Was pleased at first when called to set
up a test drive. They were to fix it so we
could test drive it. Drove 2.5 hrs one
way to test drive, but alternator locked
up so we couldn't drive it. Was told
once it was fixed they would meet us
closer for a test drive. We inquired a
few days later, but no response till later
that evening in a text say they sold it
the night before. Never even got a
chance to drive it. 5 hr round trip for
nothing.

Response from current dealership:
Thank you for your feedback Jeremy. Unfortunately we were not able to fix this the Friday you were there so you could test drive and had to wait until the following Monday when our mechanic got back to diagnose the situation and replace the alternator. We did have more than one customer looking at the same Highlander and they did decide to purchase it. We are happy to hear that you purchased another vehicle for your daughter that was close and wish you both well with it.

we received a fair deal and the owner/salesman seemed to be very helpful but we don't feel like he was 100% honest, which I've never met a 100% honest car salesman
