Stay away from Southfork if you don’t want to be forced to buy “add ons” that you don’t want. I went in there on 4/29/24 & I was interested in a truck that had for sale. The truck was $50K and I was trading in a paid off vehicle and I was satisfied with the offer that gave me for my truck and I was willing to pay what they were asking for their vehicle. They gave me a drive out price and it included $2K worth of add ons that I was not interested in purchasing.
I told them I would be paying cash for the vehicle minus what they gave me for my trade in and I didn’t want the add ons. They told me that the add ons were not negotiable even if I don’t want them. I immediately walked out the dealership and I bought a truck somewhere else and I will never recommend anyone to the Southfork dealership.

- No loaner, accommodations, or help offered for a
self admitted Dealer's mistake
- To buy the truck at the internet price, a manager
said ("take it or leave it") to purchase the $1700 paint
and front window tint package on an almost BRAND
NEW truck. I expected the truck to look as such
upon delivery, it wasn't.
- "NO BULL PRICING, WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT
YOU PAY", that didnât happen.

I emailed them and asked them to start by contacting me by email. I was later contacted by email on how I wanted to communicate with them. I responded to start with am email. I asked for a summary of what the total cost would be. Never heard from her. The next day I called and spoke with another person and he said he would send it. Never received anything. She then emailed me the next day to see if had made any decision. Really??? The next day I called another dealership and bought it because they were so professional. Plus the price they post does not include all the add ons

Salesman at South Fork and I texted numerous times each. At the time I was looking at a few other Challengers and I gave him specific information about the other car. He spent some time on the phone with me and realized he could not make a better deal. Our interaction was very pleasant and truthful.

My experience: The auto appeared in my Car Gurus feed on a Saturday night. I contacted South Fork Sunday morning through Car Gurus and they responded Sunday night, soliciting an appointment for the next day. I told them between 4PM and 4:30PM since I work and couldn't make it there sooner in the day. I also told them I wanted to buy cash. We settled on 4:15PM. The next day, Monday, I was in contact with them throughout the day by both text message and phone contact with their scheduler, confirming my 4:15PM appointment. The last confirming text message was at 3:15PM. I responded that I would be there.
I arrived on time and was told that the car had been sold that morning.
How many stars would you give for that kind of treatment?
The dealer was initially helpful and told me we had worked out a deal with the bank, but I just needed to add my husband’s information to justify two vehicle loans. His information was submitted and that was the end of the conversation. It’s been over a week with no further communication. I went and bought a vehicle elsewhere.

Worst experience I’ve had with a dealer so far. The price for a 2017 Nissan Murano is listed on CarGurus and on the dealer website as $22,686. When I went to the dealer they added almost $3,500 in ridiculous dealer fees. Not TT&L, just made up fees like nitrogen in the tires, a spray on shield that supposedly protects the exterior & interior of the vehicle. They claim with this spray any chip or damage to exterior paint they will fix. The funny thing is the vehicle they were trying to sell had a few chips and slight damage to the paint already. You are sitting there trying to sell me on this shield guard you sprayed on and how you will repair any chip or damage to the paint, but you couldn’t fix the exiting chips and damage to the paint that was already on there. It was hard to sit there with a straight face as they tried to insult my intelligence with these ridiculous extra fees and their asinine explanation as to why they’re assessing these extra fees on the top of the listed price.

These are flat out the most helpful and caring people ever at a dealership. The truck that I wanted to buy had been sold but a beautiful black truck with the exact features I wanted was available. I am now the proud owner of that truck and couldn’t be happier. The staff is very attentive without being overbearing or pushy and kept me in the loop during the whole process.
I spoke with Michael about the Challenger they had advertised and he told me it wasn't for sale because they were using it for a service loaner. Yet, I continued to receive emails wanting to know if I was still interested and showing the car available and for sale. I even received an email from the General Sales Manager wondering why I hadn't come by for a test drive. Definitely a strange experience!

