Goof experience. Car was clean on inside and outside and s good price, but the engine compartment was left dirty with corrosion on both battery terminals so made me wonder if they actually serviced car like told.
Should be common practice to clean engine compartment just like cleaning your carpet trying to sell your house . Perception is reality

I was looking at a ford raptor 2011. Austin was very professional and went the extra mile to help me with photos ect.. I thought the price was a little too high and they wouldn’t move, however they have top notch customer service here 5 STARS

I talked with the dealer. I was working the weekend a d was waiting on the car to be inspected. I was supposed to get pictures from under the car during inspection. I was told the car was not on the lot on display so no rush. We talked about shipping as an option for getting the car to me. After not hearing back, or receiving puctures, i searched for the add again. "No longer available" online. I emailed the dealer for confirmation, nothing. Three emails and five days later, I finally received a reply. Car sold, cash buyer. I was also a cash buyer, but I live six hours away. I was relying on dealer info to finish my deal. I've always been told, don't trust a car sales man.

Sold before it could be inspected. Buyer purchased as-is on the spot because it was such a great deal. Our #1 complaint has always been that our cars sell way too fast. We price our cars to move quickly and sell them to people who are ready to buy. Gotta act fast on a hot car like this red Corvette priced well below market value! Austin was really good to work with. Although we weren’t able to complete a deal (I found a Lincoln MKX close to home). The small family dealership was VERY interested in making me feel comfortable and not just seem like just another guy. I appreciate the way that they handled the business.

Great dealership to work with. I was buying a vehicle from out of state, which meant a lot of on going communication between Aaron and myself. He provided pictures and video to help me decide if I liked the car. After agreeing this car was for me. Redwood went the next step above and beyond. They offered to drop/off and pick up (free of charge) to Mitch Smith Auto Service for a pre-purchase inspection ($61.00). Mitch Smith Auto Service did a great job in providing me with a detailed inspection on my car. They to were great to work with. I highly recommend a pre-purchase inspection.
Once the car pass it's inspection with flying colors. We agreed on a purchase price and a pick up date. When I arrived at the dealership everyone was extremely nice and the car was washed/cleaned and ready to go. They appreciated my business and I appreciated their honesty and ability to go the extra mile with my purchase. Both Aaron and Austin were great to work with.

Contacted dealer via phone to inform them I was coming to test drive the car. Showed up and everything was good until I started driving the car. Got off the lot and noticed the gas was all the way on E and light was on. Turned around to dealership so we could get company card to fill up at a gas station, as we arrived at the gas station the car was so low it almost died in the lot. Once we filled up the car was idling really rough to the point where I didn’t want to drive it. Turned and went back to the dealer and left the car there. Bad dealership experience. You think if you call ahead to test drive a car, they would at least check if it has gas.

I am saddened to hear about this experience. While we try very hard to be prepared for appointments, we are a very small family store...we have only 5 total employees. We sell the same amount of cars as franchise dealerships with 30+ employees. The day you came we had been unexpectedly busy and we were not prepared when you arrived. Your arrival followed another appointment on the same vehicle. It looks like the customers who test drove before you returned it with little to no gas. Great experience from start to finish!!! Austin Beaver was who contacted me and was excellent. Answered all my questions about the vehicle and gave me a fair and upfront price. I live in the Chicagoland area and this dealer was about a 3.5 hour drive for me. So again, Austin answered all my questions and I was confident in driving down and picking up the car.
When I arrived, I was greeted by Aaron, Austin's brother, he was fantastic as well. Handed me the key for the test drive. I looked over the vehicle and is exactly what I expected. Did the paperwork in about 15-20 minutes and we were out the door. This is how a perfect car purchasing experience should be.
Redwood Auto is a small business and I'm proud to be able to support, especially in these times. It was definitely worth the drive to find the perfect car for my son. If you're in the market for a quality used vehicle, I suggest checking this place out.
