I was contacted promptly by dealer and found a car that seemed like a great deal at a fair price. Unfortunately the car suffered engine troubles within the first week of purchase that resulted in over $1000 worth of repairs. It made me question whether they thoroughly inspected the car before putting it up for sale. Since the car was being sold at the high end of the value of the car for miles and year of the car I would’ve expected that it was fully inspected for any potential issues to determine that value. Since the cars are sold as is, there is no recourse and the responsibility falls on me, which I accept, it does leave me with the question of if they price their cars based on actually fully inspecting them.

Staff was very professional and patient throughout the entire process. Very straightforward and willing to compromise to close the deal. I would highly recommend this company.

200 miles after I bought the car the check engine light came on and now the steering making noise but that's about what I expected. They inspect the car with the steering is a very good so how can they pass it for an inspection with the steering shaking .

They were helpful.
Cars were not great shape, vehicle I drove all the way out to wentzville to test drive had a gas light on so I was afraid to drive it very far at all. Prices were what I’d expect for a vehicle with 2/3 the mileage and kept in pristine condition (which these were not).
The owner was nice and not pushy during my visit, which was good.
Paul and his sons provided wonderful customer service throughout the process. They have a large selection of nice vehicles, and went above and beyond to be helpful and courteous, and make sure the vehicle I bought was in top shape. I would highly recommend this Dealer to anyone needing a used vehicle.

Very good selection. Sales person was very helpfull.
I took the car into Fred's for a "pre-purchase" check out. It needed almost $2000 to be made ready. Even one of the windshield wipers was broken to the point that it flipped/flopped as I was trying to navigate Wentzville in the rain. That was something that could have easily fixed. I presented them with the results of Fred's evaluation and made them an offer commensurate with the condition and they declined after claiming they could do everything on the list except the tired. If they could, why didn't they?

No attention to detail. Sunroof would not open, Anti-lock brakes did not work, and car was filthy inside.
