What should I look for when buying a used Chevrolet Equinox EV?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Super Cruise automated hands-free highway driving system, along with the surround-view camera system and rear pedestrian alerts on the available Active Safety Package 2.
• Infotainment: the 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in and smartphone-friendly app support.
• Battery health: check battery state-of-health, review how the vehicle has been charged over time, and confirm remaining battery warranty coverage before you buy.

Which Chevrolet Equinox EV trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV offers these trims:

• LT: The entry trim is the value play, with the economical starting point for the lineup and the core comfort-and-range formula that makes the Equinox EV appealing.
• RS: This is the sportier choice, adding larger wheels, blacked-out styling elements, red interior accents, and added convenience and safety packages.

What Chevrolet Equinox EV do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Equinox EV years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2026.

Higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they usually give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right color, trim, and price. They also tend to be the years most buyers recognize first when shopping used.

What is the Chevrolet Equinox EV's resale value?

Prices are moving down for both model years, which is good news if you want a used Equinox EV at a lower entry point. The larger drop on one model year shows that some recent inventory has softened more quickly than others, while the other has declined by a smaller amount. The 2025 and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Chevrolet Equinox EV safe?

• 2025: 8/10
• 2024: 8/10

All Equinox models come with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with steering intervention, and automatic high beams.

For the safest used buy, the 2024 and 2025 models both post the highest confirmed score of 8/10.
