I wouldn't recommend going to this dealership. I was looking to use my truck as a trade in and finance the remaining balance. Thats what I told the salesman.. to let people know. I have the money to pay the truck off completely but. ( I was trying to fix my credit). After letting the salesman know what my plan was with my vehicle, I got ignored. Then a few days later. I received an email about the price drop. So I called to inquire about it. The manager picked up. I explained the reason for my call. He hands the phone to one of his sales team. I got asked my name and number so they can call me back in 5 minutes. . Never heard from them again. In a few days, I will be heading to a car lot to buy a vehicle outright. Its not worth the hassle to deal with loans or salesman to build up your credit.

Pete and Omar are the most helpful and honest people at Otocity in Totowa, NJ. I already bought 2 SUVs from them
and they took care of me. When you put a deposit on a car, they will never sell it to another person even thought the
new customer is willing to buy it for more. No pressure at all. Omar always says: "take your time, my friend" or "buy
something that you truly like".

The dealer fees was outrageously high, manipulated the loan option to make it impossible to secure, and they desperately want cash payment. Awesome field workers, good representatives, but there are hidden fees by the dealer which makes it difficult to purchase.

They make misleading advertising since on the page they have the price of 7,971.00 but when you go to the dealer they charge you absurd charges and raise the price to 12,470.00. The truth is that for me he is not a reliable dealer.

No one walked up to me to ask if I need help I had an appointment to see this van and when I got there it wasn’t even ready to be test driven or looked at the person at the front desk said it was next door at the mechanic shop walked away saying I’ll be in the office never got a call back or a follow up

Horrible experience!!! I inquired about a 2010 Nissan Altima on a Monday. Winnert from the dealership texted
me that same Monday advising that the car was still available and when would I like to come and look at it. I
told him that Saturday. He kept in touch with me all week through text messages. Friday, I read the reviews for
this "dealership" and they were not impressive. I called Winnert Saturday morning to see if the vehicle was still
there and was told "yes, but it needs a transmission". When I questioned him about why he didn't mention
anything to me during the past week, since we had been in touch since Monday, he said "oh, I've been busy"
and hung up the phone on me!! Horrendous!!! Beware of this so-called dealership!

If I could give this guy negative 50 stars I
would. The pictures of the car that were
posted showed some slight cosmetic damage
on one of the seats, but nothing else. We told
him we were driving over an hour each way
and he encouraged us to come in. My
husband went all the way there and every seat
in the car was not only cosmetically damaged
but also functionally destroyed except for one.
Engine lights were on on the dashboard, a tire
was flat and the engine was super loud
(indicating big problems). By the time my
husband got back from test driving it out of
curiosity, Pete wasnât even there anymore. He
had left. An entire day wasted for no reason.

Wish I could give negative stars We emailed some then I called them They assured me the chevy equinox was perfect no problems at all come and see it So Mon I call and said I'll be there Tuesday and that I will call them when I leave and that it takes me a little over 2 hrs to get there. I pick up my family travel the 2+hrs and I greeted with" the car isn't here but it's on it's way go eat something and come back should be here in 30 minutes"We leave to find where to drop the rental off at and come back and still waited We has to wait 2 hours for the car to get there Then I see all the problems Low tire pressure leaking antifreeze somewhere all four light lenses are cracked missing pieces on the interior head light and turn signal are out We never even took it for a test drive Then we sit down and talk numbers. The advertised price was $12,97 they try to sell it to me for $14,500 if I fix it myself $14,800 if they fix it said it would be done by Friday they will call me never called.
First impression, their response times were slower than most, and the staff with whom I
did have contact were not the clearest communicators. However, the lack of stellar
communication alone doesn't earn them a one star review. After multiple attempts from
me trying to get more information, I finally felt comfortable enough to get a pre-
purchase inspection. Now, credit where credit is due, they were willing to work with me
to get the car to a independent mechanic for inspection. However, it was only after I
had paid for the inspection, and was ready to move forward with the purchase, that
they informed me of the additional $1,835.00 in dealer "fees". One could argue I should
have secured the final price before getting the inspection. Maybe so, but I think it
demonstrates a significant lack of integrity for the dealer to let the customer invest
monetarily without disclosing that the final cost will be 30% higher than advertised. I felt
lied to. So, not a good experience.

I have a love hate for this dealership. I love the Audi but can’t afford it. I saw a explorer that fit within my budget. The truck was on the site for a while. When I asked to come and see it, I was told it’s in the shop. I strongly didn’t believe that. The front desk service was good. I can’t say about the car cause I never saw it.

