0 Stars. We had made an appointment to see a car, and were in the process of buying the car, considering
our financials, and filling out paperwork etc, and another salesman came and asked for the keys to the same
car about 30 minutes after we had arrived. We questioned our rep about it, and my husband asked if there
was going to be a bidding war. We were told no, they didn't operate that way. We were told we would have
first dibs since we had the appointment and were in the process of the paperwork. My husband had just
signed the finance forms and our sales rep got up, checked on something, and came back and informed us
the couple that came in after us, bought the car, essentially we were told we were too slow in filling out the
paperwork. So essentially, either the dealership would make more money from this other couple, or they are
just plain sketchy. I've never heard of something like this happening. Will NEVER recommend them to
anyone. Manager did not care.

Made an appointment to show up to look at a van and test drive it. When I got there I had to wait for a while. Then when I was helped someone had just showed up to see van and was going to test drive it. So I didn’t get to see the van I had an appointment for. Very frustrating. The guy helping was very friendly but not even who I was supposed to see that day.

Communication was fast and friendly, however they missed a chance to make a sale. I'm
sure each dealership has its own pokicy, but we offered to put a deposit on an Expedition
over the weekend until our credit union was open to finish the purchase. Performance
Toyota wouldn't take a deposit to hold. We purchased elsewhere with a fast deposit.

They were great, got a trade in quote/out the door numbers, right away. Couldn’t quite get to a number that would let me close the deal, but absolutely no pressure. Great interaction.

We reside in Chicago so I needed to trust a salesperson that would be transparent and provide the proper consideration to the questions and
requests I had.
I am proud to say that Mohaganie was the perfect salesperson, she answered the phone with the utmost consideration for our situation and
distance. She provided a detailed walk around video and answered all the questions I had.
They stayed firm on their internet price, so the only beef I have is with Dave the sales manager who I never formally met but I'm sure he's an okay
guy.
The condition of the vehicle as described and presented was above and beyond. Mohaganie even finalized our deal and numbers on her day off.
Try not to do that to her, but that shows her character and who you'll be dealing with if you call in and choose her.
Shack was the finance guy, he was great at explaining extended warranties in detail and not pushy at all, he presented a quality atmosphere while
closing out the boring stuff.

They posted a Grand Highlander Hybrid - an extremely limited available SUV - for a price discounted from the MSRP. Most of these vehicles are already reserved when posted to Car Gurus. I decided to check the listing and contacted the dealer. Their response was unbelievable. They claimed my inquiry was for a 2022 used Highlander..I was previously interested in a Highlander in 2022 and am pretty sure even a new Platinum did not sell for $56,833! Additional communications with dealer and sales representative continued to imply my inquiry was for a 2022 Highlander even though I attached the screen shot of the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX Platinum they posted for $56,833. The post was either an attempt to gain interested Grand Highlander Hybrid consumer's personal information or a display of extreme incompetence.This was not a simple mix-up.

Very courteous! When we decided not to trade at this time, dealer was very pleasant, did not pressure, and expressed their hope that we would try them again in the future.
I test drove this vehicle and filled out a credit application. I drove back a few hours later for my
spouse to look over the vehicle and fill out paperwork. The car was toyota certified with a sticker
on the windshield. I found before paperwork that they could not send a credit app to Toyota
because of a recall on vehicle that had not been fixed so it actually was not certified. I would not
recommend this dealership

The car was beautiful but the process to get the car was less than helpful and I eventually had to move on to another dealership. After test driving I went to work on financing but after seeing the interest rate they charged I decided to go through a bank rather than with them at a much much lower interest rate problem was I never got the actual price from the dealership because they refused to allow me to leave with the paperwork with the cost on it then never sent it to me for a follow up email so I could apply. Couldn’t waste my time waiting so I moved on.

Delightful group of folks. Rashawn was professional and at the same time made me feel very comfortable, even with the unusual situation I put myself in, enough said! Rachel was great sending me photos (as I live 6 hours away) and answering my questions. Everyone responded promptly to my calls.
Responded very timely, scheduled appointment, drove an hour thru rain. When I got there we were greeted & given water. The salesman, Kevin Hall was very nice & went to get the car. Brought back an entirety different one that was wrecked. The one I came to see was not to be found. I got a couple different versions why the car was not there. I was not happy and bought a car elsewhere.

They said the car that we went to see did not have any accidents. However we got there it was completely covered in hail damage. First thing we saw when we walked up to the car. We drove 45 minutes to go take a look at that car and called ahead of time. It would’ve been nice to be told the truth and it would’ve saved us a trip.

Great dealership. Came as close as possible to making a deal, but stopped
short of buying.
A sales person from Performance called me and I asked if they still had this particular car on the lot because it
was a 50 minute drive to the dealer, and I didn't want to waste my time or gas if the car was sold. The sales
person said it was there and to come that night or the next morning and that he would be there and also call
us if the car sold. We went the next morning, and a different sales person said that he was off and that the car
had been sold last week. It felt like we were lied to all around and would never consider buying from this
dealership ever.

The salesperson was not familiar with the product. I was told one thing over the phone to get me into the dealership. They were thousands higher on an exact vehicle that I provided a purchase agreement from a different dealership. It was a waste of time. The vehicle was listed online for 39,740 but in person the cost increased to $40,740. I realized the dealership was not going to be upfront and attempt to appear honest.

