The car had tire pressure issues as well as a misaligned sunroof screen. I had to bring the vehicle back to the dealership to fix it and I am still waiting. It’s been about three days. I am very relieved that they took the vehicle to fix it. I just hate the fact that I bought the vehicle without having no repairs done prior to the purchase.
Jacob was easy to work with and very good about communication. Made the process smooth and easy. Up front about pricing. No surprises. Helpful and honest.

Such a comfortable experience overall. The dealer contacted me immediately and we communicated via email to set up an appointment. The vehicle was clean (however not fully detailed), and ready for test drive upon arrival. Also Sue Ireland was so pleasant and not like a “typical car salesman” as I had experience at another dealership and I’m so happy to had purchased the car there.
We contacted the dealer on a Monday and was told the vehicle was going to be inspected on that Wednesday. In Wednesday we were informed that the mechanics were backed up and that we would be called as soon as it was finished. We were contacted the following Wednesday evening andninfirmed the car was done but that another customer wanted it so they'd let us know if its sold. This is not how a business should conduct themselves, very poor customer service in our experience!

The dealership was responsive and my salesperson was courteous and respectful of my time. I highly recommend this dealership.
Prompt and very thorough response from salesman, answered questions on sales and lease options, prices, etc. Have had no response after first one, and repeated attempts to reach, from other dealers, even locally. Herb Gordon is out of state from me, but would put them first now on my list of dealers for acquiring this new vehicle. Thank you for your professionalism.

It was a good experience
The sales rep, Joe C., was a really nice guy and tried to help out in any way possible. However, the phrase "we
are going to do everything we can to accommodate you" was tossed around quite frequently and there was
virtually no accommodating of anything. I had to fight with them to fix the car as it had a check engine light on
when we had test driven it. They told me that the code wouldn't effect the car's driving, and that once I bought
and drove the vehicle and depleted the gas, I could take it to a Volvo dealer near me and have it fixed. I am not in
the market to have to take a car to a dealership right after I purchase it nor do I have any interest in depleting the
gas tank (as the XC90 requires 91 and it's expensive in PA). I had to fight with them to have their mechanics
drain the tank and fix the problem (since they still technically own the car!) It also took me 2.5 hours to just
purchase the car (even though everything was done). I was very annoyed with that too.

I was interested in this vehicle but because the vehicle did not meet certification standards the dealer chose not to sell it. Which was good because they demonstrated integrity in their selling process. I was offered to view and test drive another vehicle. I did not because of the amount that I wanted to spend for a vehicle. Overall I am very pleased with this dealership ‘s business practices.

I found my car at Herb Gordon. My salesperson worked to ensure I was completely satisfied be for I bought my car. The finance department got me a better finance rate than what I originally had. All in all my experience with Herb Gordon Volvo was exceptional.

They were so helpful and professional that we drove 240 miles to
purchase our XC90 from them instead of purchasing from a local
dealership. They returned all calls, emails and texts promptly. They
asked to handle the financing by beating my preapproved loan.
Delivery was quick and painless. Car gurus.com and this dealership
saved me money and time.

I purchased this car, and the salesman Michael Sarecky was very polite, intuitive, and professional, just great. In fact, I think that I got a great deal-no haggling back and forth nonsense-I good experience. They really know how to close a deal.
I asked why the CarFax report on their website showed many more miles than what was claimed in the ad. The dealer responded that they would check and get back to me. I didn't hear from them again, but they did put up the correct CarFax (which showed that the miles listed in the Cargurus listing was correct), and the car sold within a day.

Although the car I was interested had been sold before I could get there to look at it, The staff here has been very helpful and great. They did call me about the original car I liked but I just could not get there before it sold, but they called after and tried to help me find another of the same model. Unfortunately this car is for my teenage daughter and she has her heart set on a red one which they did not have. But they told me all the colors they did have, which I could see on their website and even took the time to take several pics of one that hadn't been posted to their site yet so they e mailed me the pics so I could check it out. Too bad they didnt have the color we needed because I feel they would really have been a joy to deal with because they seem to be all about customer service.I would definetly reccomend them.

Very good experience. Bradley, the salesman, stopped me from driving all the way out to Silver Spring when this car sold before I could get there. I appreciated that and followed up with him on another car.

Although we ended up not purchasing from Herb Gordon, I really had a pleasant experience. Peter promptly responded to all emails and was easy to work with as we considered the car. I never felt overly pressured from him or the manager Mario. We decided to purchase from a lexus dealert but it was not a reflection on our experience with Peter or this dealership.

Dealer was very responsive and got back to me quickly. The vehicle was
having some work done to meet the requirements of inspection and Peter
kept me informed of the progress and when the vehicle would be available
for test drive.
I felt like Peter did listen and adequately address most of my concerns.
There was an odd exhaust sound that got explained away as normal, but
from many X3 test drives this week, i know better. Ultimately, we were
unable to agree on a price. Although we were impressed with Peter as an
honest and upfront salesman, we were completely turned off by the archaic
tactics used car places get a bad reputation for, like going to the "manager's
office" to get approval.

I would rate them fair. I inquired about a vehicle over the Labor Day weekend (busy) and by the time they responded after the weekend it had sold. I received response from both salesman and his manager.

I called and left a message during the day about a used 2012 Volvo they had advertised. I didn't get a call back from them until the next day (no sense of urgency) and when the call was returned, the salesperson was of no use. He had very little knowledge of his inventory and said that he would have to follow-up with me later in the day with more information. I never heard back from him again about the information that I requested. I ended buying a new Volvo from Don Beyer Alexandria. They offered great service!
