I saw 4 cars on line and called to see if they were available. I was told on Saturday they were. I told the lady I was driving 3 miles on Sunday to view them would they be there? I was told yes. The cars were not there. I called and was told they have a second lot that is shut down and they were probably there. Someone was to call me about this. No call was made. I belivee these were posted to be a door buster to get people in so they can push a newer car that will have to be financed. Not good business at all plus my time waisted.

The clear coat was peeling, the dash was cracked, and the pictures they placed online didn’t reveal any of this. Wasted my time, and money going over there.

After driving 45 miles the truck was sitting out front washed off. The bed was covered in dry tar and gravel as well as the tailgate and bumper. Underneath the truck was rusted out. Wheels were marred, flaking and splattered with tar and gravel. The rusted frame was the worse. Pics from web site did not show true condition of vehicle.

The man that replied to my email wasn't very helpful. We drove an hour to look at this truck an be didn't even come out to talk to us he sent another man out, that knew nothing about the truck. Needless to say we didn't buy the truck an will not go back there.

Car was not anything like the pictures showed. The salesman Andrew lied about the condition of the car. Drove two and a half hours to view the vehicle, just to show up to complete junk. Will never use tim short again for potential car purchases.

Generally a pleasant experience---seemed to be in a hurry to sell the car. After I bought it, I found the driver's side rear strut was blown and I incurred $1300 in repair.

Was not satisfied, we talked about the truck and made arrangements to go look talked to the sales man that morning, That evening I called to get final directions and was told everything would be ready, drove hour and half to find out the truck was sold early that morning. On the phone they were wanting to work with you when I got there it was a different story, I got passed back and forth between sales men for a while before I was told the truck was sold then was asked what else can we interest you in.

I spoke with Chris on the phone about a Nissan Murano. We discussed price over the phone. He was easy to negotiate with. My wife and I drove 2 hours to drive the car. He was honest about a small dent in it before we drove up there. He said it was a great driving car, and it was. It only too 20 to 30 minutes to transfer the ownership paperwork. We drove the car 2 hours back home, and we both love it. Chris is a good person to work with. We will send family and friends to him.

I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Tim Short Chevrolet I'm Corbin, KY. I live in Nashville, TN and drove 4 hours each way to buy from Brandon & his manager Marlena. They asked me to text pics of my vehicle & then offered the Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) "Good Value" trade price. I filled out a credit application and they found financing, with a competitive APR, within an hour. Brandon text me 20+ photos and a video of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and was honest about a couple of flaws on the vehicle... no used car is perfect and I really appreciated his honesty. We worked a deal via text/phone and they held the Jeep ($500 down) until I could drive to Eastern Kentucky. We got to the Dealership 20 mins before they closed and, after a test drive, I asked for $500 more on my trade to lower the payment by $10/month... they agreed & we were signing paperwork 2 mins later. The Finance Manager was candid about the cost/value & ROI of aftermarket warranties and Gap Insurance. He rolled the TN Taxes into our loan and transferred my specialty license plate to the new car. I have bought multiple cars out of state and no one has ever calculated and processed our TN Sales Tax in the car deal. Plus, I've had local Dealerships refuse to transfer our license plate because "it's just easier to issue a new one"... Overall, 5 Star, quick, painless, fair, easy to negotiate with Used Car transaction! I used to be a Broker in TN and unless the damn wheels fall off in next 24 hours, this was the absolute best Car Buying Experience of my life!

I was very pleased to purchase this vehicle from Tim Short auto Mall. I drove almost 200 miles to the dealership and was not disappointed. I also went through a time zone and came from a different state. There was absolutely no hassling about the purchase. It was low key and the salesman, Brian, answered every question, and worked numbers with me. In the end I was certain that no other dealer was going to give me e better overall package. I was not in a rush for a vehicle which allowed me to do research and visit other dealerships. Most of whom act like it is a competition to see who "wins". The paperwork was simple and not complex and everything was handled there. When I drove up, the car was out front, Brian was waiting for me, I inspected it, test drove it, discussed the trade, sat down and made the deal. There was never "I can't do that $$." They re-washed the vehicle, changed the oil, and gas it up and had it ready by the time the paperwork was done. It was like going out to dinner, having a nice meal and feeling comfortable about the experience. Well-done, Brian.

Worked out a great deal on trade and price. The financing was ssssslllooowww. I drove a long way and had provided my information in advance yet the financing was delayed almost two hours. It is the second time I worked out a deal with this company but my first time using their finance department. My advice would be to secure your own financing before purchasing a vehicle. I thought Tony and Marshall were great and would definitely give them my business but secure my own financing.

