Dishonest scheduled an appt to test drive a specific vehicle that had just come in. They had no photos online. Arrived at the dealership. Let us see the car couldn’t let us test drive it yet. Had not been serviced…kept stringing us along for over a week then increased the price of the car. Could only get advertised price if I financed a minimum of $10,000, interest rate was very high and added a $1,895 restore and service fee on top of doc fee. When I told him I was gonna pass on the car, they continue to call me to the point of harassment both salesman and manager.

Initial contact was fine as phone reps are mostly courteous to provide info. requested
and schedule appts.
The real experience starts after you get in and dealing with sales guys and floor mgrs.
Sales guy does not know or present all the facts or misrepresent the product and
services such as delivery or what the fix done to the van.
WHEN PRICE ING NEG.CAME, ASKED FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MORE
THAN THE advertised price plus dealer costs. Very greedy on pricing followed by very
poor followup service after contract signed.
Wasted plenty of time over a week even to geta delivery commitment date.
The worst dealership I ever had to deal with in al my many years of car buying.
They do not know what the real customer basic service means.
I definitely not recommend this dealer ship to anyone. Stay AWAY FRPOM THESE
GUYS, AS THERE ARE MANY OTHER GREAT DEALERSHIPS IN GREATER
BOSTON AND NEWHAMPSHIRE REGIONS.

Submitted 2 requests for info via Car Guru’s site to no avail. Made 3rd attempt a couple days later via a voicemail to the sales mgr. That facilitated a call back to me by a Parkway sales rep. (Jessie) who indicated the 2019 Ridgeline I was interested in was on hold and he would need to check on reason why and get back to me in 10-15 mins. Never heard back from Jessie so sent a request via Parkway Honda’s website later the next day to have their GM contact me regarding my continued struggle to get info. on the Ridgeline that is still posted for sale as of today (12/31/23) on the Car Guru and Parkway Honda websites. Jessie again returned call leaving me a voicemail that the Ridgeline is on hold until recall addressed (but no specific timeline), yet vehicle still posted for sale. As a result decided to check online reviews regarding this dealership which were mostly negative, vs. the reviews on the dealership’s own website. Go figure!!!
Car battery was dead upon arrival even with scheduled appointment, breaks were squeaking and squealing when we tried to get gas as the tank was empty. The salesperson parked the car and had us get out as she did not feel it was safe to drive! We went in and the manager tried to negotiate with us based on promises of repair, but quickly reverted to its priced for sale no negotiation. He tried to explain away the issues with the car as being it had not been safety inspected. I wish that would have been clear before allowing a family with two young kids to get in for a test drive. Buyer be safe and beware.

Great salesmen - horrible management.
As a foreigner I was treated very poorly, the financial manager was very rude and wouldn’t answer my questions or take my business seriously. Wouldn’t reveal the loan terms after approval from the bank. Unfortunately very unpleasant experience.
I don’t recommend it.

Went to see a Honda Pilot and drove an hour to view vehicle and found out the rear end was visibly damaged. Wasted a trip. No details of it in description of vehicle and car fax stated no damage which was COMPLETELY Wrong. NEVER will I do any business with this dealership, if they hide the visual damage what else are they hiding?!

Could not come to agreement on price. Otherwise okay. Some disagreement on whether the "moderate" damage on the
CarFax was something I should care about. They tried to down play it of course. But it seemed pretty significant to me.

through email showed a listing for an Odyssey. I
had requested a test drive with either of two
Pilots. When asking about either of the Pilots
they were both sold. It almost seems like there's

Glen from the Internet Department contacted me promptly and answered my questions about the car. Dominic who handled the sales
transaction was thorough and helpful. I did not fee pressured and I got a price that I was happy with. I took delivery of my vehicle right away.
The only thing I wished is that it did not take so long to wait for the inspection to be completed. Overall it was a positive experience.

The car advertised was not actually available, even though I called in advance to confirm. The
staff were very courteous but this was a classic bait and switch. They offered me a similar car
that was more expensive and had significantly higher mileage than the posting. Even today, an
alert for a price drop on the same car appeared on cargurus. I called the dealer again and
confirmed that in fact this car is not available.

Terribly disappointed. We were told that there was minor damage to the left rear quarter. On a visual inspection there was damage to the left and right rear quarters as well as damage to the front bumper system, hood and roof. 3 days later they dropped the price 500 dollars. What a bad experience

I received an e-mail from Peter Higgins who does internet sales in response to my inquiry about a Civic and also Lynn Lydon to whom I went back and forth with with questions and answers in e-mails. I also dealt with Bill Johnston the salesman who did the final sales on the Civic. I have nothing but good things to say about all three of these salespeople. I ended up purchasing the Civic and I am very happy that I went to Prime Honda.

