Good interaction, but the dealer was a bit slow in responding to my inquiries. I was not successful with my full-price cash offer to the dealer -- I wish responsiveness were quicker, not delayed. Having said that, I appreciate the follow-through at the end of the business conversation, as it enabled me to look for other purchase opportunities from other dealers.

Very helpful throughout the experience
MY TIME WAS WASTED: I negotiated pricing
on a 2026 Toyota Corolla via email after
connecting through CarGurus. During the
email exchange, I requested non-contingent
finance pricing. I clearly stated that if pricing
was contingent on financing with the
dealership, I would not be coming in and
moving on with another dealership.
After that clarification, the dealership provided
an out-the-door price that was represented as
non-contingent on financing, which is the only
reason I traveled to the dealership to purchase
the vehicle using my own financing in tow.
When I arrived, the vehicle had over 1,500
miles, and I was told it had previously been
sold and returned after financing fell through,
information that had not been disclosed
beforehand. I was also told that the non-
contingent pricing provided via email could not
be honored unless I financed with the
dealership.
Because the terms presented in person
differed from what was confirmed in advance, I
chose not to proceed.
They was straight playing around. Kept messaging me saying someone was gone reach out. They never did got notification saying it was sold after waiting 3 days for someone to contact me. Would not recommend definitely going be spreading the word on.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry to hear you had this experience, though it doesn’t reflect how our team typically operates. We work hard to respond quickly and keep customers updated—especially on high-demand vehicles.
Unfortunately, without a name or contact info, we’re unable to verify the situation or reach out directly. If you're open to it, we’d appreciate the chance to look into this further and clear up any miscommunication. Please feel free to contact our Sales Manager at 229-247-1934.

First dealership I’ve ever tried buying a vehicle out of state that red flagged me for being a “SCAM” they knew this transaction was going to be via FedEx and having the vehicle picked up and transported to me. Ran my credit and everything to find out they jacked the price up and told me oh we sold it to someone locally. That’s okay I ordered a new one and I’ll be paying less.

Hey Tylor, I took the time to fully review your case and speak with the people involved.
While I understand some of the frustration around not getting the vehicle you wanted, you have fabricated the details (here and to the salesperson) to mask what is actually your refusal to accept the rationale given to you. While we have sold to buyers across the country before and will do it again, we do it on our terms, not yours. These criteria and safeguards are simply to protect us as a dealer. Dealership was very nice.
Dealership was highly under prepared for my set appt. Car had electrical issues(needed a new battery) as well as needed power steering fluid. I did not get to test drive the vehicle and I’ve only been sent automated emails and my responses to those emails have not been acknowledged. No one has reached out to me ensuing my visit. I understand that the vehicle is a showroom car but that’s all the more reason to have the vehicle charged and prepped after a customer inquiries about it. I’m the future if I come back then I would like for them to take the situation a tad bit more seriously.

Response from current dealership:
Hey Charles, we hate to hear that you've had a negative experience with our Sales Team. Unfortunately, you are right to be disappointed. While not an excuse, the primary reason for this situation is that the salesperson that worked with you was terminated shortly after your appointment. When that happened, your profile failed to reassign, so our messages were going out, but your incoming messages were not alerting anyone. So we had an operational failure and then a technical failure, culminating in a failure of providing the customer experience that you rightfully expect from us and we always

Decent experience but they Low balled me on
my trade in. I was given $4,000 more from
another dealership.
May 11, 2023
Response from current dealership:
We hate to hear that you weren't pleased with our initial trade offer. $4,000 more definitely raises an eyebrow. We use a combination of book values (KBB, NADA, BlackBook, etc) and market values (real-time data on that exact vehicle's retail prices within 500 miles), so either this other dealer is less sophisticated OR they are overwhelmingly generous. Either way, hopefully you presented our team with their offer and a chance to counter. We are happy to continue to work with you, or if you bought elsewhere, we hope you enjoy your new ride.
Dealership has an option on the website to get price of vehicle with trade-in. The price on the website
is the reason we decided to drive 2 hours to the dealership to test drive and possibly purchase the
vehcile. We were provided paperwork for the sale at a price over $6000 higher than the price we had
seen on the website. I asked the saleperson, Mr Korec if he could go to the website and walk through
the process that I had to get the value of the sale and he did. The result of him entering all of the
information resulted in a similar price to what I had received. At this point the sales manager, Dave
Broadway, came over and told me that they could add an additional $1000 to the price of the trade-in
but could not honor the price on the website. He also suggested that we just purchase the vehicle
without the trade in. We left the dealership and started our 2 hour drive back home.