I did not by an automobile but Joshua Mills was very honest and up front with me about the car I was looking at. This was important because I would have been driving over 150 miles to see the car. They replied very quickly. The problem I had is after each round of negotiations they would say this is the lowest we can go. A few days later the truck would be marked down $5-600 less than there "lowest we can go" price. Even after bringing it to their attention they don't want to negotiate. My last contact the CarGurus price was "lowest we can go" price, they wouldn't come down any. It's sad because I really wanted that truck

Frankie the salesman was great he responded to all of our questions quickly and when we told him we was driving over 3 hours to take a look at the car , he said he would have it ready and so he had it service and fill up for us when we arrived, we was so impressed with the car and him we went ahead brought the car home with us to Tennessee.

I traded for a 2014 Audi Q5 with Brian at Tim Short. Brian drives a hard deal, but was fair , prompt, and extremely professional. This dealer has used Inventory that is above average on the typical lot. I have referred them to a friend.

After I made my initial contact I was contacted back by email. We discussed some pricing but unfortunately they were locked into they're out the door pricing. I ultimately found and bought another vehicle (same model) with even more options at a lower price. Other than the pricing the communication was good.

I drove from Virginia to Kentucky (9 hours) to sign paperwork and pick up this truck. When I got there I was greeted by James . Who was helpful initially. After taking it for a test drive and popping the hood to listen to the engine I did not like the way the truck was running. I could hear the engine running from inside the truck. I wanted to listen to more trucks on the lot but James did not have a key to the building so I had to wait for a manager (Ray) to get there with keys. Listened to a few more trucks and decided not to purchase the Denali. James tried to make me feel comfortable with all the warranty details.but I still decided not to purchase and do more research. At that time James' attitude went completely down the drain. He was visually upset that the deal did not go through and stormed off leaving me talking to Ray. He did not say good bye or have a safe trip back to Virginia. NOTHING! He got in his car a left the dealership.Did not explained how I would be refunded the money given or anything. POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was still interesting in having the truck shipped to me once I reviewed a few more details but after the way James ended the transaction that was no longer an option either. I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I WILL NOT RETURN. TOTALLY TURNED OFF AND DISPLEASED!

Vehicle Had a lot of problems, I didn't buy it but I don't blame the dealership they have to sell all the cars no matter the condition but I do blame them for not being more up front about the problems,had they told me I wouldn't have checked out the car. Having said that I did realize all the options that I needed to have in my future vehicle from looking at that vehicle so it wasn't all bad, salesmen were really nice and willing to go the extra mile to sell the vehicle after we looked at that vehicle. (If they would have told me the car had problems I would have given them a 4-5 star).

I messaged them and asked about an accident listed on the Carfax and the gentleman was not sure the details but said someone would contact me. My husband also spoke to him and was told someone would call. 2 days later I called since no one contacted me. Spoke to salesman at the Tim Shortt Corbin location and said I would come look at it. I told him I was 2.5 hrs from there. I had a family member traveling through that area that stopped to make sure it was worth my time and the Highlander was at the other Tim Short Motors location in London. The salesman never told me this. When I got to Tim Short Motors in London to see the vehicle it had been on the lot for approx 6 mths. There was prescription info and other personal items in the glove compartment from a previous owner/driver. There were flat candy bars and trash in the pouch on the back of the drivers seat. The vehicle is listed as a Limited and it is a SE model. The salesman dipped tobacco and spit the entire time we tried to discuss the vehicle. Very frustrating experience.

Dishonest SCAMMERS. They advertised a Toyota Highlander as a Limited. Looking at pictures it wasn't a Limited. Then they tried to tell me it had "all" options of a Limited. Wrong again. I pointed this out during a phone call. The salesman said we'll get that corrected. I said I bet the ad doesn't change. A month later still the same. Classic bait and switch. This is why never trust car salesman.

We appreciate honest feedback.  However, using the word "scammers" seems a bit extreme.  We have over 600 vehicles in our inventory, as you can imagine, having to manually decode each individual vehicle would be nearly impossible.  For that reason, we have software that does this job for us.  Unfortunately, on the rare occasion, this software doesn't always get it exactly correct.  It seems that when this happens, its often times a vehicle that is equipped in a similar fashion as an upgraded package.  While this doesn't make it right, it is the truth.  I apol

Still Shopping haven't purchased yet. Been shopping for a very long time for a specific vehicle in a specific range, I have dealt with A LOT of salesmen, Brandon Hodge was by far the easiest to deal with, straight talking gave me what I asked for, no fluff. Sent additional photos I requested went above and beyond. Tried his hardest to help how he could, the lack of a sale was completely on my end due to budget not his. Highly recommended.

