Overall great experience with buying my first car. I have had no issues with my vehicle what’s so ever they were very open about the history and maintenance done to the vehicle and staff were very welcoming. They made me feel very comfortable while getting the car and very proud of myself for all the hard work it took to be able to buy my own car, I did buy the car before it had routine maintenance and personally didn’t have the time at the moment to ask them to do it before I left the lot but they were nice enough to fill up my gas tank and top off my oil. I’m sure if I asked they would have done the maintenance for me other that that no major issues or any break the bank bills so far overall great experience and dealer. Definitely will have to visit and thank them again in the future.

The dealership has poor customer service and lack integrity. I was in the the process of purchasing a vehicle and they sold the vehicle the day before I was scheduled to come pick it up. I was in contact with them through the whole process. I had the check in hand and already had insurance coverage for the vehicle and being that I was an out of town buyer they should have held the car at least until the day I said I was coming to get the vehicle. But instead I was told they sell to the first one with the money and that it was my fault.

Overall 4 stars for getting back to me promptly. I would have gave 5 if they would have made little more effort to try to get me financing on the car. I drive a truck all during the week so it's hard for me to try and do it .
The dealer was helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to have the car checked by the mechanic of my choice. There was no give on the cars price. I paid exactly what they asked. However based on the CarGurus analysis it was a good deal. As long as you are prepared to pay what they ask, you will have a great experience.
I requested history information about the MX-5 and questioned what appears to be excessive
corrosion in the engine compartment. They never answer my questions or provided any
additional information about the car. I was not interested in providing this dealer with my business. I found a Shinsen model at a better
price from a private owner for much less.

Dealer responded to my questions quickly
This dealership is shady and I felt it from the beginning. The vehicle was is TERRIBLE condition. Driver inside door handle was falling off, the seats were in horrendous condition and their detailing is funny. They used the excuse that it's an '08 but no, I sold an '08 in condition 10 times better than this and they clearly try to hide it in their pictures. Do not trust them.

I take my hat off to the owner and sales team at Weaver Motorsports. I had a great experience with them. I drove off the lot in the best priced Chevy Avalanche in a 200 mile radius. Jason, Mike and Lou are definitely on my Christmas list. Thanks guys, I will be spreading the word.
The most satisfying car buying experience I have ever had. If I ever need
another vehicle Iâll just call Jason to see what he has for sale. I Purchased
my vehicle without seeing it in person or driving It. They recommended
three mechanics to inspect the vehicle before purchase, and the three
items he found were corrected immediately. If you donât call Weaver Motor
sports for your next vehicle youâll never know what purchasing an
automobile can really be like.
I’m a couple hours away and ask some general questions about condition. Mainly rust and body condition. Also ask where the truck was from. Explained that I was burned on a rusty vehicle before and didn’t want to make the trip if any issues.

I would assume they know what they are looking at when purchasing used cars so I take that as buyers beware. Could have just been honest or shot a few pics to show issues. Think I’ll keep looking. Just my two cents

Overall experience was nice. Nice vehicles inside the building. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The person that I talked with was helpful and friendly. But the vehicle that I came to look at was a disappointment. On top of that I drove 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there with the intention to pay cash. The truck has a lot of rust under the bottom and under the hood.

Quick response to my questions. I went to the dealership a few days later to test drive the car I was interested in. It was an awesome car but after I test drive a few others I fell in love with a different car. Purchased that day. Lou and his team were awesome. Very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely purchase from them again.

Received a good vehicle at a decent price. I'm satisfied with my deal. There is however a glaring need for a customer service department. The manager/owner mr. Weaver; has as much personality as my front porch. He never gave me the sense that my business was welcomed. His assistant was quite the opposite. It would have been better working directly with him. I reached out to Mr weaver after my purchase with a question about maintenance and a request for a carfax. My email went unanswered. No real surprise. All in all; my vehicle is solid so far.

A day after contacting weaver via car gurus, I called them to get information about the car. I was told they were busy with other customers (in a way that made me believe they don’t really need my money). Two days later, I received an email. I responded that I would like the car fax and also asked a couple of questions. Two days later, no response.
Applied for a credit check, a week went by and never got results. I then called, and left a message and finally 2 days later I got a call back. The man I talked to said he believed I would have no problem getting approved and would make sure he would have my application reviewed and they would call me back when done so. Another week went by and I never heard a word so I called again, and heard the same story... it’s been 3 months now and I haven’t heard a single word back from this dealer. The car I was looking to purchase is still for sale, it’s a shame. But what can you do?
Place contacted promptly, was fully transparent about vehicle listed as a
mechanic's special. I was willing to take it on for that if I could get clarity of it
being a true deal.
Buyer in Texas believes in financing/escrow measures to aid both buyer and
seller, buyer has available credit balance. Mid-Atlantic sellers just want
straight cash. First snag.
Buyer in TX requested Apple Facetime/Google Duo video tour, got 45
seconds of exterior front, right sides only. No interior, features.
Started getting pushy pressure wanting a fast sale.
Summoned a pre purchase, also at this point asked family wwyd, mechanic
gave me Dad talk: "mechanic's special is kosher when dealing with an
individual who knows the car inside and out, and it's completed history.
Mechanic's special at a sales lot was likely wholesale auction bought in bulk,
no knowledge of car. You are not buying a car, you are buying someone
else's headache with too many unknowns."

