The price was listed as $19,900 on Cargurus and the dealer website (not the $23,900 shown now). The dealer added on for additional features the car had which one would expect to be included in the price of the vehicle. There were also exorbitant destination fees, which were eventually waived. The salesman was good to work with, but the general model of advertising a price thousands under market value to draw in customers, then leveling add-ones and fees of nearly $8,000 seemed dishonest. Only through laborious negotiations was an acceptable compromise reached, then damage to the vehicle was discovered upon making the return home that was not disclosed by the dealer. A very informative (for future purchases) and disappointing interaction with the dealership.

Very confusing. I reached out to them and one person told me the vehicle was sold and then I got emails from different people from the dealership saying they were following up on my inquiry. Each time I responded by asking if the vehicle was still available but I never got a clear response. If shopping online I'd recommend staying away from this dealership and just walk away from any dealership online that causes confusion.

They have a car posted on $43,900 and when they send me the final number, it was around $54K.
Read other reviews after I had already fallen for their games.. but yeah what everybody saying in the reviews is true. I got approved online for a car listed at 22,900$ but they added an extra 9k on it and the salesperson (Jeffrey) deceived me into filling out their own online app just to have my details on file he said, only for them to run another hard inquiries on my credit and when I asked why he did that without my consent he said he had to resubmit the app because I told them I didn’t want some of the extra fees that was on my already approved app. It seems they enjoy running hard inquiries on customers credit for no reason.
Dealer increased the price after I was interested in buying the car. They said the car was sold but they are fine with me buying it at the increased price which means whoever purchased the car will be extremely upset when they found out they can’t get the car that they purchased. Matter of fact what if I had purchased the car then someone else came in to buy it higher. I would stay far away from this dealer. They seem like some scam artist.

Terrible dealership, Car was priced at 33,900.00 agreed on price of 33k. While we were preparing to make the trip to purchase the price was suddenly changed to 38,900.00. Instead of the dealer being honest, they called claiming the vehicle was on an accident during transport not knowing we had already noticed the price change. The car has no damage and currently on the lot listed at the higher price. BUYER BEWARE

I wanted the out the door total price. I had contacted them and they didn't respond right away which I emailed again and they still wouldn't
send the price I was asking for. Not very helpful and they wanted my bank info so they could send it to them. Waste of time to try and do

The internet sales associate who took my lead was extremely helpful, prompt, personable and professional. Unfortunately, each time the sales person told me their manager would reach out to me to further discuss my potential purchase, he or she never did. After the last go-around and being left in the lurch again, I called off the potential sale. I would try them again in the future if I was searching for inventory they had.

Horrible!!!
Worst experience I’ve ever had.
Went to see the car listed at $44,900, get there the car was listed at $58,000.
I told the sales guy that the car was not listed at that.
He told me that the internet price doesn’t include the fees.
He went to the “manager” and came back with a piece of paper with fees for detailing, prep fees..
that all would be worth $13,100 I asked.
The sales guy rudely asked me if I was there to buy the car or what.
I told him off and left.
Very disrespectful and I have no idea how they’re still in business.
Avoid it at all costs !