"Perkmeister," posting this review to all of these different sites does not make your depiction any more true or our response any different, but here it is again.
The core of this is very simple: the trade tool on the website is there to provide customers (you) with a sight-unseen appraisal estimate range based on your own user input and average market values. Then, it is our job as the experts to assign and negotiate an actual value that we are willing to purchase it for after we are able to officially evaluate the condition of the vehicle and its value within our market and mix

The dealer called and emailed several times.
Adam contacted me, BUT he wouldn’t come down a penny and was presumptuous and condescending. Looks like they have a good inventory and probably would have done business had he been better.
Jan 12, 2021
Response from current dealership:
We hate to hear that you and Adam were unable to come to terms on your recent inquiry. While I have no way of investigating your case further (with no name or specifics), it is not necessarily surprising that we were not able to further reduce the price of a vehicle that you saw here on CarGurus. While not always the case, it is very often true that our listed Internet Price is our absolute best price. In order to remain competitive on websites like this (that rank according to price-to-market), we often have to slash the price up front, and therefore we are not able to negotiate it down any f

Sales person was very pushy. He would only look at vehicles on his computer. We didn't even get to look on the lot. He was assuming what we needed instead of what we really wanted. We walked away without purchasing anything even though we were pre-approved for financing before we went. Very bad experience.

Response from current dealership:
We hate hearing that you had a negative experience with one of the members of our Sales Department. The situation you described is very strange and atypical, so it is difficult to understand how that would be the case. Unfortunately, without your name and with only the information that you have provided here, we have no way of investigating your complaints any further. We would love to learn more, apologize where appropriate, and right any wrongs, so feel free to give any of our Sales Managers a call at your earliest convenience.
I did end up purchasing the vehicle from them. I am very happy with the SUV but one thing I will say is they did not accurately disclose the mileage on the odometer it was off by 900 miles for a new car (they disclosed 13 it had over 900), they did deliver it to me in Jacksonville at no charge so I'm not counting the miles driven for that delivery, actual mileage on delivery was over 1000. I'm not sure if this was due to disorganization or misrepresentation . Other than that everyone I dealt with was very polite and did everything in their power to get the deal done. Even with the mileage discrepancy I am happy with my purchase price.

Response from current dealership:
Hey Zachary, although it's great to hear that you enjoyed working with Emily in getting a great deal on your Highlander Hybrid, we hate to see that your experience had a blemish on it. Even as I look now, our system is still showing the 19 miles that was likely copied onto your paperwork, so it was a simple reporting error. I can not say for sure, but it is likely the case that the vehicle - being a 2019 - had been on several extended test drives and was not properly updated upon return. No harm done, and the discount you received certainly more than covers that disparity (as you noted), but i

Terrific
This dealership lowered the bar for sleazy tactics. My trade in is only 2 years old, literally in perfect condition with super low miles. The KBB clean trade in value happens to be exactly what I owe on the car. They undercut (the already low trade in values) by $1.5k because, that's something an honest dealership does right? Then they value their vehicle over the KBB price of a Certified Pre-owned and it's not a CPO. And last thing, the ultimate sleaze dealer move of putting $700 in taxable "dealer fees" onto the contract. If you don't understand what that means; because the "fees" are taxed, they are literally just putting another $700 back onto the car because true fees are not taxed, just products. The actual response by Mike Mayzak was nonsense about my trade & he actually told me Tacoma values are going up due to the economy crashing (lmao, yeah, seriously) and finally he asked me to forward him all the Tacomas I find while I'm shopping so he can add them to his inventory. CRAZY

Response from current dealership:
Mark, we won't be responding further. If the previous explanations were insufficient, then there is no merit in continuing in conversation with such a bad faith actor. While it's unfortunate that we couldn't come to an agreement on the terms of your deal, that happens every day in our business (and others) without further incident. If you were able to find a better deal at another dealer, congratulations on your purchase, and we wish you the best.