They contacted me right away, gave me the answers I needed, and were very helpful.
The air conditioning did not work on the car and I was never told this before I traveled to pick it up. I asked about the condition and was told the only issue was faded paint on the bumper. As I was driving away from the dealer, I called them to see if there was anything they could do about the AC issue. Without asking me what I would like, the owner said that we sold the car to me too cheap and I could drive it back to him and he would give me my money back. That's great if I didn't just drive down 5 hours in a rental car to pick up the vehicle. I did get the AC fixed and am happy with the car. I would have liked better disclosure and a helpful reply when I called about a necessary item that wasn't working after I found out by surprise. It was ~90 degrees in Raleigh when I picked up the car. Fortunately, it is a convertible.

I inquired about car the previous night but i called i guess before they got my email lol majority of the buying process was done before i got to lot. They almost sold my car to someone else but the salesperson was very understanding & fair. They could’ve quickly sold it but he considered my dedication and feeling towards a car i really wanted and that’s why i gave them 5 stars!! They were nice, friendly & funny. The only difference between online & in person is that the website didn’t have the EXACT mileage of the car, it was abt 2-300 mileage difference. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend this dealership to someone!!

I did not go look at the car. They are not open on weekend, and said you have to be pre-approved to take a test drive. Don't want to have my credit checked every time I take a test drive.

Dealer responded fairly quickly
The establishment itself was very nice and the employees were very helpful. However the car I was interested in was not in very good shape
both cosmetically and mechanically. And there was a hiccup where they forgot to give me my ID back and I had to go through a whole ordeal
to get it back.

The salespersons and related staff were very friendly during the whole process of purchasing this car from beginning to end. Even detailed it and filled it up with gas while we were working through all of the paperwork. I'm very pleased with my purchase, would recommend Weaver Motorsports to anyone, and would buy from them again.

You declined - the other customer came - bought the car at full asking price. No play acting - just business.

I feel as if I was catfished with a car, in the photos the car is bright red in person it was closer to maroon. I began to point out deficiencies on the car and the sales man became angry, when I asked if it was in an accident because the front bumper was messed up and the door had patches in the paint I could still see the brush marks and he cut me off and repeatedly said I don’t know that doesn’t mean it was in an accident I don’t own this car it wasn’t mine. In conclusion I had a bad experience with this dealership and sales man “Lou”. Would NOT recommend this dealership.

Friendly staff but was told the car I was buying
out of state had zero rust or damage. Was also
told it was the enthusiast model. Once I paid and
paid to have it shipped I found that it has over 7k
in damage caused by rust. I have professional
estimates from three well known auto body
shops. Also the check engine light is on and it’s
in fact the base model. In my state cars must
pass inspection to be registered. I haven’t even
been able to register it yet and likely will never be
able to as the 7k to fix the rusted out frame that
holds the rear subframe is out of my price range
and my state says it’s a liability. I offered to ship
it back at my cost if he would just take it back
because it’s to damaged to be driven in my
state. He said no. I begged him to help me and
he told me I learned a lesson I have emails and
photos to prove everything I’ve said. I’d be

Someone from weavers got back to be. They said a buyer might pick up the vehicle I was looking at. They said, they would get back to me if it had sold or not. Not sure it if was sold because they never got back to me. If you say you're gonna do something, do it. I might have checked if you guys had something else I wanted. Thanks for keeping me waiting.

The dealership did respond via email but didn't provide any additional info requested. Not a big deal, just hoped for answers to my questions. When I called, I learned all prices are firm - non-negotiable and without additional fees, so keep that in mind when shopping here. Lou was pleasant and clear with the terms, however.

I contacted them about a car and they said they would lmk the next day what I need to do and I never heard from them and so I contacted them and they sold the car. Never even let me know til I contacted them. And I just want to say it took me a long time to decide on what car I wanted to get and this just really upset me.

The experience over the phone was fantastic but after putting $500 down for them to hold the car for me, I found out that they misrepresented the car. I was told the car was in perfect shape but upon arrival I found dents, dings, scratches and several broken pieces inside the car. Would not return my $500 even after misleading me on the condition of the car.