All the reviews about this place are a 100% valid, I contacted them yesterday in regards to a Dodge Challenger. After speaking with the sales rep and asking about their fees. The sales rep seemed frustrated,
And transfer me to a manager, without even telling me she's going to transfer me, the manager answered the call disrespectful right away asking how can we help you so after having to repeat myself and my question about the fees the manager said "sir are you buying a car, or are you buying fees" ....I've never delt with such incompetence before and disrespect which solidified their fees are outrageous and indeed the reviews about this place are all true. Cannot believe they are still in business
Dealer did not want to sale at advanced price. He increased $6000 more to the price. I drove 35 miles to buy this car. I called the dealer before I went there to verify the price, and the other features such as GPS, power seats leather etc in the car. Non of those features were in the car. It was not a good experience with this dealer. I wasted lots of time and money to visit this dealer.
They do not advertise the true price.I contacted they for a car priced around 37k. While discussing pricing, I was informed on I paid cash or financed through a separate bank or credit union I would have to pay the market price for the car. The market price became 45k somehow. No idea how they determined the market price. I agreed to finance through them, but I had to finance at least 5k. When I asked for out the door price, it jumped to 42.5k. 4k is dealer preparation fee, 800 on god knows what and another 800 on something. I do not recommend this dealer.
Really bad experience! Only after seven days of emails, did I receive some acceptable service. The price is listed as $29,900 for the car, and
after filling out all the details and emailing ID's, and credit report, they let you know that they have a $5,000 Dealer Preparation Fee. Moreover,
you have to use their financing which is higher than the rate you get from your bank. All in all, a bad experience, and a waste of time and
effort. I do not recommend, nor will I use them again.
Waste of time, this dealers is a scam! It's not
the price advertised, they advertise a low price
and then tack on fees and tell you that they are
into the car for more then it's worth. And their
staff haven't got a clue how to close a deal!
They can't even add numbers correctly when
trying to give you a final sales number with all
the "added Fees"...Terrible service!!
Upon arrival they jumped the price over 10k in fees then tried to give me 5k less than what my trade in was worth claiming they couldn't sell it at dealer retail because they weren't specialists for said manufacturer despite trying to sell their car 10k over the fair dealer retail value. They also said I had to go through one of their lenders to get discounts and didn't let me test drive the vehicle either.
I went for finance option after i was told that the advertised price is for finance only and that I can pay early with no penalty and there is no finance fee. When i got the monthly payment amount based on % apr and financed amount, monthly payment was $300 higher. while checking I found out that it had finance charge + other charges added. Long story short - Always use an online loan calculator and verify the numbers before you sign any paper.

Saw a listing online. Reached out to see if it was real and still there. After some back and forth confirming the price. Then I gave all my information to start the process. Let them know I am 150 miles away. Set up an appointment to test drive. When I got there the car was in rough shape. Seats were dirty, sticky stuff on the handles. Was willing to look past this, went inside to talk price. They came out with the sticker price plus a market adjustment that bumped the price up by 50 percent. Making a rwd 320 more expensive then a xdrive 328. Ask them to remove that adjustment as I had come 3 hours for the advertised price. They refused and said that was the price. I walked out, the sales associate seemed nice as did the rest of the staff. However due to the shady pricing I would not recommend them.
This vehicle 2014 Jeep Wrangler was on CarGurus for $16,900 & emailed to me 2 times. I called the dealership to
purchase and they wouldn't honor the price advertised. Told me they would call me back that something was wrong
with the price. They did not. I called the next morning and was told the Jeep was sold & hung up on me.

I liked the car and was very close to buying it! The salesman seemed nice in the beginning. My
wife and I were very close to moving forward with it. The car did have some issues that needed
to be repaired. Since they would not take care of everything I figured they could at least drop the
price a bit. The salesman insisted that I come back to the dealership so they could run my credit.
He also said that he talked to his manager and could work with us on the price. I don't know why
they couldn't run my credit online like other places. So at a huge inconvenience to my wife and I
we went down there to do it in person. I planned on buying the car. I went through all that trouble
to sit and wait and wait to find out they would only drop the price 2 or 3 hundred bucks. The kid
could have told me that over the phone! Then he gets his finance manager to kill the sale by
telling me how little money there making off the car. If their manners and service were better I
would of took it home!
Communication was very poor. Kept getting tossed between sales people. Every time they called me it was a different person that had no idea what car I was interested in and I had to explain it every time. Was 100% in on buying a car until they skyrocketed the price over $4,000 in dealers fees and taxes. Price listed is not remotely close to what they’re trying to get from you. It’s too bad because it was the perfect car I was looking for.
Wanted to charge additional $3,000 for a Doc & Dealers fee, and another $700 for tags & registration. They advertise the vehicle at certain price, and then want to charge other hidden fees. Seems outrageous right? Don't take my word for it, read other reviews reported about One Square Auto.
I bought a vehicle two years ago 30 min away from this dealers, I paid for the Doc fee $134 and $75 for a temporary tag until I registered my own vehicle.
There should be a law against this, this is outrageous.

Went through the entire process of buying the car. Has a certified check in there name to pick up the vehicle. When I was on my way to pick it up, they told me it’s being sold already. Wasted 2 days of my time for no reason. The person I was dealing with was AJ. Very bad service, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Spoke with couple of dealers in NJ and all of them were adding about
10% âdealershipsâ or âservice â fee on top of the advertised price. I
called SQ1 and spoke with Richard. When I mentioned a dealership
fees he was pretty surprised. To make story short, I bought my car
from SQ1. Price was exactly as advertised. No hidden fees. And even
more, I asked to lover my monthly payment below certain amount and
he did.
Great job! He got a customer and I strongly recommend this place to
everyone. Speak with Richard.

