Very attentive and well run
I haven't visited the dealership yet so I haven't seen the vehicle I inquired about, a 2011 Lincoln Navigator 4WD. So, this is only about my experience with the salesperson that contacted me. Rebecca responded quickly and answered all my questions. She assured me the vehicle is in great shape. She offered to give me the best price she could but was open and said it's already heavily discounted so she probably won't be able to do much more. As a last good gesture, she offered to pay for my gas if I decided to make the trip from Birmingham, AL. Didn't see that one coming. Thanks Rebecca! I enjoyed chatting with you. It was pleasant. I hope to conduct business with you soon.

Easy car buying experience.
I was not the buyer in this transaction. I was the go-between for my friend, Nancy, and the dealership. She bought the vehicle and we found the transaction pleasant except for one thing. She paid cash for the vehicle but we were still asked to wait for the finance manager. We waited several minutes and we were growing increasingly annoyed with being asked to wait when there were no arrangements to be made for payment. Finally our saleslady, Rebecca Lewis, came back and furnished us with the paper tag so that we could go on our way. I would advise the dealership to make sure that this doesn't happen to other customers.

Dealer representative Todd was helpful. I was confused about the actual price of the Truck. Price ranged from 26K
to 23K depending on the day I guess. I asked for an explanation and was told it was computer generated. I was not
comfortable making a deal on this truck.

After they called and made an appointment for me to drive the truck, I arrived at that time, took time out of my day, and got there and the truck had been in the body shop to be repainted, they never let me know prior to my arrival and even after sitting there, a guy came out and explained it to me, not even the lady I was to see. She never showed her face. Then a week later they contacted me and said, "Oh forgot to tell you someone else has already placed a deposit on that truck." SO why even contact me with an appointment when someone else had already placed money down. NOT GOOD!!!

Found this pre-owned SUV on CarGurus that met our preferences. Checked out the car options and history on the Howard Bentley website. Contacted the dealer through the CarGurus application and promptly received a phone call with answers to questions. Then set up an appointment to preview the vehicle - Howard Bentley is more than 100 miles away. Went over with a preapproved loan at a very good rate. A very pleasant and knowledgeable sales lady went on a test drive with us and answered our remaining questions. Decided to purchase the car and received a lower rate on the loan through the dealer and also a very good price on an extended warranty. Very pleasant experience.

not the vehicle I was looking for

Dealer did respond over and over trying to push the sale. The car was
not cared for and even though it had been on their lot a long time it
was in no condition to be shown. I feel they should have taken extra
measures to make it presentable and all the loose paint chips in the
trunk showing that some work had been done was no way to build my
confidence in the care of this vehicle.