I will not use this Honda dealer as all they did was lie to me before I even had a chance to test drive the car. The price of the Honda was listed for $21,840.00 and I scheduled a test drive for 2:00pm the next day. Later that night I was called and told the car was already sold. The next day I checked the listings again and it was still listed with the original price. I called back and I was told the car was sold. Later that day I was contacted by the dealer scheduler for the test drive at 2:00 pm. I informed her that I was told the car was already sold. She confirmed from the dealer that the car was already sold. In reality the car was not sold but delisted and then relisted at $26,000.00. I will not purchase from a dealership that will not give me an honest answer. All they had to do was tell me it was the wrong price and I would have accepted that. I hope this is not there standard practice. I would have bought the Honda at the $26,000.00 as this was still a great price

Horrible horrible horrible!
This car was in bad condition breaks were squeaking it had some plastic or something hanging under the front number which can be seen in the photo. The ac compreser made some weird noise I mean the car I seen was a out of a horror movie.
Yet, they wanted 20k for it!!!!
Oh the flip side, the sales guy was very nice and understanding.
My experience even before i reached prime Honda Boston was great. Spent some time with a woman named Bianca who was very patient with me. I was pulling 20 hr shifts the entire week and she did the damn thing. Once at the dealership, i was introduced to Carlos and Steven the magic finger with finance. Both gentlemen were great as well. 5 stars because they more then deserve it and i am grateful. Thank you

The sales representative took care of us nicely; I however didn’t like how the sales manager behaved in front of us. The sales manager also made the process harder for us. At first he came over, after we had waited for a long time, and it wasn’t even that busy, and he was on his cellphone phone talking to someone else. Even during the process, he was on his phone and not even giving us the full attention as customers. This was absolutely rude as if we don’t matter as customer. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY OF MY FAMILY TO BUY A CAR FROM HERE, AFTER THAT EXPERIENCE FROM THE SALES MANAGER. Very disappointed in their service.

Very nice people very helpful glad i went there
This was not just a terrible car buying experience
but probably the worst retail experience I have
ever had.
1. I called about a 2014 Honda CR-V and told
them I was extremely motivated, prequalified
and had a large cash deposit, and that this
particular car seemed perfect. The pictures
showed absolutely no damage and the price
seemed almost too good to be true but was still
$500
over my personal budget. I let them know if they
came down the $500 and if the car was what it
appeared to be I would come in that day to
see it and buy it the next. Over the process I
repeatedly told them what my personal budget
was (important to note because of their behavior
later on). I told them that I work full time and am
a college student. So, later that day I come in
and the entire right side of the vehicle's body is
caved in. The ad showed none of this
whatsoever and it was MAJOR damage. My
salesman, Peter, saw my irritation and explained
that he
was very embarrassed about showing the car in
that condition and the GM also said it was
"terrible" that they did not inform me of this
before
coming in. The reason they were able to hide this
is because the car had a clean CarFax. Someone
had gotten into a major accident and not
reported it. During price negotiations Peter said
the "car could have been sold eight times over if
they had just fixed the damage first" and
implied they would have done that without ever
disclosing the information to the next unlucky
customer.
2. I love the car so much that, upon Peter's
assurances it would be "perfect" before they
released it to me, I buy the car anyway. I come in
two
days after seeing it and work with Jeff to get the
papers signed. He tells me how every Honda car
comes includes a special warranty (!) with
the price of the car. Again, it almost feels too
good to be true. He personally assures me that
the fixes will take 4-5 days MAX. So, 4 or 5 days
later I give them a call and they inform me that
the car will "probably" be ready in another 7 days
or so. At this point I'm losing my patience
with these people and tell them I'm ready to
walk. Fixes take as long as they need to take but
it was the fact that they gave me their word and
weren't making good on it that upset me. I
needed the car to be ready when they promised
for a trip to Canada. They said what they needed
to say to get my $5000 deposit (which they
promptly took out of my account as soon as I
signed papers even though I wasn't able to pick
up
the car for another TWO AND HALF WEEKS). I
make a stink about it so they agreed to have
weather tech mats included and give me a
loaner car. I am still upset about being lied to at
this point but I say whatever and tell myself there
couldn't possibly be anymore problems from
this point in the deal.
3. Yesterday I went to go pick the car up and
Peter isn't in so another salesman greets me. He
tries to hand me my paperwork, folded up in an
envelope, without going over anything. I said
hold on a second and let's go over this. As soon
as I open it I see that the final price is FOUR
THOUSAND DOLLARS higher than the agreed
about closing price of 17,200. Apparently, the
warranty that Jeff said was "included" with
every Honda car was added without anyone ever
speaking to me about it. I said that that wasn't
right at all and he agreed to go speak to
someone about. He came back, "Sorry to break
the news to you but..." and tried to tell me that
nothing could be done and that the deal was
made. I told them I wasn't leaving or taking the
keys until I could speak to the GM or Jeff. My
anger is continuing to build and he sees this and
finally agrees to get Jeff. At first, Jeff tries to tell
us that the deal is done and there's nothing he
can do. He tries to say that everything was
disclosed in the paperwork despite knowing full
well that the words SERVICE CONTRACT were
not ever spoken to me and Peter had
repeatedly confirmed the final price of the deal
to be at $17,200. After making it clear that what
he did was unethical and calling him out for
being a liar he finally agreed to cancel the
warranty. If I had driven off the lot without
looking at that paperwork I would've been on the
hook for
a loan amount that they KNEW I could not afford.
BUYER BEWARE! This is a novel but there are
details about the story that make what they did
even worse. Peter was a decent salesman
and I don't think he knew what Jeff tried to pull
on us but I can't be sure. If you go here and are
forced to work with their finance guy
Jeff just be sure to look over every single word
of anything you sign. He'll shake your hand and
talk you up knowing full well he's lying to you. He
was also incredibly twitchy, sweaty, and his eyes
were dilated. That was what I experienced but
you can draw your own conclusions from it. I'll
be calling the GM about this situation
on Monday and the Better Business Bureau.