Price and miles are not in line for me.
The reps were good and proffecionals only prob i had was i whent for the jeep with the black on black v8 and they sold it after i was have way there they dint bother to call me or anything 6 hr round trip for nothing then they wanted me to over pay for one with a jeep v6 i dint mind paying $520 for the one i whent for..
Nice car, facility, very polite and helpful staff but what's with the Dealer Fee of $1800? To avoid misleading customers and very unpleasant surprise, this type of substantial charge should be included in the advertised price of the car. Otherwise visible upfront to potential buyer before he decides to visit the place.
This place is a huge scam they price there cars low just to add 4000 dollars of fees on there total rip off I would avoid at all cost these people don’t deserve anyone’s business there are plenty of Better dealerships in the area that will be way more honest if you want to get ripped off and continue to make these guys rich stay here but my advice is to stay far away from them

I will be test driving one of their vehicles this Saturday. So far the dealership has answered every single email I have sent them. And in a timely manner. I am very impressed so far with them.
Made an appointment and drove an hour and half with my checkbook and title of my trade in. Arrived and test drove the car and decided to move onto negotiations. I had done my research on the car and knows exactly what to expect. Was willing to pay the asking price and then comes the rude surprise. They threw in 2500 dollars worth of BS dealer fees. 250 for tags, 600 for registration and 1900 for dealer processing fees? WTF am I paying for 1900 dollars? Afterwards dealer tells me their cost of the car is 38,500 when they advertised it at 35,900. Which means the dealer marked down the car 2500 below to lure you to the showroom when every intention to tack on the pricing in fees to make up the difference. Very shady practice considering I have bought 3 cars in NJ and never had trouble with BS like this. They stated that buyers is responsible for all fees and taxes which I understand. I am sure registration and tags does not cost 850 dollars and 1900 of dealer processing fees for what?

The dealership would not accept my trade and could not get me approved because I did not put money down.
Terrible. I played phone tag with them all week and the rep who contacted me never returned my phone calls. Not only that but when the sales rep I was speaking to finally came back to the office, i was transferred to them and they dropped my phone call and hung up on me. Great job losing a $20k sale guys! That’s the way to do customer service.
I arrived for my 9:30 appointment and the vehicle was not ready for me to see - there was
a flat tire they had to take to get fixed. After 40 minutes, I walked out without seeing the
vehicle. Worst part is, I drove 1 hour to see this vehicle and the salesperson knew this
from our earlier exchange.

I drove an 2 hours to visit and potentially buy this vehicle which is NOT in service nor is this vehicle on the showroom floor. The sales men took my family to their other car lot knowing the car was in the shop to show me a red 2013 rt with 100,000 for 17,010 it’s was an horrible experience. I contacted the dealership many times to check on the vehicle pictured and was told on multiple times the the Charger was available which was a false statement. Completely wasted of time visiting this dealership.

Basically wrote me off as “unqualified” for financing due to the fact that unemployment insurance is my current income source during this pandemic!!!
The dealership was responsive and we were able to arrange an in-person meeting and test drive of the
car within a day. Even though the independent dealership was extremely busy, we greeted quickly and
were able to test drive the car within 15 minutes of arriving.
My rating is extremely low due to the amount of dealer fees attached to the purchase. The car was
listed for $4,900, but with fees and taxes the final amount came to $8,900. This included a dealer
preparation fee between $1800-1900 and a LoJack (GPS tracker) installation fee of $650. They
apparently install LoJack on all of their cars. If we didn't want LoJack they would deduct $275 for
deactivating it. This was all ridiculous to me. I mentioned that the fees were enormous and I didn't
expect to pay more than $6k for the car in total after taxes and fees. I thanked the salesperson for their
time and walked out. Extremely frustrating.

After making an appointment traveling over and hour I was disappointed. Marvin assured me the vehicle came to see was available and several others of the same model. Upon my arrival none of the cars that were listed were there. I was given the excuse they were just sold. Marvin says that’s the nature of the game. I called the receptionist after leaving and she informed me the cars weren’t on he lot for several days. Four days after my visit those cars are still listed for sale. Please don’t waste your time.

