I have to say that salesperson Mike Pupek was a bull dog. He tried very hard for us to make a deal. We were very close. We unfortunately could not get it done. With that being said, he tried very hard. I appreciate his effort!!! Please do not be afraid to contact them!

Drove 1.5 hours to dealership and arrived about an hour+ before closing. Had to locate a salesperson, who did not seem very interested in selling a car. The Jeep we wanted to test drive had a dead battery. The sales people jump started the Jeep while disparaging the yard guys who were supposed to handle such matters. We decided not to take the car out due to the run down battery and went inside to find the salesperson. (We don't know his name because he never introduced himself.) There was no real interest in discussing pricing or other vehicle options, so we left. Perhaps it was just bad timing on our part.

The dealer behaved like all the others I have encountered using the same tired cookie cutter emails to respond to inquiries but never actually helping me... To add insult to injury they dropped the price after a few days & eventually contacting me as if I didn't already waste enough time & energy.

Pros - Salesman was great and informative. Buying process was easy. Cons .. Listing color of truck and some features were not accurate (alittle missleadimg) there was not remote starter nor Bluetooth capable. Finally the color of the truck is not blue, its black with small purple & blue metallic

If I could give a zero I absolutely would. I contacted this dealer and set up an appt to come and see 1 particular suv. I spoke with the same sales person multiple times through email and by phone. When we got there he acted annoyed and had no idea what suv I wanted to see. After a lot of confusion, he gave us the key to go and look at the suv and didnt bother coming out with us. When we came back in we overheard him talking to the people he was helping before us about the SUV we wanted...saying to bring in their trade next week when they are ready to purchase! Then he proceeded to offer us 5k below kkb value probably knowing it would deter us from buying! Very rude!

I drove from Pgh to this dealership for a specific car in mind. This dealership is in the middle of nowhere .... I think this is why they price cars the way they do. Jamie was my saleswoman and was very patient with me. Everyone there was very nice. You have to make a profit and as a salesperson at a different dealership, I get it. I was slightly disappointed in the way the car looked when I got there... I think the detail dept could use some better tools. They were quick and eager to assist in touching up a scratch for me on the pre owned vehicle I ended up purchasing which was much appreciated. I called ahead and they had the paperwork ready to go after my test drive. Jamie even arranged my rental car to go back and provided good customer service. This dealership is no fancy and frilly type of establishment but they work with what they have and offer assistance when it is needed. If i could give a zero i would. Had a 2015 4runner on trade for which i received $28,500 from an awesome smaller dealer in greensburg. Solomon offered me $24,000 and basically made it known negotiating with me was not worth the trouble. Left feeling humiliated and very offended. Stuck up good old boys.

Ignorant and not helpful at all. When I began the process with them I told them I had my own financing but am willing to see what they had to offer and they seemed like they didn’t want bothered after that. They acted like they didn’t want my business because they weren’t going to make the money off of the loan. Would not recommend dealing with them.

very pushy, still so (bought another car from another dealer)... lied to me as well about credit inquiry. went outside of their own system with my information to contact banks... very sketchy, very unprofessional. how they are still in this industry in this day and age, i dont know (maybe theyre struggling and thats why they were pushy)

Will not be going back.. Salesmen were nice.. Finance Manager wasn't pleasant. When I drove there that took me two and half hours.. the truck that I wanted did not start, because it sat on there lot for over 90 days.. didn't want to work with me on my trade.. and said i needed better credit.. thanks for letting me know what i needed to work on... but I would never by a vehicle from them

The salesman called me the next morning said it was still available. I drive an hour and half away, just for another salesman to tell me it sold the day before. The salesman did try and find me another vehicle but didnt fund anything I liked.

Car was not in the condition listed. Once I started asking the sales associate questions, immediately turned into sleazy car salesman. After seeing rust damage and suspension issues, I tried to negotiate price. He got defensive and wouldn't budge. No big deal, we left, and due to ignorance of the issues with the listed car, they let a cash buyer walk out the door. My wife and I always show up in t shirts and flip flops to see salesmen judge based on appearance...didn't even acknowledge my wife and aid she should be driving a minivan. Completely disrespectful! Don't bother shopping here.

Drove an hour and a half from West Virginia to look at a truck. Pored the rain down, got to the dealership, went inside and inquired about a truck they had on Gurus.com, no picture of it, sales rep wasn't sure if they even had the truck. Sales rep was a nice guy but when we started talking numbers he was all over the place. First he tells me what my truck is worth, I tell him how much I'm willing to pay a month, he says no way it will work. The price on my truck never went up and he kind of came down on his saying even if he knocked a $1000 off we would be to far apart.. Told me he could do the deal for a higher payment, I refused and started to leave, called the wife and talked to her and she said do it so I went back in and told him I would do it for the monthly amount he had quoted me, then he changed it saying he couldn't do it for that payment. I wasted 3 hours driving and getting soaked looking at a truck they apparently didn't want to sell me.. Typical deal. Give us your truck for nothing, we will turn around and resell it for a big profit and not even offer to come down on there price. My wife use to work at a new car dealership and they automatically mark them up $3000 over sticker! I'm not against a man making a dollar but why try and screw ya in the process? Inquired about other trucks I was interested in never heard back from them and the trucks sold.. Maybe you that's just haow it works in Pa!

Very accommodating and helpful salesman. Tried to agree on a price. They had just received 15 or so of the car I was interested in but we could not strike a deal. Enjoyed my experience.

Not a fan of being told on the website that it's 4 wheel drive only to find out it's only front wheel drive. But they did do their job well in the customer service department. They were quick to contact me and also when I found out it wasn't the exact car I wanted. They didn't hound me with a million phone calls like other dealerships do. I like that. Will definitely consider buying a vehicle from this dealership in the future.