Mike, the finance manager and Rachel Root, the sales person, made quite the effort to work with me on price. Bought the car and they filled the tank with gas. Very nice.
I contacted the dealer prior to looking at a vehicle. I asked about it and asked about the door. I arrived to view the vehicle and it was trashed. One door didn’t match the car and the car was rusted like crazy! They played dumb and I left.

Bad dealership.
Lost my business , tried to say car was great.. 1 owner, been checked out through service. Only to find it had 2 broken axles, found by my personal mechanic. I was told their mechanic deemed it safe even with it throwing grease. Wanted me to pay for it .
Bad business to hide this type of problem from the customer.
Have some nice cars but make sure your own mechanic checks it out.
Broken axles, not safe , not to mention costly. I wanted the car but I refuse to pay and they refuse to adjust the price at all.

we ended up with a great deal on a car, but paid the price with our time. Every time the salesperson had to go "check with her manager" on an offer or a question that we had, she didn't come back for 30 minutes. We went into the dealership knowing which car we wanted, but it still took over 3 hours.

I was seriously annoyed with this place. Called ahead and let them know that I was going to come look at the Renegade TrailHawk they had as I was coming from out of town and wanted to make sure it was still available. When I got there, I asked to test drive it and by the time we got back after the test drive the car was sold. They let me know someone else had test drove it right before me, but they didn't tell me that they were filling out the paperwork while I was test driving it. Waste of time for me, and I put miles on someone's new car and had potential to ding it up. Poor business practice.

Very good talking to the sales person. Very bad that they failed to tell me the Cadillac I came to see was in the repair shop. Guess I will keep on looking elsewhere.
Truck was sold when I arrived from 40 miles away but likely wouldnt have bought it any way since they way undervaued my trade when I tried on another vehicle. Not likely I would ever try again and spend that much time and effort at this dealership under valueing by $3k. Salesman great. Sales manager not so much presenting numbers like that to me

Very responsive, walked in that evening to test drive the vehicle, love their
later hours. Felt no extra pressure from any salesman, their relaxed,
comfortable environment which is exactly what I would say "sealed the
deal" for me, no one likes to feel pressure to make a large purchase such
as a car. They presented every bit of information I asked for without
hesitation, making my decision
(after being very persnickety about every car I test drove for a month)
effortless.

Shared it was a non smoking owner, had a Premium Convenience Pkg and was Certified. Failed to share that the front drive shaft had been replaced about 2000 miles prior. Did not want to 'deal' on price.

Later I received a call apologizing for our treatment and asking us to come in
again for the same auto which I would have done despite not being what I
really wanted. I did make an appointment for the next day. In the mean time I
found a better car (color and price Camry Red SE) from another dealer. I then
cancelled the appointment with performance. The result was that I bought the
other car the next day from the other dealer. SUGGESTION::TAKE TIME
WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS THE FIRST TIME AND FIND A CAR HE
WANTS EVEN IF YOU'R BUSY.

I set up an appointment to drive a specific vehicle. I explained I would be driving from Dayton, over an hour to get there and would be there by 6. We arrives at 5:30, through rush hour traffic only to find the truck had a flat tire and was not drivable. The owner explained to me how busy he was and could care less that I had an appt with someone who was not even there that day! He promises me it would be fixed tomorrow. Well I mad the appt for today because i am not able to see it tomorrow. Amy knew I would be driving 80 mins to see the vehicle and drive it. Amy did Nothing to repair the tire or let me know it was flat. Needless to say, there is no way, I would do business with this company after wasting my entire afternoon. Doesn't even deserve the one star rating.

Made an appointment to go look at a car and the called me 2-4 times a day until I went and they had sold the car after telling me they would call and let me know since I had a decent drive to get there. Then practically spit in our face when trying to purchase a different car. They have horrible customer service and I Would not recommend this dealer to anyone.

We had the greatest experience at performance Toyota! Purchased my very first "new" car there last Sunday and am very satisfied. Oz was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us everything about the car we were interested in. Greg was great! The entire staff was very kind, personalble and genuinely cared about helping us find what we wanted and figure out financing that would work for us. I highly recommend them!

I contacted the dealership, had several emails traded with them regarding
the vehicle and my trade. I made arrangements to drive 1.5 hours to make
a deal. When I arrived the sales rep acted like he wanted to put as much
ground between him and me as possible. When I finally got him to myself
he told me the car I wanted was already sold. Told me to I "can look
around the lot and see if anything else was ok". I left the dealership VERY
upset. Not that the car was sold but that I was brushed off by the sales
rep. I will never go back to Performance and would not recommend them
to anyone!

Can't trust their word. On Sunday 08 July 2012 I had a confirmed appointment by email and telephone conversation to see the 2004 C230. VIN number WDBRF40J84A603038. My grandchildren and I drove to Fairfield OH and when we were only a few blocks away from Performance Toyota, I got a call on my cell phone from the sales person telling me that the car had been sold. Disappointment! I cannot express it! We drove 25 miles in 101 degree summer heat expecting to complete the paperwork so that I buy the car.. I responded to the email sent to me by Performance on Monday telling Performance about their extraordinary treatment and my disappointment.