Dealer called me 2 hours before visit to say the car I intended to buy that was (and still is) on its website for $13,900 had its engine replaced (makes no sense for a 5 yr-old Mercedes with <55k miles and supposedly was never in an accident or a flood), so would be $17,900. And, it’s 2 weeks later and they have not updated the info on their website to reflect this. I have zero confidence in anything you read or they say. Only 1star is for the sales person who called me to save me the trip there in first place.

DO NOT buy a car from this facility. Terrible customer service, the owner will argue with you and put all the blame and curse at you because no one can communicate properly. Sent me to drive 600 miles on a spare tire and did not seem to care about helping you. The price seems like a good deal but there is always something wrong with the vehicle and they charge ridiculous amounts for financing if I could give 0 stars I would.
Do not buy from them . After asking for final price to
contact my bank they added a 33% $11;000 to the
price for taxes and fees on a $33;900 car. Outrageous!

It was a painful experience, almost purchased the vehicle until I heard $1,895 dealer fees and $695 for low Jack, which I said I didn't want on a 2012 vehicle. It was a total of $2,590 in additional fees to drive the price up and buyer gets taxed on those fees as well.
I had to repeatedly call them to make sure I was refunded my deposit, which thankfully I was.
A $24,900 was going to cost 31K?

This is not true. We charged you a $695 doc and tax plus 180 for plates. That not nice to lie in a dealership because we didn’t go down on the price.
The price listed is just to suck you in and then they add
5K on top of that for fees etc So they called me about the
car I was interested in,the salespeople stated the prices
on website do NOT include dealer fees etc When I asked
how much is dealer fees he stated the car I want will cost
me $23800 after their website listed it for $18,900.
Difference of $ nearly $5000. They should explain on
their website that car prices are not accurate and stop
misleading innocent buyers

Tried to rip me off with apr I have over 750 credit they claim only one bank wanted to finance me cap one at 9% I went and got the same loan personally and got 4.3 apr then I had two other banks approv me at 4.4 apr I finally got a honest dealer who wasn’t trying to add their commission onto the banks APR and I got a 3.35 apr for a used auto.. do not finance with these crooks they may also get mad if they know your credit is gd

I bought the car that I requested info about. The car is in great mechanical condition, despite a few minor repairs that needed to be done and some cosmetic stuff that did not take much to fix. The price for the car was unbeatable for the car that I purchased. I was very pleased with the customer service of all the staff that I encountered. Carlos was very friendly and patient with me, never pressured me and was very accommodating. My overall experience was excellent and I would definitely purchase from them again and refer others for sales.

OK. They charge extra for inspection, repair, re-marketing costs. Therefore, the internet price is not the price you will actually get.
The branded dealerships have higher upfront prices, but don't hit you with these nonsense fees. Therefore, you actually come out ahead with them. Reinforces the lesson that used car salesmen are 'used car salesmen".

I left a message through CarGurus. A woman called back and left a
message on my voicemail. I returned her call. I asked her "What kind of
warranty do you offer." Her response "I am not exactly sure." I say "okay.
What are your financing terms?" She says "I am not sure." So I asked her
to call me back when she has the information. She assured me she would
call back within the hour. She never called. So I call her like five hours later
and she tells me the car sold. She goes on to say they just got a very
similar car in that day. She took my cell phone number and told me she
would text me some pictures. It's three days later. Still no pictures. Terrible
customer service! I'd rather pay a little more and deal with a
knowledgeable salesperson. Very unprofessional.

Bought a car from this dealership about 3 months ago. Compared to other dealerships, the price was as displayed online and they played no games and went straight to the point and made me a deal. Great car buying experience. Took care of the car before delivery as promised.
I was ready to buy a car but towards the end of the transaction the finance manager secretly added more chargers making the car more expensive than what we agreed upon. Once i noticed i was being lied to, the finance manager started getting loud and denied everything. Becareful with this dealership, they try to confuse you into making you believe youre getting a low price.... BEWARE

They claimed they would fix the scratches/dents on the car and put new tires on. They tried to give me the car without doing any work to it.
I emailed and spoke to Martin a sales several times. He is was extremely
professional and was Genuine in trying to meet my need. The issue is I reside
five hours away and have to plan my trips. Martin did contact me to inform me
that Rogue had been sold. Due to my schedule, I have not taken a trip to
Square One Auto. Martin suggested I go to their website.