The dealership did reach out to me after seeing my previous review and agreed to take a look at the concerns I had with the purchased vehicle including a discounted price
on the potential repairs. I have already addressed most of the issues myself with the exception of the transmission which should be covered with the lifetime powertrain
warranty as long as I stay within their guidelines to remain eligible for the coverage. I'm glad that they did reach out to me to address my concerns!
HORRIBLE! My son found a car he liked priced at 15,386. I understand there is a right up for tax, title, etc. He sat down to talk what the walk out cost would be. He was quoted $19,000. He asked is that was the lowest they would go and was told $18,500 would be the lowest. So the car went up 3100 from advertised price. He went to another dealership that night saw a car similar and walked out for 16000

I was in contact with 3 different people from this dealership and completely Shocked and disappointed that 2 of the 3 didn't contact me back like they said they would and they low balled me on my trade in. I was Super interested in purchasing a truck however I wasnt going to drive 3 hours just for them to not give my what my trade in is worth. Absolute disastrous experience. Promised to lower the price and lured me all the way out to Manvel driving 2 hours back and forth only to find out the buying price is now 4K more than what is
advertised. Yes I know there are taxes and fees but even with that, they added 2500 additional fees. This is unacceptable to make someone go out of the house during a global pandemic only
to deceive them with dealers and doc fees which are absolutely not necessary. I regret showing up there. Please save yourself some time and do not visit this dealership. They are just like other
dealerships big time liars. They say it doesn't cost anything to get the lifetime warranty well they wanted to charge 2500 dollars so that's not true either. I tried my best to work with them but
they are not cooperative and will just not care for you as a customer.

They will add extra packages! They were very helpful and responsive, but when I told them I don’t live on the coast and don’t need their gulf coast protection plan and I didn’t want to pay for it, they stopped communicating until the very last day of the month, by then it was too late. They could’ve had the sale but they love their warranty packages!

Great customer service!
After explaining to Patrick Reilly that I was driving 95 miles to look at the truck and
it was the only one in their inventory I was interested in , I asked to be called at any
time during my trip if it looked like the truck was going to sell. This would save me both
some mileage and time. I know things happen but when I got there and learned the truck
had just been sold I was pretty disappointed in the dealership. I don't know if the truck had just been sold or it was A "Bait and Switch". I do know I was never contacted on my way to the dealership and when I got there Mr. Reilly never showed his face and the sales rep offered to show me other trucks in their inventory. This might have been a one off, but I would never recommend them.

We are definitely sorry that this vehicle sold just before you arrived. We definitely don't participate in bait and switch, and always try to notify our customers when a vehicle sells prior to them stopping by. In this instance it was a case of bad timing as the vehicle sold literally moments before you arrived. Unfortunately I was not notified that the vehicle had sold until after you had left already, or I would have come out to meet you in person or called to save you the trip.
While I know it won't make up the time you spent driving here and back home, I would be willing to compensate

Engine was bad , they had a chevy truck that was in good condition . I decided on buying trusted them on the purchase price read over the contract the next day and was beat for an extra 700 dollars , will not see them again...

high roof extended cargo van and they reached out to me and
told me about a Huge clearance event. I told them I'm a over the
road trucker and was not in town at this time, they told me just let
them know when I'm in town and to stop on in at the dealership, I
look forward to going to this dealership and hopefully get
a ProMaster 3500 high roof extended cargo van.

Was told by dealer manager that truck would be ready for a test
drive when I arrived after a call. After driving 45 mins to get to
dealer. Waited around for 30 on the truck to be brought up. We
were told after this wait that the truck was not even there and was
being test driven by someone else who took it home. We were
called the next day and told that the truck was being brought back
to the dealer and we could come test drive it. Dealer called to verify
the truck was on site and ready for me to test drive so I told them I's
be there in 45 mins. Again traveled 45 mins to dealer, the truck was
there, but was told after I got there that the truck was already sold,
they said it sold on during my 45 min commute to the dealer. We
left in disgust after a tremendous waste of time. I do not
recommend this dealer to anyone.
Buyer Beware! The listed Car Guru price doesn’t reflect the drive out price. This Dealership adds $2000-3000 in “junk fees and dealer service charges”. South Fork intentionally puts an artificial low CarGuru price and then after the test drive and agreeing to the Car Guru price, they spring the fees and justifications of the surprise fees on the CarGuru fine print at the very bottom of ad next to the copyright notifications. This was followed up with stories of non negotiable fees, value of fees, discounts of the non negotiable fees to “earn your business “and a lecture on the definition of bait and switch. Sorry, but I don’t see value in Nitrogen filled tires, protective coatings, tinted windows, and lifetime drivetrain warranty. Had South Fork disclosed the fees up front, I would not have wasted two hours of time. Salesperson knew absolutely nothing about the car, and the Store Director is completely sold on the value of the extra fees.