My service was awesome. Lori was my sales person. She responded promptly. I would definitely recommend purchasing a car from Valdosta Toyota.
Over priced. Sales lady very polite. A manger made a remark that he could probably get at auction a better price than i offered.

Response from current dealership:
Darin, admittedly, we are shocked to see this review. Looking back over the notes of your experience, it is clear that your request was wildly unreasonable.
Your perception of "over priced" is completely subjective and errant. The vehicle's value is defined by the market and is thus subject to debate, but even better, the actual cost of the vehicle (what we own it for) is completely objective. You stated that you wanted to be at $45,000 out-the-door on a 2019 F-150 King Ranch that we own for $46,000. So to get your OTD price (which includes all taxes, fees, and in your case, deli

after purchasing the truck I noticed a pretty bad crack in the paint. Not described in the description on the dealer website. Called back and told them and was told well it’s a used vehicle. After spending 38k I thought they would have showed a little more concern even though it was used. Service was great but after purchase it was the complete opposite!!
Dec 27, 2019
Response from current dealership:
Hey Darrell, we hate to see that your otherwise great experience was dampened by this discovery. As I am sure you were told on the phone, however, used vehicles are sold "as-is." While it is unfortunate that you did not notice this crack beforehand, nothing is ever done to deliberately conceal blemishes on our used vehicles. The summary description that you are referencing on the website is meant to succinctly showcase the key features of that vehicle and nothing more. The pictures are a better documentation of any visible marks, but a thorough in-person examination is obviously your

I am a repeat customer with Valdosta Toyota. It has to be
difficult for other dealers to compete with their price, service,

they followed up nicely. my only complaint was the reception/background noise... seemed to be a call center. difficult to hear.
Sep 6, 2016
I e-mailed them and they responded by stating that I had given them a
wrong number because I did not answer their calls. Apparently they were
calling my phone from a "blocked" or "unknown" number, calls I did not
answer because I don't answer blocked calls. They would not return my e-
mails. I e-mailed them specifically to find out about the warranty on the
vehicle and rec'd. no response. Poor customer service! I will take my money
somewhere else.

It was a good experience. They really tried to get me in the car that I wanted so I have nothing bad to say.
May 13, 2016
I rented a truck and trailer to bring the car back to Jacksonville. The dealership found a turn signal that was not working, so for 5.5 hours one mech played with it. I was told there were 3 other working on it but all I saw was1 person there. I got to look at it in there shop, a very fast look, I did not drive it or sit in it, but the next day when they brought the car to me I found 3 items I am fixing. One is a seat belt that does not lock (safety 101) plus two other items that they said were in the car but they are BROKEN!! If this car was in JAXs I would not have bought it, the only thing the offered to fix was the seat belt if I drive back to the dealership and have them work on it. I saw how they worked in the light and the seat belt is a litter harder.

Daughter absolutely loves her Corolla.
No haggling or pressure
Jan 10, 2014
The car was just as advertised - low mileage and in pristine condition. We purchased it with cash and our trade-in. Unfortunately, our experience with one of the finance managers did not go so well. He attempted to circumvent the process for paying the state tax by exaggerating the price of the car and value of the trade-in.. The general manager straightened out the paperwork but it has now been 28 days and we have not received our tags, registration or title. If these are not received in the next 2 days we will have to get extended temporary tags from our county tag office. Very nice car - not so good customer service.

Dec 18, 2012
I called and asked about a specific vehicle. I talked to them on the phone
and lied saying they had it. I show up then the guy that calls me goes and
hides rather then be up front and tell me they sold the car a long time ago.
They didn't care about wasting my time and I am not doing bussiness/
trusting someone with my money when I'm lied to in the first place to get
me to show up.
