They told me my credit wasn’t going to be ran if I put in an application. They then ran my credit without informing me first and started the process as if I had made a decision to purchase the car. I felt they didn’t help me as a first time buyer and just wanted the sale. I found several cars similar/better for a better price. They never responded when I approached them with the issue of running my credit without permission.
My overall experience with this dealership was amazing. They were very professional and able to do business with me
being from a different state. John Alford was great as my sales person hoping to do more business with him soon. Chris
Davenport was the previous owner of the vehicle and also John's manager. He was very helpful, extremely happy he took
great care of the vehicle. Chris Mitchell handle the financing side of things even though I was already pre-approved he was
extremely helpful in working with me to get the payments I was looking for. Could not have ask for a better first time buying
experience! Their communication was fantastic, I'm still able to contact John about anything even after the purchase. The
listing was accurate and the vehicle was ready for a test drive when I arrived at their brand new dealership. John made sure
they gave the vehicle a wash before I left after the test drive which was awesome! I would recommend this dealership to
everyone I know!

Sale man very knowledgeable of the car we were interested
in. The presentation of the car was excellent.
Terrible!!!..place to buy a car. I drove over an hour to get to the dealership after sales person told me the vehicle was there and he had keys. Once I arrived no salesman or vehicle. Next salesman Tyrone appears to be helpful at first..as he shows me the bait and switch. After driving a few trade ins we land on the vehicle he could make the most on. We went home to think it over. The next day we return for financing where they try to force a warranty on us. Saying that the Lender demanding we buy warranty to get approval. This is an illegal practice in car dealerships. We question finance on this. Basically said take it or leave it. I ask to see the approval with it in writing on warranty he said NO!..Good night!. Tyrone defended but admitted didn't need to take warranty. We bought a 2020 Alfa Romeo but not from Principal. One of the worst experience ever. Stay clear

Dealer response to my inquiry was prompt. The listed description of the vehicle accurately reflected the condition of the vehicle
specifically its history. The car was clean and available for test drive and Sales Associate, Stevie, answered all questions asked as a
true VW sales professional. I was so moved by the fact he followed up with a call to ensure everything was ok after I took possession
of the car that I would definitely recommend this dealer and Sales Associate to my friends.

I had an appointment to test drive a 2016 4Runner... When I made it to the dealership, they brought me a different car (Porsche Macan) stating that this what it’s shown in the system, which is not true because I spoke to the agent (Mike) before I go there and he confirmed it was for the 4Runner.
He went back to bring the key for the 4Runner and came back to tell me that the vehicle just got sold this morning!!! Disappointed.
Never going back to this dealership again.

They were a little slow in contacting me. Probably due to the fact that the vehicle was very new to the company. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, knowledgeable and seemed interested in getting me financed. I still have yet to see the vehicle due to the fact that I'm currently without a vehicle.
Price mentioned on the posit was $23,700. When I went there they add $6,500 service charges and destination fee which is not mentioned in the add.

DOWN ) but when they ran my credit report, I barley got a text message....maybe thats just Volkswagon

I purchased this car on Monday and took possession of it on Saturday after the emission updates were done and the AC was fixed. The sales staff was great and the service department worked late Friday to fix the AC so I could pick it up on Saturday.

Too Manny thing with used cars, so they want to sale a car and no fix any car problems like bad brakes, damages in paint and from $ 12,492.00 car price went to $18,950.00 promise no down payment and low interes and too Manny things they hidden to costumers, like miles on the car said 172 and they said it's 93, 959 miles but I never saw it the real number, looks to me they are cheaters.

Yes contact was made an a appointment was made I wasted half my day off waiting for this appointment only to get there and was told told the car was sold and hadn’t been on the lot for two days needless to say I was not very happy with this dealership at this point . But they were very happy to show me something else that was way more expensive that I was not interested in . Just so happens at the same time my wife had booked another appointment to see a different car there and was told the same thing we will never go back to this dealership again

The sales representative quickly responded quickly to my inquiry. Even though we didn't like the used car (smoke scent) we didn't leave without a new car. Of course they were quick making a sale, but they could have done a better job preparing the car for pickup (better detailing and actually attach a temporary license plate).

I have been in internet car sales for 15 years. I explained that in my message first thing. Then I asked 3 specific, easy to answer
questions and told them their answers would not scare me. I also mentioned I have a trade. The only response I got was "when
can you come in?", albeit with many pleasantries added in the reply. I know the car business. I know getting someone in the
dealership is important. However, to ignore my questions completely and not even ask me what my trade was is not how internet
car sales works. I understand the old-school approach, but the old school is dead. I just needed 3 basic questions answered
before I spent 2 hours of my life being wrangled at the lot. I dropped in just to take a look at a car at Metro 6 months ago and lost
2 hours of my life, so I know what to expect.
Having said all of that, they were polite and courteous and didn't feel like they were trying to take advantage of me in any way.
They just need to be willing to communicate online.

Showed up to test drive the car on the website only to find the dealer has listed this car and hasn't done the 2 stage diesel-gate fix yet.
Waited about 30 minutes for the salesperson to show up, then another 20 minutes only to be told I can't drive the car, but can look at it
while it was running. I told the salesperson no, I would like to test drive the vehicle so I can see if there are any mechanical issues with it
seeing as the car is at least 4 years old. I asked if there were any fixed cars on the lot that were similar to this 2014 model with low miles, to
which they returned with the keys for a bunch of 2015 model which only require stage 1 fix, all listing for 3-4k more with easily double the
miles of the car I was interested in. Salesperson told me they would call me on Monday this week and let me know if the car I originally
wanted to see was fixed or not. I have yet to receive a call.