Very professional and helpful
2017 Santa Fe Sport Ultimate, 104k miles,
$15,971. I test drove it and I loved it. BUT
during the
test drive, my bank called to notify they
would only
approved $14,000 due to the mileage and
being out
of warranty. I told the sales person, Pete,
and then
he's like "Sure, we can work with that, it's
not far
off." Which was great, I was thinking
[Finally a nice
good sales person] but then, "So just take
the
$14,000 from the bank and then you just
have to
put $3,500 down" was said...
Well fees on $14,000 is $1,120, so,
$2,380(and
because I'm in New York, they couldn't
calculate the
taxes in) in fees sounded a little high.
Especially
considering I bought a new 2020 Sonata
from a
dealer in NY last year and paid less in
fees, and
previously a $19k car last year and still
had less
fees.
Would not recommend.
My experience with this dealer was great Pete and Omar are really cool guys, i end up buying a 2015 Odyssey. Pete went threw the whole car with explaining a small issue related to a minor accident which it was really not a big deal that along makes me trust them for a future purchase. I ask Pete of a few things that i needed addressed with the vehicle and he immediately said no worries ill take care of it. These guys are great and have decent prices on vehicles. Im glad everything worked out with the vehicle. Highly recommend this dealer also prices are very competitive.

Pete was very dismissive and rude, looked at me like I’m stupid, the picture of the car looks good but in person it’s not the same, There were rust marks on the car, the paint on the roof and the passenger side doors were fading and when I pointed out that to him he said “if you think we are going to negotiate it’s not going to happen” just a horrible experience. I would not recommend anyone to go there. Don’t waste your time.. HORRIBLE!!!!

I took my girlfriend to purchase this car, she did buy it and on the 3rd
day it stalled, started making noises,took it to the car wash and water
poured into the car through the sunroof. We email them to no reply Itâs
been approximately 13 day. I called and spoke to someone Omar,
Pete and Amir and they want me to spend money out my pocket for
problem the car obviously had and the tried to hide.

The staff at Otocity was extremely helpful to us! The day we seen their car, we contacted them and they responded every day to check up on our progress. The vehicle was in great shape and performed as expected. Minor cosmetic issues were not mentioned in the ad. The car was (and still is) very clean inside and out. When I lifted the hood, I couldnt believe how clean it was. It looked like it had just left the original dealership. It was that clean. The staff themselves had worries about our credit, but took extra steps in securing us a loan to boost our credit. Thank you especially to Omar and Ameer for your persistance and kindness. Broken manifold and bolts broken off. Driver's seat was taken apart.
Driver's area was badly scarred. Flat tires that needed to be replaced
Second truck: I looked at a Tahoe 09' had heavy rust through body starting. They wanted over $10,000 for that.

Worst dealer ever I went on memorial day
weekend Saturday. today is Jun 16 2019 I was
about to buy dodge ram 2010 blue for $11000
everything was OK until I find that fuel gauge
won't work oil gauge won't work and alternator
gauge won't work, so I tell Sam I can't buy like
that he told me he is going to get it fix that is not
problem and that is good. So I leave a deposit of
a $1000 and later I deposit in the account of
OTOCiTY another $3500 . I was going to put
$8500 as down payment the rest I want to
finance but they want me to lie about the
business of my wife so I did my own finance
what they don't tell is that if the deal won't come
true they take $1000 and return the $3500. I did
not do the deal $1590 dealer fees for fixing the
truck plus $495 on paperwork that is crazy they
take $1000 and sam is now sending emails to
my wife being racist that he is going to report irs
immigration he said watch and learn treating my
wife this is the worst dealer they don't like the
truth

Communication was great, but the additional fees was ridiculous, the final price on an internet price of $4300 is $5800 and I'm paying the tax
in NY, so it would lost me close to $7000 for $4300 car. I checked around and purchased a lexus from another dealership where the fee is
only $300 above the internet price and the fee ranges from $300 to $500 from other dealerships.

I would give zero stars if it were an option -would never return, small lot, claimed this vehicle was available then when I was on my way it was sold...I approached the 'gentleman' inside & said Hi if you're xxx we spoke earlier he said that depends on who you are..hmmmm. Do your homework, know a fair amount about cars if you're going here & use google earth & decide if its really worth the trip to see a few cars in need of repair.

They responded quickly however, they are applying a misleading tactic in order for you to seek them out. They advertise one price online, but then tell you that they are selling the vehicle at a whole sale price and there are additional fees which do not including taxes title and registration fees. In all the vehicle would cost over 1100 dollars more than the advertised price. It gets your hopes up if you are on a tight budget. It's not illegal but it is misleading. I do appreciate being told this information before attempting to make the drive out there. Grateful for their honesty.

I contacted Oto City on a Monday asking for the carfax for a car I was
interested in. My message was promptly responded to, asking when I
would be able to come to look at the car. I explained that I unfortunately
lived several hours away from the dealership and wouldn't be able to come
look at the car any time soon, but wanted to see the carfax (or any kind of
vehicle history report) first to get an idea of the car's condition before
making the trek out to look at it. The contact for the dealership told me that
was fine and that he would get back to me with the carfax. I didn't hear
anything until 2 days later when I asked again about the carfax, and was
once again told that he was working on getting it for me. That was a full
week ago, and I haven't heard anything since from the dealership despite
several emails back to that person asking about the situation.
If the carfax was unavailable, that's fine - just let me know that you don't
have it and we can go from there. Please don't give customers the run-
around and then stop responding altogether. It reflects pretty poorly on you
as a company and tells me that your dealership isn't worth my time or my
business.