Subsequent to a submission of interest in a car at Prime via the Car Gurus
postings I was immediately contacted by D. who was very
pleasant and helpful. He explained that the car wasn't quite ready yet (in
fact the posting had no photos) but that he would call me when it was.
The next day D. called and we arranged a time for us to visit. When I
arrived I saw the car in the lot. I looked at it and soon noticed that the
exhaust system was totally disconnected at the muffler and entirely
rusted. Even the catalytic converter looked shot. The brake rotors and calipers were rusty as well. One tire was
cracked and nearly bald. This is "ready"? When I entered the dealership and asked for
D. I was told that he would not be my sales person and was soon met
by another man who was rather confrontational and upset that I had
looked at the car before seeing him. When I described what I had found wrong with the car his reply was
"Thus the price." The cost of repairs to make this car drivable and safe would far outweigh the imagined "savings" .
In fact he did not even know where the car was. He asked us to wait at a desk where we waited for over ten
minutes before we gave up and left the showroom. With the construction
on Rt 95, the drive there and back was a nightmare. To say the least I was
finished with Prime at the end of our trip.

They set up test drive. Had pleasant *relatively short* conversation and test drive. They made it worth the trip.

It started out iffy but then I got a new salesperson. Rohan was excellent and Eric was not pushy at all. Everything including registration and sticker done the same day. Awesome!

As good a car buying experience as I've ever had. If I were grading on a
curve I'd give them a 5, but this is car sales and there is always the down
side of some dishonesty. The offered price on the car was excellent, but
then they tried to make it up by low balling the trade in value of our old
car. They had what they claimed was a Kelly Blue Book value that was
about $800 below the lower range of what I got on both the Kelly Blue
Book site and the Edmunds site for valuing the car even with
assumptions that the car was in worse shape than it was. Ended up
meeting them half way as that still left me with a good discount off MSRP.

After test drive, I hesitate because I thought there was a
weird sound from the engine. Then the salesman started
talking and talking and talking.... He will not let you leave
until you say you want to buy the car... I said I will consider,
he just kept talking and didn't want me to test other cars
from other dealership... He even brought his manager and
persuading me together...

My salesman was Ricaldo. He was
amazing he wasn't pushy, always

I had a very good experience working with Anthony Lotardo and
Steven Lander with regards to getting my new vehicle. I told
Anthony the vehicle I wanted that I saw on their website and

Our experience at Prime Honda was exemplary from the start. Our sales rep, Roy, was a pleasure to deal with. Low pressure, personable and accommodating. He made me want to buy a car here. We were not spending a lot of money, but that did not have any impact on the attention and time that Roy gave us. The way Prime Honda's prices it's used cars and pays it's sales reps creates a comfortable, low-key environment for the buyer. We bought a car that we are extremely happy with. I will definitely come here first the next time I am in the market for a used car.
