I had been looking at Cadillac but decided to look at the Buick Envista! Chose the Envista because it drove nicer at a much more reasonable price!

The features and the value is nice. It would be nicer if there were vents in the back of the car and dual air control mode. It saddens me that my 5 yo is suffering longer than I am to cool off. It breaks my heart. I absolutely hate the backup camera. When you backup at night, the camera isn’t clear AT ALL! It’s terrible. I have never seen anything like it and I’ve compared it to other vehicles. You’d think since this is a brand new vehicle the backup camera would be crystal clear when compared to older vehicles. When I back up I can’t use the camera. I have to back up the “old fashioned” way. GMC really needs to fix this issue like yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s just my Envista or all Envistas but it’s definitely a problem. It only happens at night but that would’ve prevented me from purchasing one if I had seen that. Other models I liked was the Sport model. That model was fabulous! Just a little bit above my spending range. It had more of the features that I do like but I’m just not sure about the backup camera because it was daylight. I do like my car. She’s still looks sporty without being the sports model and she’s pretty. Definitely next generation for Buick! I receive a lot of compliments and a lot of people often stare at me while I’m driving. If I can get my backup camera fixed I will be a satisfied and happy customer with my vehicle.

Like many brands, crossover SUVs are now Buick's stock and trade. The venerable General Motors division now exclusively sells crossovers, in fact. And for the 2024 model year, there's a new name in the lineup.
The 2024 Buick Envista is the company's new entry-level model, replacing the Buick Encore and slotting below the Buick Encore GX (which confusingly keeps that name despite there no longer being a standard Encore). This new model launches in three guises. The Envista Preferred is the base model, the Sport Touring (ST) adds sporty styling touches, and the Avenir is the range topper. We sampled an Envista ST in Ann Arbor, Michigan on some of the same roads GM engineers used to tune this new addition to the Buick lineup.