Had an agreement with a salesman, he told me to come see the car (an hour drive) and he told me he couldn't do what we had agreed upon. Also told the salesman when to expect me. He was inattentive, dismissive, and callous. He was everything you'd expect it of a stereotypical snake oil car salesman.

They told me this Ram wouldn't be finished detailed till Mon. & drove out to dealer on Sat. to find out it was sold ! no calls ! to busy to call or post sold on Car Trader or even their on site !!!

My son was looking at buying his first new vechile at 25 years old. We drove over 2 hours to dealership looking for a white 2016 Altitude. I happen to be on vacation with my wife when I found an Altitude at Solomon's, ( on cargurus.com)Friday afternoon about 2 pm. Starting asking salesman questions, with poor reception on my cell phone at campground we where staying, then had to relay answers to my son, which was 70 miles away north of Interstate 80. In the mist of phone tag, there was confusion on our part whether a 2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude was a white or 2015 Limited was available in Brownsville Pa, about 150 miles south of us. I should of picked up on conversation Friday Afternoon, when I called dealership and was excited about our possible find in a 2015 White Altitude .My son was once already promised at another dealership a week before, but at last minute, Jeep was unavailable to pick up in Ohio due to dealership not taking pic of Jeep off Cargurus.com,( 2 weeks after it sold) which ended up with my son, going to the bank, reporting VIN to his car insurance ad new vechile, and being disappointed to start the process all over again. In my excitement talking to Solomon, car salesman told me I needed to calm down when I began to tell him how excited we where to find another 2015 Altitude , but I overlooked his statement. When my son and I called back to dealership at 3 pm Friday, we got answering machine from dealership that they just closed. We where both unaware of this 15 min prior dealing with questions on jeep over phone from both of us from two different locations. There was confusion, if Solomon had a 2015 Altitude or Limited available. So, before Leaving my vacation early, I made 3 calls to Solomon on phone, leaving one message as"urgent", if they could call me back on if Jeep Altitude was white. On 3nd call, I repeated message, please call me back, I am leaving my vacation early Monday morning to make aragements to drive over 150 miles to be there at 9 am Monday morning, if they had correct Jeep. Although reception was poor at my location, which caused phone tags on Friday, I never received a call back. I was able to drive to a nearby location to go online to look on their website for jeep, here, I was asked by Internet consultant on site if I needed help. I explained whole ordeal to her, and she said she would pass message onto salesman I had been dealing with for him to call me before Monday Morning. I never received a call, so I met up with my son on Monday morning and took off for our rode trip to Brownsville. We called on the way down before 9 am to make sure jeep was available and we where told salesman would be in shortly before 9 am, by this time, we had already drove 100 miles. Due to the fact, they would of preferred money down on Jeep over the phone on Friday, and we didn't follow through because a) they had closed without our knowledge Friday when I told them I would be calling them right back and B) we didn't but a deposit down, we where still hoping for the best Salesman called me back at 9 am and said they had gray Jeep not White in Altitude, but did have a Limited at another dealership nearby, so we decided to drive another 20 minutes to looked them over. At this point, call it bad timing, bad reception at campground, or whatever, I take the blame for not having colors correct on Jeeps, but in my opinion, after many calls, and then talking to Internet Sales rep over weekend, a return call would of been professional. We arrive at Solomon, meet salesman, take jeep for ride, then returning, he ask if there was anything he could do for us to buy a Jeep today. I Asked him if he could run some figures on both jeeps on his best deal. Then we get his answer, "I could spend all morning with you running figures on two jeeps, just tell me the one you want, and I will do that". This is when I asked him, "isn't it your job to do this? We left shortly afterwords. Overall, it was far from my best experience buying a vechile. Ironically , back in 2002, My wife and I where looking for a specific Town and County that a local dealership in our town had just sold. That was about the time when the internet became useful to type into Google what you where looking for, and it would find it. Back then, the only place there was another one just like the one we wanted, was at Solomon. We drove the 2 hour drive, bought the Van, and ended up being one of the best vechile I ever bought. Moving on ! We found my son the Jeep he wanted in Ohio this week, other than the 4 hour drive to get there, all went well, this dealership treated him with respect and dignity, and he bought the Jeep of his dreams.

My husband and I made an apt to see a specific car. The original sales rep was not available that day, but he made arrangements for another rep to take care of us. The new rep said he would have the car pulled up front and ready. When we arrived the car was buried in the front 3 rows deep. After driving to PA for over an hour and twenty minutes from OH, we had to wait and then when the rep went to get the tag for us to test drive, (after waiting outside for him) he informed us that we could not afford the used car and that we SHOULD NOT drive it!!!!!! This is the judgement that he physically made from us when we arrived in our trade. He said that we just needed to go inside and sit down! At that point, I was personally offended and very angry. I literally had to argue with him to test drive the car. Yes, after making an apt. and traveling from over an hour away! Once we were PERMITTED to test drive the used car, the rep asked what my husband did for a living. The sales rep seemed to change his rude attitude towards us after my husband answered. When we arrived back to the lot, the rep took us inside and tried then to close the deal. I found this extremely amusing since he had insulted us and had refused to let us drive the car just 25 minutes before. He also refused to give us an amount for our trade the entire time we were there!! To add to our experience, there were 3 other reps/ employees in the showroom during our time there. Not one acknowledged our existence with eye contact or even a "hello". They literally had there backs turned to us. The original rep contacted on the phone did apologize for our experience via email. We will not return to Solomon again!!! We purchased our new vehicle from a small lot in Glen Shaw PA one week ago.