Bare and Switch, I drove 1 hour and called prior to heading to the dealer, sales person said “Yes come in” when I got there she informed me the car was sold then tried to sell me another vehicle, Stay away they have no integrity

Paul was amazing. He help me to learn how to buy a car. He taught me to understand that other dealers don’t tell the truth. There is a dealership in Elizabeth Nj that really didn’t treat me Fair and Paul said don’t worry I won’t treat you the way they did. As the deal was being worked he taught me everything and let me learn that buying a car is really not that bad. I’m a square one lover. This place is great!!!

Bait and switch is their MO! A car that sold over a week ago is still prominently listed as available for sale!! Good thing we researched the dealer and knew to question the TRUE availability of the car I wanted. Zero stars was not an option or else it would be my selection.

Nice Honda CR-V to want buy it but I am NOT paying for dealer fee and document fee totaled is $2,458.00 is not make any sense. I never heard anything like that. They just want huge profit $ for theirself is wrong, deal is off.

Dealership responded, but said car is in high demand and he was not willing to give car-fax of the car. They advertise lower price car to pull the crowd into their dealership, but try to sell other cars that they have in their lot. Overall I am very disappointed.

Although i have not got the car i was looking to find, i have found a better one. Jeffrey one of the sales man was very helpful and patient with me. He had mantain to give great customer service as well. Deffinetly would recommend people this dealership! Plus the staff is very nice.

Not honest people to deal with. Got there to see the car and guess what happened. They said the car has been sold. On Monday they call me to see when I could come to test drive the car. Please don’t trust this dealership.

They get one star because is the lowest I can give. I went and look at a Honda Accord coupe EX-L V6 got approved by the bank. Everything was good to go. I was supposed to go sign the papers on Saturday February the 17 of 2018 and get my car. Ps I gave these people $500 to hold the card until I was able to go sign for the paper because I live and hour away and could get there. Friday night I get a call from the dealer telling me that the car that is supposed to be mine has been sold are you freakin playing with me. The funny thing of the matter is that the car is still available on the website. Now I have no car to go to work on Monday. These people are ridiculous very unprofessional. You don’t do that to people. People DO NOT GO to this dealer unless you want to waste your time and get played

Oleg was not friendly, rude, and very misinformed about the cost of the 2015 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6. He should work on his approach of responding to an email when he disagrees with an offer being made. An outdoor price presented should be countered or simply say the offer is not accepted not "If you can find an exl v6 coupe for that price. Please let me know and I will buy all of them.". A very unprofessional response.
I didn’t like the fact that before i and the sales guy came to an agreement on how much i could spend or if wether i wanted the car or not they DID A HARD PULL/INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT REPORT WITHOUT MY CONSENT!! WITHOUT ME SIGNING ANYTHING. I knew right away because i have the credit Karma app. And it notified me right away. When i asked them right there and then, they said: we don’t know what credit karma is talking about. I just walked out and left. My credit score drop a few points with all three credit reporting agencies.

Contacted them and said the vehicle was available they told me to come in, I came in and they said vehicle was sold the night before. I drove an hour for them to tell me that.

The call I received was swift and efficient regarding the car I gave an inquiry for. Car was in top shape and I scheduled a test drive. The dealership was beautiful with all their top featured vehicles. Overall, amazing customer service and business!

I called twice to confirm a specific car was in stock. I told them I was on my way which was over an hour and a half drive so i wanted to make sure it was available. When i arrived i was told the car was sold earlier that day. Its been 3 weeks and the car is still on their website as available.
Horrible deceitful people.
when I arrived there I saw the car but it had a long dent on the right side so the salesman showed me a 2014 honda accord with 15000 miles. I asked him the price and he said $14900, so I told him it was too much for me, then he said $12900. so I agreed to buy the car but when we reached in front of the manager he said he can't sell the car for less than $15900. I decided to walk away but my daughter loved the car and started crying. he told us that the payments will be $398/mth. I told him that I can only afford 260/mth. we got the vehicle for $264/mth. I was not pleased with the deal but I bought it because it pleased my daughter who I was buying the car for.
I didn't like how they played games with the price and that annoyed me. that is not the way to do business
