would not sell at advertised price i was at dealer drove car was on car guru at$16500 $395 doc fee price there was $17170, plus $499 doc fee

I contacted the dealer for an Out The Door price on a truck. After some back and forth I was told that they could sell it for $73,500 out the door. I contacted them and confirmed that they still had the truck and said I was ready to make a deal. I then received a message from the manager saying that they had found some issues with the truck and it was in their repair shop so they would contact me when it was ready. A few days later the manager contacted me and said they could sell it for $75,500 out the door. Their only explanation for the price increase was that they had to do so work on the vehicle. So essentially they were going to have me pay for whatever repairs that they “SUPPOSEDLY” made to the vehicle. I have no way of knowing if anything was even actually done. My opinion is that the manager decided that they were selling it too cheap. I could have paid the extra $2000 but I didn’t out of principle. I work too hard for my money to just hand it over to shady dealerships.

The photo that I saw was a shop photo. I would not have contact them had I know that car was White. We are looking for a late model Black or Silver with a CD player and V6.
