I called to find out if a car that had been listed with no photos was available. It had been on their website and CarGurus for about a month. He said it was in transit and he would get back to me with photos once it got here. He never did. Now, a week later the car is sold.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Salesman
was very rude and refused to answer questions I
had. The initial salesman hung up on me. I called
back and the dealerships manager answered. He
told me not to take it personal and there were other
customers in the store and that they would rather
deal with the customers they had in the store and
not over the phone. I told the manager I didnât agree
with him (Iâm a paying customer as well) and he
hung up on me. These two individuals do not
deserve their positions in the store. They are giving
their company a bad name.
They were very responsive to my requests for information, and happy to negotiate a fair deal. Unlike the Florida dealers who advertise a price and then tack on a pile of bogus charges amounting to $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 dollars added to the price of the vehicle, very deceptive and dishonest. I don’t find this to be the case with Georgia dealers as their pricing is straight forward, no bogus fees tacked on, only the price of the car, dealer service fee, along with tax, tag, & title.

My recent virtual car buying with Platinum Used Cars has been nothing short of a complete disaster. After doing my research and being excited about purchasing a car, I decided to trust this dealer and make my purchase. Little did I know that it would turn into a nightmare.
I went through the process of paying for the vehicle and signing all the necessary documents, eagerly awaiting the delivery of my car. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment when I received a call from a salesman stating that the car I had purchased was inoperable and they would be unable to deliver it.
To say that I was shocked would be an understatement. How could a reputable dealer sell me a car that they knew was inoperable? It’s now makes sense why they rushed me through the whole process so I wouldn’t suspect their shadiness. It is absolutely unacceptable and a clear breach of trust. The whole purpose of purchasing a vehicle from a dealer is to ensure reliability and peace
Where do I start? Wasted a day here. This is a truly mismanaged auto dealer. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing and the manager is extremely unprofessional. Worst of all, they’re trying to get clean book value for a car with multiple major mechanical issue. Do not use this dealership.

When the paperwork came out, I began signing documents with Juan at which point I inquired again about the interest rate and the final
cost of the vehicle. Juan shuffled to the back of the paperwork and showed me that the final price of the 49,000 Tesla with interest was
79,000. When I saw the final price, I immediately advised them that I wasn't interested in continuing the sale. By this time the finance
manager came out to talk me into buying the car. With the bill of sale in front of me, I then wrote in large letters VOID across the document
and the Finance manager who was sitting across the desk from me, stood up, and attempted to snatch the paperwork out of my hand after
yelling that I couldn't write VOID on their paperwork. (I'd only signed about 10 pages out of the 30 or so pages in the packet) I took a
picture of the voided docs and then they were taken from me by the finance manager who then yelled that he wouldn't be giving me my
deposit because down payments all final

Sir the finance charges are based on your credit. and if i recall you were a cap1 auto navigator customer so you were aware of the interest rate and payment before you even came into the dealership. I do not understand how this was a surprise to you. I find it hard to believe that you didn't receive any info from Capital One Auto Finance they just happen to be one of the largest Auto finance companies in the country.
They’re very unprofessional I wanted to buy a vehicle from these guys until I tried to test drive couldn’t even leave the lot with how messed up the truck was and they still try to pressure you to buy the car. And also don’t try to place a hold on a vehicle they say they’ll return the money and avoid calling you back this includes the managers.
Great help from staff, was looking at a truck from out of state. Trotter and James were great to work with. Sent additional pictures as requested and were even willing to take the truck to a ford dealership for pre purchase inspection as I requested. Although I found a truck local to me I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them
I made a appointment to test drive a truck. Response was quick. When I got there they provided me with a carfax report on truck. Very polite Offer me something to drink. The truck was clean and ready. After I test drove the truck, I inform them that I wanted a mechanic to look at it, and I was unfamiliar with this area. They inform me of a shop that a lot people use. Even though I didn't purchase the truck, my overall experience was good.

This was a extremely poor experience. After terms of the sale price and trade value were solidified and contracts were signed, I drove a 1.5 hour distance to meet a rep from the dealership in a empty parking lot to exchange vehicles. This was 3 hours after the time we agreed on. After spending over an hour in the parking lot in cold rainy weather, The Platinum dealer as well as the owner decided to renege on the agreed upon terms. After a series of heated conversation it was obvious that regardless of the distance I drove, the time I took out of my day and from my job as well as the steps I took to prep the trade, they were prepared to have their representative turn around and drive the three hour back to the dealership in the same car he came with if I didn’t pay an extra $1000. If this sounds like extortion it’s is exactly what it felt like. I would never do business with Platinum again and I will recommend others avoid them as well. Highly unethical and unprofessional.

