It was such a great experience. She communicated consistently and answered my questions thoroughly days before my purchase. The car was exactly as advertised and practically new. No bait and switch. My customer service experience was warm and engaging. Great place and great people to find your next vehicle!
Worst customer service ever!! They sold the car I
was trying to buy while being in the sales process
with me. After couple hours of being dealing and
doing everything with the sales person the manager
sold the car claiming he was already loosing money
on it but didnâÂÂt inform me or anything like that
which
I think itâÂÂs the most unprofessional experience
IâÂÂve
deal with. Definitely would not recommend this
place.
Drove an hour to the dealership after being told it was available. I test drive the vehicle and like it. When getting to the numbers, I notice the price is higher than what I saw on CarGurus. They had recently increased the pricing, but CarGurus had a delay. I wanted them to honor the pricing and remove the $500 window tint and $3000 "Platinum Protection Package" charges on this USED vehicle, since I was just coming to pay the price on the website + TTL. It being the last day of the month, they claimed they could work with me by reducing the $3000 package to wholesale pricing.. which wasn't the wholesale price. I came to a number after TTL and they said they would call if their manager accepts it. Couple days pass and I get a notification that the price has decreased to BELOW what I asked. So I text my salesman immediately, no response. Sold by Amy to another client even though they said they would contact me about the deal. $34K vs $31.8K for someone else.

Car was sold before my appointment and they didn’t notify me. I understand this happens but when you make an appointment to look at a specific vehicle and that vehicle sales before you get there a courtesy call would have been nice.

Highly recommend dealer
Called and spoke to a salesman who sent
me an email on out the door pricing on the
car as well as the vehicle report.
I emailed him back to discuss the price and
he never responded to me again.

The internet salesperson contacted me immediately. She took my trade info and
proceeded to not return my calls for three days. Finally called me Friday evening at which
time the vehicle that I was interested in was sold. End of story.

My sales guy did not know anything about the truck or the electronics package. Did not sit with us or talk with us at all. He acted like we where bothering him to buy this truck.
Now the sales manager and finance department where great easy to talk to and treated us like valuable customers. Overall I would never use the same sales guy again. I would buy another truck from Ron Carter.

This dealer is not internet sale friendly, even during these pandemic times. My wife and I could not purchase a vehicle after multiple attempts on offering a sight unseen purchase. Andy the used cars sales manager would not give me the district managers name and information. He would only give me his equal partner information. We will be filling a better business bureau after they ran out credit report three times and made empty promise of service. Save your time and look elsewhere.

Pleasant experience we bought a Toyota Highlander
hybred from them. Really like the car.
Dealership was great! Vanessa responded immediately to my inquiry so I called her we made an appointment for noon that very same day. We drove 45 miles down to Alvin and met up with Steve Wiese. We are attempting to negotiate with them about this car ad soon as they decide about serious issues that need to be fixed on the car... Sure hope we can get it!

Price changed when we got to the dealership. Almost double advertised price on here. Then said we will honor that price but added other fees that brought price right back up almost to the double advertised price

They seem to be very pleasant and helpful at the beginning. There was a slight mixup on some photos to be sent, but very apologetic after reconnecting. Found a car in between time. Would deal with Ron Carter, if had the chance again.
I communicated by email with a salesperson about price, financing, etc. I finally was told what the Sales Manager's final out-the-door price was, I scheduled a visit to look at the car on a Saturday. At the dealership, I looked at the car and took it for a test drive. Afterwards, the salesperson and I discussed pricing. I asked to speak to the person that I was communicating with through emails. I was told that they were not working today. Shortly, a "Sales Manger" showed up with a worksheet which was around $981 more than the email out-the-door price that was sent to me. I told the Sales Manger about the email out-the door offer that I received. The Sales Manager said that they couldn't accept that offer because they would be losing money on the car. As I Was Walking Out the Door, the Sales Manager was following me asking me if I would pay the email out-the-door price? I said No Thanks, I don't want to do business with you.

Good dealership worked with me to get the vehicle I wanted
Interested in an F350 at $51999. After a
week or so of offers mngt raises price to
$53999. I said that's rediculas, you dont
raise the price on a possible buyer. Then
he raised it to $56999. All with a week
went up $5000. I dont know if it's their
idiot mngt or entire dealership but I will
never again deal with Ron Carter Alvin. I
had heard they were better but not 3 hr
drive with this current mngt. Shop at your
own risk.
Plenty more dealers available and didnt
need their financial assistance. Use my
credit union. Buy somewhere.

Best dealership we've ever dealt with! Their vehicles are reasonably priced and they valued our trade-in exceptionally well. Veronica Landin was a great sales professional who communicated with us very well and made our trade-in a convenient and smooth process. Joe from financing took care of us electronically and over the phone which made our actual trade-in process less than an hour including the test drive! We will definitely consider Ron Carter the next time we need to purchase again!

Great Experience!
From the minute I walked in the team at Ron Carter in Alvin was very friendly,
professional and knowledgeable.
I came in for an almost new Jeep Cherokee I found online. The appointment
set up was easy, the negotiation smooth and in my favor and the paper
work/buying process very efficient and easy. I like to point out that especially
the sales man Cole Zayas did a great job in guiding me through the whole
process. Thanks also to manager Santos Cabrera, who made the deal
happen for me. Still can't believe that buying this car was so much fun and a
great experience. Thanks again to everybody involved!

Poor response, canned answers lead to vehicle being sold out
from under me. They are not capable of providing you with timely
and honest answers to your questions. One star or less. This
shows two stars for some reason. Even worked with a manager
still no help. Not able to work with an educated buyer. Vehicle still
shows as avaible on CG. Look elsewhere.

I had an awful experience dealing with these people. They give terrible service and I experienced first hand what people say about car salesmen. They ONLY want to sell you a car and from then on you're on your own. Don't even try and go back for anything else because they will give the worst possible treatment. This dealer has the most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. When you are making such a big investment you should definitely find someone who is really willing to help you and make you feel comfortable about the purchase, and you will NOT find this at this dealer. You are only a number!
