volume model years tend to draw more shoppers because they usually offer a wider mix of trims, prices, and equipment choices. They also give you a better chance of finding the configuration you want without stretching your budget.

What is the Ford Bronco's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the Bronco lineup, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. The largest drops are in the newer model years, while the older years have smaller declines. That pattern suggests recent Broncos are adjusting more quickly, creating better opportunities for buyers who want newer features at a lower price.

The 2022, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Ford Bronco safe?

• Powertrain/efficiency: Four-wheel drive is standard, and the lineup pairs a 300-horsepower 2.3-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with a 330-horsepower 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6.
• Tech: Sync 4, a 12-inch infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 4G modem are part of the latest setup.
• Safety: The latest model adds automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, dynamic brake support, and a rearview camera with backup assist grid lines.
• Starting price: The base trim starts at $43,290.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