This dealership gave me the most Horrible and unprofessional experience ever in my life. They took my money and now won’t answer my calls at all!! Please do not ever buy a car from this place. David , James and Toshi harassed me for several days about getting their car back. I returned the car back promptly because my deal didn’t go through with my BANK and was told i would get my down payment back and now i can’t get anyone to answer me about getting my money back. Not to mention they got me fired from my job because of their unprofessionalism. I repeat STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !!!

Very unprofessional though the sales agent Trotter was really a nice guy. Originally I was excited about purchasing the car unfortunately when I arrived at the dealership I was told the car was with the owner and they would have it in 20min 1hour and 23min later the car arrived which was not the end of the world for me. I test drove the car but due to the bad reviews of this company I asked for permission to get a pre sale Inspection from BMW. The sales agent agreed at this point it was time to negotiate I asked for the best deal considering the economy and they had the car for over 100 days at this point 17 minutes later the sales agent returned with the exact same price that’s online. A few minutes later a husky guy came into the room with the report stating his car was the best price in the area. I’m not sure what this had to do with anything again I was negotiating the price that the dealership had listed he continued to go back-and-forth in a confrontational manner i walked out

Was overall a relatively painless experience. The salesperson Wayne was very helpful throughout the process. The price advertised was the price the vehicle was purchased for. Document fees were on the high end. But dealers do vary significantly. This purchase was long distance, as I live in Wisconsin. I did hire a mechanic for a pre purchase inspection, and Platinum was accommodating with that. Overall from first contact to purchase was about a week and a half. All forms required were done electronically. No problems. Vehicle had a few scratches on the rear quarter that I required to be fixed. And Platinum did fix them, no problem. Transportation I took care of myself, so no issues there. I have read some concerning reviews of this dealership. But my experience would lead me to do business with them again, if need be. Didn’t detail the truck like they said they would. They didn’t fill the truck up with gas. Simply drove off than came back acting like they fill it up. The truck that I bought was a 2016 Chevy sliverado 1500 and the front breaks were in bad condition. No break life left and the rotors are damaged. I have pictures of it too. I wouldn’t recommend buy a car or truck from here.
The sales rep was friendly and responded well to initial inquiries. They were generous with letting me take it for as long as I needed to take it for a pre-purch inspection. Of the 6 things recommended to be fixed per the inspection, they did the 4 major fixes. They fixed a front end dent as well. My rating of a 3 is because they didn't detail the interior. I felt the price negotiator was a bit tricky as car salesmen are generally known to be; but he did concede when I pushed back on some items. Lastly, I don't feel all my questions throughout out the 1 week process were answered clearly and completely. Nevertheless the less, I figured things out my own way.

THE dealer first listed $6,999.00 for the car, and after we spoke to him he
changed the price to $8,999.00.
All in all it wasn’t a terrible experience. They definitely have to make their money on selling you the additional warranties because they don’t want you to walk out without buying them (told them no about 8 times). Told me the bank gives them a better finance rate if you purchase a warranty (that’s not through the bank) because “it will be covered” I’ve never had the bank care that much before in my life about any vehicle I’ve bought but this is my first used vehicle purchase. I didn’t realize you could put 3,000 down on a vehicle and then have to immediately drive to a gas station to fill it up. Only other thing I was pretty upset with is that I was under impression I was getting a 72 month term loan and bank mailed me letters stating 75. Don’t know where that change came from. But will have to try and refinance it in about a year.
Overall good experience with this dealership. They were very professional and not over bearing when I arrived at the dealership. The photos were accurate. I had a minor issue for a service light that popped up within 24 hours after the sale. They fixed it right away.
If you are seeking an aesthically and visually pleasing experience at a dealership this isnt the place. But if your expectation is courtesy, straightforward communication and professionalism then Platinum is at the top of the list
I purchased the vehicle from them under the condition they would provide floor mats, the back cup holder, and a key fob. It’s been two week and I’ve tried repeatedly to get an answer on when these items will be coming and still no response. He responded very quickly before we purchased the vehicle and I feel I’m being ignored. I was also charged for these items on my bill of sale. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this dealership.

