This was a great buying experience! The staff was friendly and well informed on the process. Chase was awesome in giving me all the info I needed on the truck as well as a video. The trade in was effortless and went smooth. Sandy did a great job to have all paperwork completed prior to me arriving. Overall this was a great experience!

I have one hour and 30 minutes and the car was not there that I wanted to see. They never called me to let me know. So I was terribly disappointed with their company.
I believe this dealership is worthy of a good review. They were very responsive and offered a fair deal. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is because they insisted on a bank certified check for a “ cash”sale and would not accept an ECH transfer of funds. Like many people these days I have no access to my banks limited physical locations and I conduct all my banking on line. This prohibited me from acquiring a certified bank check which requires you to visit a branch. ACH transfers are the safest way to transfer money and the fund are immediately accessible and cannot be reversed. They did finally agree to a fund transfer but only after I jumped through hoops to have a family member acquire a third party bank check after I wired them the funds. It took way too much time and effort and there effort was too little too late. I believe they need to offer more options if they intend to do more remote online sales.

I think Phillip Hawkins Motor Company is a great place to buy a car. They are very friendly and helpful. They only sell nice cars, no junk. I have bought two vehicles from them and they stand behind them after the sale. The first car I bought from them had a small problem after the mileage was a little past the warranty. They took it to the back a fixed it anyway, free of charge. I highly recommend them.

I loved this experience far better than my last car buying experience. This place really worked with me, and treated me like they wanted to actually help me, versus just take my money. Martyn is who I bought my car from, and he was so nice, polite, and really has his customers best interest at heart. The owner was also willing to work with us. They allowed me to do an extended test drive since I lived an hour away, and the day I brought the car back was the day I bought it! I showed interest in the vehicle weeks prior and Martyn made sure it would be mine! Thank you all.

Shannon (sales) was great to work with and has been available for me since my purchase, too. I would definitely work with him again when my husband is ready to purchase a newer truck.
With that said, beware of the warranty guy who comes out of nowhere to sell you an extended warranty while they are supposedly processing your paperwork. He started by buttering me up about how much he appreciates teachers, and then quickly turned into Mr Hyde. In my case, the car is still under factory warranty, but he wanted to sell it to me anyway. If you need the warranty, hold off until "round 2" when they'll offer it to you at cost.

I contacted them about a Cadillac CTS they had listed and they sent me additional pictures and a 360 walk around almost immediately. Although I bought a car elsewhere, I found them to be very professional and courteous and would definitely work with them again.

The sales transaction was seamless ... Hawkins Motors delivered what was advertised and promised ... Martyn Hill is great ... He answered every question and walked me through the entire process ... The only downside being that Martyn is from North Carolina (ask him about this) ... The next time we are in the market for a vehicle we will see Hawkins first.

Although I didn't purchase the car (it sold before I had the chance to lol) the salesman James was extremely helpful and professional, even called me right after the vehicle sold just so I wouldn't come to the dealership for nothing. He also encouraged me to keep an eye on their inventory for another great deal.

Top notch in every way. They responded by email, then text, and then by phone. They did not push, they just responded (like you would like them to) every time. Actual meeting, test driving and answering questions was a very pleasurable experience. Shopped for months on-line to avoid going through all types of sales people and gimmicks. Could not have been more pleased with their entire staff.

I compared prices and looked up blue book value or the car I was looking at and was able to get them to come closer to the value but I still kept finding them as the highest price for the car compared to the exact same car at other dealerships. They were very nice however and explained to be why they had to stay a little higher. They did have lots of nice used cars on their website also.
Great experience! Bill helped me through the buying process with thoughtful perfesionalism. The vehicle was just as advertised, and since I drove in from quite a distance, Bill made sure I had all the information I needed before heading out to the dealership to look at the car in person. Couldn’t be more satisfied with my car buying experience with Phillip Hawkins Motor Company!

This dealer responded immediately to inquiry. Completed all of the paperwork on my end on Friday, picked up the car on Saturday. Was at the lot all of 40 minutes and I was on my way in my new Impala. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to me!!!

The ENTIRE staff is very helpful. They make you their number one priority. I have told so many people about their business!!! They have gone above and beyond for me to ensure I got the vehicle I wanted. There isn't any pressure to buy and they are not pushy like most dealerships. Mr. Bubba is one of the BEST!! He is a joy to work with! He is also very honest and thorough!!!!

Actually never called me but I went to see car anyway. Seemed honest, helpful, and friendly but car advertised as not smoked in, had definitely been smoked in. Car very nice otherwise - ad as premium cloth seats, actually had leather seats.