I really feel disappointed. I was told the vehicle was sold and they had two more. When I got there I did not see any Beetles but new Beetles and we spoke as if I never shared my interest. So, I drove from Mansfield, TX to copy my ID. The sale person was polite but the connection outside of texting was off. I guess once you come in thats all that matter because the options are open. There was nothing to offer me after I shared my interest prior to arriving. I left feeling confuse.

This just happened less than 10 minutes ago. We went there to the dealership in Metro Volkswagen pre-owned and I talked to Jane as well as with John about our interest in a 2015 Toyota Sienna SE. As we talked about it we had agreed on a price that meets our financing approval. However as we were about to purchase the van and get into the paperwork John changed his mind and said that this price that we had talked about was never agreed upon and that this was way below the sale price that they were selling the car. Because of this experience I don't think these guys can be trusted anymore. If Only They would have told us ahead of time before we went there it would have saved us a lot of trouble. But I advise everyone not to come to this place as they are not true to their word. And by the way the backlight of the Toyota Sienna fell off while my dad was test driving it and so I don't think it was even worth the price they are selling it there in the lot. Stay away from these guys.

I contacted the dealer 4 times and emailed them twice. When I got someone on the phone named Lydia, I made an offer. She said she would call me back after speaking to the manager. She didn't . I called her again the next day and my call again want returned. When I finally talked to her. She told me that they wouldn't take a deposit if i wast there in tx. They also said they wouldn't take a bank transfer from me to them, buying the gar sight unseen. They were completely unwilling to work with or return my call because I was out of state. The dealer shouldn't advertise nationally if they aren't willing to deal with someone that was willing to pay what the car was listed for and fly in and drive home.

Had to ask multiple times for additional photos. 3-4 days after initial contact I got the photos taken at dusk so I still couldn't see what I asked for... when the photo came there was no message saying where they were from, when looking for a specific car and the poor quality of photos it took time figure out where/ who, they came from.

Wanted to see the vehicle and the sales manager had taken it for the weekend. they were supposed to call me when it was back but I never got the call to come see that car. I did get calls for other cars

Dealer contacted me back and he promised to give for the internet price
($16,995). Based on that i have applied for Bank loan. Next day when i
contacted him. He said the car has been transferred to another dealer
though it is available on their website. This is ridiculous and i haven't seen a
worst dealer as such.

The sales team was great. The finance team was shady at best. The pressure sales tactics they use to sell gap insurance and protection packages was the only negative experience I had with Metro VW. Do yourself a favor and research options for gap insurance (which is less expensive through your insurance company for new cars and probably not needed if you're putting money down on a used car) and (extended) warranties before you close, because they will pressure you to buy on the spot.

Very pushy to get your info, but where a bit too secretive for my liking. I told them what time I get out of work an they continued to call, text and e-mail me while I was working, Ended up going with another dealership.

The Infinity M37 is owned by the
Pre owned Sales Mgr, and the car
is overpriced and he refused to
budge on the price, not even
$1.00 because he has emotional
ties to the car. Please don't waste
your time going to this dealership.
Also the car was Filthy Dirty, and
they refused to at least wash the
car off before showing to me, and
taking it for a test drive.... Hello
Metro Volks Wagon... A first
impression is a lasting
impression. That car will sit there
or be sold to the auction, due to
the stubborn Mgr, the overpricing,
and lack of detailing a car prior to
showing a customer. I would not
recommend anyone to go to this
dealership or waste your time.

but that they had new deals and I was

There is a stop sale on some of them right now from the manufacturer. There will be a fix from the manufacturer released shortly at that time we will be able to sell the vehicles you saw listed . We also have discounted the price of the 2016 Passat`s to what you can get a new 2015 for !!

The sales consultant was great. The issues that I had was that I was given the wrong information that decided whether or not I would make the trip because I live 5.35 hours away. Then the manager was nothing but rude about their mistake and even commented about how much he hated doing business on-line and over the phone. Before making the trip, I requested a call back from a manager to discuss final details and numbers, that never happened. I was contacted the morning of purchase by again, the sales rep which confirmed and assured me that everything was legit. So, as you can see there was more than 3 mistakes coming from the entire team. The manager never apologized but insited that it was just a simple error. An error that of course did not seem to bother him because of course it was not him that was lied to nor did he make the drive to purchase the vehicle. When I was asked what I wanted them to do to make it right my reply was to honor the deal that I was given and to please, stop wasting my time by argueing with me about a mistake that was in writing by the sales rep, email, and was verballing communicated to me by HIS team. He refused and stated the only issue he saw was that a manager should have contacted me back. I planned on driving and returning home with no issues and in a safe and timely hour. I received the phone call some time after 10 AM and arrived at VW after 4 PM and did not leave there till 9:50 PM which got me home after 3 AM.
I was treated professionally from start to finish (including post sale follow-up calls & e-mails). I came in pre-approved through my credit union with an exceptional interest rate. They asked if I would allow them to try & beat that rate and they did. I plan on using them again, when I buy the next car for my wife.

I didn't purchase a vehicle from Metro Volkswagon, but I will certainly consider them when I'm ready to purchase. The used car sales manager Waldo and sales person Juan are very nice - no pressure from them at all. Good customer service.