Very tentative salesman who I had to reach out to for a response. I made an offer and waited 24 hrs, called and he told me the owner wouldn’t take me offer and they had some else looking at the jeep. So I responded to call me if it didn’t get sold. Don’t think I’ll hear from them again

The salesperson, Frank, was very nice. We made our purchase for a fair price. I do feel that the SUV should have been much cleaner than it was and the the air and cabin filters should have been replaced. I also feel that he should have been wearing his mask instead of leaving it on his desk the entire time.
Contacted me promptly and advised me that the truck was already sold. They did not play any games like
pretending they still had it so they can get you down to their dealership in hopes of selling you something else. The
honesty was appreciated and respected. I ended up buying from someone else, but dealer will be on my short list
next time I'm in the market due to this.
They were okay we couldn’t make a deal . With trade it still asking About 3,000-4,000 with a with out trade in. Low balled me on trade in . Didn’t hear back from them after that. They don’t really work with you on price and they say they will but with trade in I was still going to pay 3,000 more on asking . Just add crazy high fees that didn’t make sense . If your willing to pay top dollar for a used car then I’m sure its a okay place to buy from and want a low ball offer on a trade in . Took my business some where else . Never went to lot didn’t waste my time .

Buyers beware! These folks charge auction fees and dealer fees! I had also asked for three items to be done to the car; New tires,touch up on the front spoiler and a burned out light in the overhead. We finally agreed on a price for the car with the items resolved and a pickup time to pick the car up. When we arrived two days later with check in hand to pick the car up, to our surprise only two of the four tires were replaced!!! The touch up was the wrong color!!! Then the interior light that was out was not replaced!!! He said he forgot!!!
We were very unhappy and asked him to complete what we had asked, and come off the price 300.00 for our lost time and inconvenience (4 hours). He said he would only come off 200. and complete all the items. He did apologize but said that was all he could do!!!
Don’t waste your time patronizing this dealership!

Salesman, Jay, seemed to be in a rush most of the time, always had other customers or "out to lunch" when I inquired about the vehicle. Did not get approved for the 2014 Chevrolet Suburban however, if I did get approved I think that Jay would have been more attentive. I work with public daily and I have to provide all my consumers with adequate services whether they are approved or not.

Most of the Suburbans I looked at here were in pretty rough shape. One was
a Repo, and the other two were multi-owner cars that had a rough life. They
do have lots of Suburbans to choose from, but you really need to check them
over carefully and do lots of review on CarFax and Autocheck.
Very likely a fake listing. We emailed and were told it was still available. We went to see it at our appointed and it had “been sold.” It had apparently been sold when we had been told it was there.
The sold vehicle is still listed as available! These guys may be using good listings as “bait” to get you to show up.

Timing they are telling it’s sold even after that time their representative was texting me as that vehicle is available. I drove all the way from Alabama and wasted my time.

Jay was super nice and professional. He had the vehicle parked and ready for me to see it and was just as accommodating when I took my husband back to see it and test drive it. Was very transparent in business. I just hate the vehicle wasn’t quite right for us, but would definitely suggest shopping here!
I think the dealership needs some improvement in a couple areas but overall not a bad experience. The salesman was nice. The owner was courteous and willing to fix any problems with the vehicle.
Cons: They tack on a $895 "Destination Service fee". The car i saw wasn't clean and detailed. They say they do that as you are signing paperwork.

still is, as we are still working out some kinks a week later. Joe who is the
owner was awesome, and ever gave us some back story about how the
GM/Cadillac's are made as he used to work there! The whole experience
was amazing & even tho we came in expecting to pay more, since they
just dropped the price while we were on our way, they still gave it to us
even tho we didn't know! They could have easily charged us what we
thought we were going to pay. Will DEFINITELY make the 2.5 hour drive

They had my car since purchase for
over 3 weeks and they couldn't get it
together. Customer service is
horrible!! And no one will call you
back to resolve the problems. If you
are thinking about using Platinum
Cars, make sure you throughly check
the car out!

I was told 14000 cash for the jeep I
drove over 400 miles to go get it have
way there got a call telling me the price
has changed because the had to fix the
4 wheel drive then we negotiated at
14300 well after that on the way home I
got 300 MILES on it an the check gages
came on to find out that they only put 2
quarts of oil in the engine when they
change the oil hundred miles later ran
into an ice storm had to put the vehicle
in for a drive and found out that they
didn't fix the 4 wheel drive I called them
in front of them about the shortage of oil
in the engine and they didn't want to
honor anything not even the failure of
the mechanic not putting three more
quarts of oil into the engine So know I'm
out $5,800 getting the 4 wheel drive and
the engine replaced I would not
recommend anyone to buy a vehicle
from platinum cars south

I felt like I was passed around between
several different people and there were
very long waiting times in between. First
day I was there for several hours. I
purchased a car that needed a few
items attended to and it took over a
week before the car was ready.
Communication could have been better,
I had to contact them to find out what
was going on, once car was ready for
collection they rang me several times.