The dealer wasn't interested in negotiating with me on my trade in. They offered an embarrassing trade in value for my truck and would not work with us any on getting us the monthly rate we wanted. I gave them a very reasonable number on what we could afford mostly on a vehicle and they didn't even offer to reach out to us when several other Dodge dealers around did.

Very poor service! The only thing we are satisfied with was getting the vehicle from one dealership to the other. The salesman knew nothing about all of the problems wrong with the vehicle, we live an hour away & drove there for a piece of junk. I wish I could give no stars!

The sales person emailed several times and I was interested in the car. I told him that my son worked in Corbin and would stop by and look at the vehicle. When my son stopped the vehicle was not on the lot. I contacted the sales person and he said the vehicle had been loaned out to someone. What a bummer.....................

The sales men are very deceitful, they lie and cheat you. When you question them about a very low ball value of your trade, even when you tell them about the Kelly Blue Book value they all but call you a liar. I would never go back to tem for anything. Be Smart don't go there

The guys at the dealership were nice. However, I was told the vehicle was a non-smokers vehicle and a local lease return by my salesman. I drove 2.5 hours to get to the dealership. When I got to the lot, the vehicle reeked of smoke and had an Enterprise rental car agents biz card in the glove box. The finance mgr went outside to negotiate an ATV deal while I was sitting there trying to talk about the vehicle. It wasn't detailed, missing a floor mat, and Tim Short only offered a $100 check to get the smoke smell out of the car. This service costs $300 to $400 at most detail shops. Vehicle is nice, but the start to finish process/service leaves much to be desired. I traded in a nice truck for this vehicle and if I wasn't under the gun to get something I would probably have continued shopping.

My salesman name was Daren and he was 100% straight with me from the beginning. Not many people will tell you what the Dealer has in profit on a vehicle in Stock. He did that and got me a very fair deal saving me money on the already below market value on my used vehicle. I would recommend talking to him if your looking for a vehicle. Professional, The delivery offer Jamie made was like the fancy icing on a wedding cake I did have to challenge Jamie on interest rate but all was good! The Venza was delivered by a very nice couple. I'd never driven a Venza, Kenutcky is over 400 miles from my house, I just knew I wanted that car, it was as simple as ordering from Amazon I added the Venza to my cart and it was delivered within 24 hours!! All done on line, great experience. I received a thank you card in the mail from Jamie which was very nice!

Great experience. This morning I spoke with Darrell Helton at the Manchester dealership concerning a vehicle they had for sale. He answered all my questions and agreed to not sell it until I had a chance to see it. My wife and I drove more than 2 hrs and test drove the vehicle. Everything Darrell had told me was accurate. Darrell had it detailed and we now own it. It was refreshing to deal with someone that is obviously a believing and practicing Christian. The next vehicle that my wife and I buy will be (Lord willing) from Darrell no matter which dealership he works for.

Worse than terrible!! I live in Knoxville, drove up to Corbin, KY to test drive the vehicle. A week later, I called to negotiate a deal, which was agreed upon - the price for the new car and the trade in value on my car. The next morning I received the deal sheet and it didn't reflect my trade in or a value. When I called to ask them to revise, I was told that they had decided that my trade was not worth what they had said!?!?!?!?! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

Bought a very nice vehicle visually. And while there were numerous issues, the price was appropriate to them. My issue is not the "as is" issues, I can fix the eventually, but the failure to disclose some minor but significant issues to an internet buyer - things that don't show in pictures, and by the time I DRIVE six hours, I'm stuck. What's annoying is I specifically asked. The dealer experience itself was very good.

Disappointed that a main dealer would sell a car at retail price with both ball joints in a dangerous condition both tie rod ends also dangerous a major oil leak on the rear differential

I inquired about a 2005 buick if it had any fluid leaks before I drove 85 miles from Lancaster ky. I never did get a answer but did get a e-mail that they were going to auction car.

Bought the car! Love it. Gave me a fair price as well and easy financing...would do business with again. Nice to know that there are still some dealers out there wanting to sell many cars at a modest profit rather than making a killing on one car sale.

They weren't even interested in negotiating on the 2010 Corvette. That's fine because I found another 2010 Corvette for 3000 dollars less with 10,000 less miles for $29500.00. There loss

The car salesman was nice but there was more damage to the car than depicted. They were not willing to negotiate price at all and actually tried raising price by 1500$... Will not return there again

Response time was very long. Car I was interested in was gone. But when I asked specifically they said it was still there. I asked if they were certain. reply: no that vehicle is gone Their loss!