I talked to a rep the night before I went t see the car. I even received a voicemail that day asking if I needed directions. When I arrived no one was available to help me. A new manager informed me twenty minutes later that the vehicle was loaned out to a service customer. I totally wasted my time!!
This dealer is adding 2000 to 3000 in extra fees to every vehicle they sell. They call it an addendum, but it’s a scam. Most dealers do not do this. So what ever price you agree on go ahead and add another 2 to 3 grand in made up fees. This is a really shady business scam. Most other dealers only charge tax title and license and that is all this dealership should be charging. Most dealers do not charge this made up fee scheme so just take your business to an honest dealership. It is a shame that a dealer in a nice community like Pearland is scamming it’s own community. The owner tried justifying their scam but I wasn’t interested in hearing their excuses.
I had a good experience. I was interested in a car and mentioned that it was a long drive for me to see the car. The dealer made sure I knew the car I was interested in was a manual and not an automatic to make sure I still wanted to come. Since I want an automatic they saved me a trip. Thanks!
Terrible. Misrepresented in advertisement. Took three days of emails to get pics of a different vehicle than inquired about. Finally told me this advertisement is a fleet price for 500 trucks. Stay away is my recommendation

dealer was quick to respond & the information on the truck was accurate & helpful. set the appointment & got my first look at the truck, the staff answered questions & made follow up calls to check on the experience, i would recommend this dealership & go back again if i need another truck in the future
Dealership quick to respond to email about truck listed. Truck listing was exact. Truck clean but on rack so they quickly got it ready for test drive. Dealership was very friendly and even turned on a kids show for my girls, which they loved. I would definitely recommend this dealership to my family and friends. We would definitely drive 45 minutes to a hour again for them.

I did my research. Contacted them on the phone with the car I wanted.
Asked a couple of POINTED questions to nail them down before I showed
up. Showed up...but only had 20 minutes for a quick test drive before a
doctor's appointment! I think that is a GREAT bargaining technique! I
knew the price was good because...I DID MY RESEARCH. This wasn't
the first dealership I visited...I DID MY RESEARCH. I liked Bobby P. the
salesman a lot. Seemed very honest and straightforward. Didn't try to sell
me up on a lot of garbage like other dealerships. Of course the finance
guy has a slick presentation for add on insurance policies. If you like those
kind of protections, then they have pretty good stuff. I NEVER add on
insurance when I buy stuff. Never pays off for me because I take good
care of my stuff. I told him no and he said you don't want any of them? I
said no. He turned off the presentation and we filled out the paperwork.
DO YOUR RESEARCH if you want a 5 star experience!
i asked some direct questions and did not get answer for any of them, just same link that you see on line with no explanations. The manager did fallow up but i was done with them with the step around answering questions I asked. i got done wrong with last dealer i dealt with last time and got no patience for liars.

The best car buying experience I've had in a really long time. I got the car I
wanted at the right price with no hassles. The whole experience was great,
from making the deal to taking care of the paperwork as well as the detailing
and pickup. Friendly, fast and courteous all the way through to the end. I will

Brand new dealership, and it felt like it. I went there to look at a vehicle they
had on their website for sale. I contacted them dealership and set up an
appointment to look at the vehicle and test drive it. I happened to be running
about an hour late to the appointment but all was forgiven once i arrived. I
was greeted by a younger salesmen who i had already to in regards to the
vehicle.
From the start of me asking about the vehicle I had come to see, they tried
to get me into another vehicle. After an Hour of wasting my time, they tell me
the vehicle needs work ETC and that they were going to send it to the
auction. My question was why would you put the vehicle on your website to
sell it AND schedule me to come in to look at said vehicle for a test
drive??!?!?!
I was not happy with my experience at this dealership. Their customer
service needs A LOT OF WORK. It felt like they were trying to "sell" me
anything i would say yes to. I get it that they have a job to do which is sell
cars........but i had a terrible experience here. I left not buying a car and felt
as though i wasted my time. Hopefully no one else has to deal with the same
experience.

The car was pricedoing at $22500, they charged me 24000 saying that I had to pay for the protection coating on the car and fabric. That I never asked for! But the sales manager said it's already on the car, I told him that should of already been part of the price! . Long sorry short, the finance manager (Alex) is the only reason why I brought the car he took the $2000 of the price. Everyone else there made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. Be careful the sales finance team will try to rip you off! !!!!!

Wonderful communications. Luis Diaz has answered every email and then some. Also go a note from one of the owners. Will call them when I get back in town from a 2 week trip if car is still available to see if we can make the final deal. This is the kind of dealer online that understands the value of communications. If the car is available when I get back I will make every attempt to buy the car from them. They have been that good.
