Great follow ups
Told this dealership that I lived two counties away prior to viewing the car. The morning I was supposed to drive out there and buy the car, a salesman called to ask if I was still coming, which I told him yes. He said great we’ll see you soon and have the car pulled up for you. Awesome. As I’m driving there (already an hour into the drive) I get another call. This time it was a woman named Ivy telling me that the car had sold the day before but that they had other options for me to view when I arrived. What kind of sales tactic is this? Getting me to drive out there KNOWING the car was sold. How dare you waste someone’s time like that? Extremely disrespectful. I had to turn around and drive an hour home and my entire day was now ruined because I had planned it around going to buy that car. I took the day off of work, that’s a day of pay I missed out on for no reason. Shame on Ontario Hyundai and shame on you too Ivy. Very unprofessional sales team.

Silver Palisade was sold prior to me arriving however robust emerals Palisade Caligraphy was available and I test drove,
however we weren't able to make the deal

The dealer is quite far from my home but they have much more Santa Cruz cars and lower price
than other Hyundai dealers with different options and colors to select. And all the staffs were very
knowledgeable and kind from the start to complete the contract. My family drove three hours to
get there twice but satisfied with the process.

I negotiated a deal prior to arriving, for about a week via the salesman Daniel (who was great, have nothing bad to say about him whatsoever) yet after waiting 2 HOURS at the dealership for Christopher Santisteban, the manager even though we arrived with a check so I'm not even financing with them, he comes over to tell us the final price has an error and now wants me to pay an additional $1,000!!
The calculation error was on their end, according to him they internally use 2 different systems to calculate your zip code specific taxes and fees and one system was $1,000 more than the other. When I questioned if you use 2 diferent systems, how would you know which one was more accurate or why not just only use one accurate system he told me "This is on ongiong known issue". This dealership did a totally bait and switch with the price once we arrived at the dealership. BEWARE
The Management at this dealership is very unprofessional and unaware of what integrity and customer care means. I am out of state and 1200 miles away. After negotiating terms with me, they refused to accept a deposit to give me a week to fly down, finish paper work, and complete payment. If that was the case they should not have taken up my time and effort negotiating terms. Most unprofessional thing I have experienced in years. Sara and Matt, the Internet Sales folks, were very responsive and are the only reason the dealership got 2 stars instead on 1 star.
They pulled a bait-and-switch -- saying they'll agree to a price and when I got there, they told me a price
thousands apart. The manager there told me it was the day manager that agreed (supposedly) to the negotiated
price by email and he can't do it. Among a few things, the biggest point of contention was the rent charge. I
was willing to pay for a deal in cash to lower the rent charge on a lease (a number that's set by the
manufacturer), but he told me when he types the numbers into the system, the rent charge rate was coming up
the same as paying monthly. I knew he was probably lying, or at the least was an idiot for someone in his
position to not be aware of something like this -- information that's fairly easily accessible through some
research. I went to another dealership the next day and got the vehicle I wanted at a price that was few
hundreds more than what I expect; and go figure -- the rent charge I received was the one I thought it was
supposed to be.

It was a great experience from Sale person Mohammad Mosaud to sales Manager and the staff was very professional, polite and helpful and the process was smooth though Finance I recommend people looking to buy a car give this dealership a chance.
Be very careful. It's sad how they try to take
advantage of people. They don't tell you the
whole truth through the ad's. They advertise a
low
price but it's a way of getting you into the
dealership. Once you are there they come out
with expensive add ons to the vehicle and will
not honor the advertised price. They wanted
to charge me almost 3k of add ons and told
me they are not able to remove them, which is
a lie, because when we were about to leave
they decided to take some off. We just left
right away. Please people don't fall for the
pressure.

Love the place, they took care of us. We found them through car gurus. They had the car we test drove it and loved it. Rola and Dennis worked out an excellent deal with us. Came in today to finish deal and drive our car home. 2019 Kia Soul Turbo. 20 miles. Paid cash and got a huge deal. Rola you were awesome with us. Good luck living in California Rola

Ryan the salesman was wonderful! Sadly I drove 5 hours out of my way to their dealership to get there a deal with horrible
management I wont state names. Who added on extra charges that totaled to over 2k and they were putting me upside down in
my trade and refused to do otherwise even though it was more valuable then stated. Salesmen are great! put prepare to have
some bad surprises when you get there.

Tracy is very nice, very patient, very accommodating and very professional. Even though I didn’t buy the car, she did her best to help me. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not her fault that I didn’t buy the car. It was my decision. She is a sweet lady. Ontario Hyundai is very fortunate to have her. If ever I need a Hyundai car in the future, this is the place where I’ll go. I will specifically look for Tracy.