Friendly staff. However, after test
driving the car and sitting down
for 30 minutes in an to attempt to
purchase, a sales manager came
out to tell me that the car had
been sold already. Very
disappointed. That seems like
information that should have
been conveyed prior to the drive.
In addition, the car is still listed on
the site. I guess people should
only bother coming here if they
want to leave with nothing.

I contacted this dealership about a 2007 honda Accord EX-L. The
dealership itself was further out so I notified the sales person that
I needed to know the vehicle was the before I arrived. It took
numerous phone calls for them to even verify that the vehicle was
still there, they were either still looking or put me on hold and
hung up. then they finally called back and wanted to run my
credit, still not knowing if the car was there, my credit report must
have come back really good because all of a sudden they got
really interested and called me non stop saying the car was there.
By this time i had found some more local vehicles and purchased
one from elsewhere........ Pretty much they only want your money
they have no interest in customer service or putting you in a good
car.

I bought the car, it was a quick
process..after they got paid I'm
still chasing them down because
they haven't send the paperwork
to the DMV for my tags and
registration. I've been calling
them since September 4th and
haven't been able to get in touch
with them. I have about 10 days
before my temporary tags expire
and the DMV still don't have the
dealership paperwork.

I called the dealership to inquire about a
car. The salesman said that it was still
available. So I drove an hour to the
dealership only to find out that the car
and others he said he had were gone.
Another salesman tried to sell me a
hyundai elantra that he kept calling a
hyundai sonata. Know your cars guys
before you try to sell it. I will never go
back there again.

I got to the dealer and the car I was looking at with in the corner
block in by other cars, look into the like what I seen, and the guy said
I couldn't drive the car until I was approve. Then he was pushing the
issue about me getting a cosigner do to my credit score being low
without running my score. Once he ran my credit he told me I wasn't
approved, of with was a lie cause I was approved somewhere else. I
feel like they need to work more on the buyer not trying to get a co-
sign before evening doing your paper work, and people need to drive
the car so they can see if they like the car not you tell them you like it
and it rides good.

This dealer listed the price of the car at $14,499, but when I went
to see the car, he attempted to add on $3,000 in "fees." The fees
included nearly $600 for "accessories," as well as a bunch of
other ridiculous things. A true "used car salesman." If I could
give a "0" rating to this dealer, I would. I will never buy a car from
here!

2010 Camaro looked good on the internet with the pictures that was posted. Did make an appointment to see the car based on the pictures and comments I made to the salesman about I hoped it looked as good in person as it appeared in the pictures. Salesman agreed and after driving over two hours I was totally disappointed in the appearance of the car. The four wheels had a bad case of road rash, damaged to the point of total let down in the appearance of the car, the drivers side windshield had surface scratches and the interior had a Lysol smell or something, not sure what. Dealership just wasn't honest up front with the car. Bought a Camaro else where.

Had a wonderful experience initially. Car
appeared to be good, staff seemed friendly and
professional. There is a reason why the cars here
are cheap.... it took me a week to learn the
dynamics of this dealership and they should not
be allowed to sell automobiles. I purchased a
2007 infinity, and at a good price five weeks ago.
Since then it has been at the infinity dealership
twice (currently still at dealership), and not sure
of the total amount I will have to pay.
The day of purchase I heard a knocking noise
near the front passenger suspension area.
Platinum used cars said not to worry that they
guaranteed it will be taken cared of, and also the
headlights would not work.
They kept the vehicle 7 out of the first 10 days of
purchase. They claimed they replaced a lot of
parts in the front suspension area but could not
fix the knocking noise. Later my mechanic
confirmed that all parts were used and the only
thing it look like they may have done was spread
grease all over the place. And they did get the
headlights working thanks to platinum used cars
mechanics but he disconnected the cigarette
lighter to do it.
They will swear that they inspect the cars when
they arrive, like checking engine, transmission
and all fluids. But all the fluids were used (none
fresh), and even the engine oil was pass over due.
Most of my communication was directed through
Sonney (service manager). It got to the point that
he admitted that his mechanic could not fix the
knocking noise and because of that I had to live
with it. I asked him if I could discuss this with his
supervisor and he stated that he did not answer
to anyone and that he was his own boss.
This dealership had the better price on the car
that I wanted, but at the lowest quality and the
worst service.
Please be prepared to bring a good mechanic and
do the due diligence in the purchase process.