Called and they gave me the price that I wanted with taxes, registration etc. and after they went over a few more details I decided to go the dealer that same week. However, when I got to the dealer they added a package and all these add on’s, which I did not want and after some “negotiations” the manager said he could work out something with me, just to come back with the EXACT same price!!! The manager stated that the new price he gave me was after he had removed the packages, however, the sales person had told me that was the price (same price the manager gave me) with the package. So he never removed anything!!! They were obviously not communicating. After they finally gave me a reasonable price I asked for the paper with all of the information to go get money from my bank and they would not give it to me so I just walked out.
Dealer prices are not true, don't be fooled and avoid this place for all cost. They would say that you will get the price that you see and after 80 miles trip at the dealership they would add to the price some extra "options" and 16000$ car will become 24000$ car with all taxes, fees and dealers additional options, that you could not avoid.

Good communication, didn't end up making a purchase because as we were in discussion they sold the vehicle. Got a message that as they were checking something on pricing for me they made a deal with someone else. This was after 3 days of emailing back and forth because I couldn't get out there with work schedule.

Was not able to make the drive all the way down there but I spoke with “David Lamm” on the phone. He took down a lot of my information & even knowing I most likely would not be able to drive that far, gave me some of the best advice I had gotten in regards to getting the most out of my vehicle. I was very impressed & even considering making long drive out there to get a new car when I am able to, because he seemed honest & genuine & after meeting with several other pushy, lying salesmen, it was refreshing and nice speaking with Mr. Lamm who took the time of day to patiently explain what he believed my options were. I know nothing about how these things work but he was able to make everything understable and clear. I would recommend if you don’t like pushy salesmen & want someone patient and honest to help you with your car purchase to go to Ontario Hyundai

The dealership was very helpful in the purchase of my car. My biggest complaint was that we spent a lot of time sitting and waiting. This was an all cash sale, no financing. Should have been faster. We got there at 11:15, and left after 3:45.

The staff at Ontario Hyundai lie to their potential customers and try to pull a bait and switch, they agree to one price over the phone then try to charge 40% more when you arrive at the dealership. ($12,400 for life of subscription + $5000 market adjustment)
I reached out to Ontario Hyundai through CarGurus.com on a 2017 Ioniq EV. I received a call from Nicholas and I explained to him that I would like to take advantage of Hyundai's Unlimited+ subscription that was $2500 down and $275 per month. Nicholas stated this car was available for this deal so I setup a time to get the car.
When I arrived at the dealer we had a test drive and while on the drive Nicholas casually mentioned a "market adjustment" and that I had to speak to someone inside.
After waiting 5 minutes a guy named Ken (I think) came up and asked me if I wanted to put $2500, $5000, or $7500 down on the car. This confused me as that was not the advertised or agreed offer and I re-clarified that I wanted the advertised and agreed $2500 down and $275 per month that is all over Hyundai's corporates website and Ontario Hyundai's website. He then tried to explain how they have the lowest mark up and that mark ups could be $5,000-$7,500. I then asked "so you want to change me $5000 extra for this car", he said yes so I walked out.
He then called me back trying to claim he was being upfront (upfront is posting the actual price online, honoring the nationally advertised price , and not agreeing to a lower price over the phone). He then tried to negotiate with me, I explained that I was lied to by his dealership so I would only take the agreed upon price of $2500 down and $275 a month. He said he didn't think his dealership would do that but that it was above his pay grade. I then asked him to put his GM on the phone and he refused. He then said he would talk to his GM and call me back.
He called me back and again stated he would not honor the agreed upon price. I am guessing he didn't actually talk to anyone since this dealership has proven they will lie and deceive to try and make a sale.
Do yourself a favor and find another dealership.

Truck looked great as advertised, they had me out of there within 3 hours in my new truck!!!
We bought this car!! Thanks to Car Gurus and helping us find such an amazing deal. The car drives smooth and has some awesome new features that our 2007 Toyota Corolla did not have. A HUGE thank you to Herbert at the dealership for making this an easy transaction for us and not pushing us to add on any extras. We chose the extended warranty because we know that is important but he did not try to force us to buy anything extra and he also hurried to get us out of there by noon as we had prior engagements. Thanks Car Guru and also Herbert and the Hyundai Dealership of Ontario.

Found a good deal on a used Corolla here. Hunter was very easy going and non-threatening. They were patient with us as we had difficulty getting our proof of insurance card. Only issue was a little hiccup with a few extra fees showing up on the final bill for extra services that we had declined. They ironed it out quickly. Would return here again.

Pushy!!!!! Kept pushing for me to set an appointment to come in
and talk with a salesperson without ever asking what I wanted
or what I was looking for. Received a couple of call from two
different sales agents and both were just pushy and never
seemed concerned what I needed or wanted. Never asked me
any questions just kept pushing me to set an appointment.
