They weren't transparent at all regarding the van
First it was in inspection even though the vehicle has been on their lot over 100 days.
Second I called again a day later to be told the vehicle was sold.
Then I was told the vehicle wasn't sold but was being sent to the auction because they've had the vehicle for too long.
The communication was not good.
After contacting this dealership several times about this particular vehicle. An appointment was made to see the car. Since I live 3 hours away my son took the afternoon off work to see the vehicle. Once arriving at the scheduled time my son was informed that the Subaru outback had sold a week prior. But low and behold another vehicle at a higher price was available. Typical used car dealer bait and switch. I'm glad I didn't take the day off and drive 3 hours to see a car that had long been sold. I may have wound up in jail. No! I do not recommend this dealership or the salesman named Bilal.

I drove 1 and 1/2 hr. Just to find out was supposedly sold the same day after receiving a call 4 day later asking if I was interested and after making an appointment to go see it and potentially buy it they tell me it was sold. But to make things even worse they tell me to wait that they will help me and show me others suv I might be interested just to be left standing for 1/2 hr. Very unprofessional and not straight forward and very bad customer service.
Shoutout Khalif over at National motors in Ellicott city!!! Best salesman I ever experienced, real cool and laid back and very transparent about everything. I did my application online and was called back instantly with an approval and came in and picked up my vehicle. They have a wonderful finance guy named David who helped me get a great deal I would recommend this place to everyone. They were awesome over at national motors, thank you!!!

I found a bunch of cars within my budget at National Motors so I sent an inquiry through Cars.com. The dealership promptly contacted me to answer my questions about the car and financing. The sales rep was very knowledgeable about their inventory, financing options which put me at ease. I decided to submit a credit application prior to our test drive to make sure I was approved and knew my budget. When I came in for my test drive the same sales rep I spoke to on the phone made sure each of the cars of interest were ready for me to drive. After driving a few different cars and had a few favorites, I was a bit overwhelmed by my options. The sales rep was so patient vs pushy (like most dealerships) which put me at ease to make a good buying decision. Their finance team worked hard and got creative to get me approved for financing despite my bad credit!
I highly recommend this dealership for anyone shopping for luxury used cars on a budget!

It took a few days before someone got in-touch with me. I scheduled a test drive for what I thought was the intended car, instead I was presented with another car with a broken window. I asked about the status of the car I was here to test drive, they could not locate it. Not sure I would venture back there again!

Whatever you do get the Carfax on their vehicles because the auto check they say they stand behind is a complete lie! A lot of their vehicles have been in major accidents!
I purchased a car from them & I absolutely love it! Brian is awesome! He assisted me with my purchase, answered all of my questions and was very kind & professional. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it’s a little difficult to reach them via telephone, however, I had a great experience with them overall.

This dealer has the vehicle I wanted and I the price was acceptable but when they sent me the sheet for purchase the price of the car had gone up and extra $1000. I asked about this and they said it is ta fee the dealer charges. Strange the fee would not be itemized in lines below the purchase price like other charges. I have had other buy sheets from dealers and they do not do this.Sounds pretty strange to me.
They are simply not interested in selling the car, they are trying to sell some fees.
Sales manager straight up said that, they're not making any money on the car, only making money on fees. Plus not showing or describing all the damages on the car. Would not recommend buying any car from them. Oh wait they aren't interested in selling cars.

Came to purchase the car on a Monday, they were taking extremely long just to get me the
purchase order for the vehicle so i told them to just email it to me so i could get it to my
bank. 48 hrs go by still no purchase order from them. When i finally get them on the phone
they send it to me but tried to increase the price of the vehicle by $3000. Couldn't provide
with any reasoning why the price increase and what it was in relation to just said it was a
"reconditioning fee" whatever that is. So why isnt that on the purchase order or written
anywhere in the pricing with dealer fees, warranty etc etc. The dealership literally just tried
to get over on me and charge 30% more after i left out. Completely shady on their end. He
offered to take $2k off but still couldn't explain where this extra $1k was coming from.

I had a capital one pre-approval I went with which led to easy financing , their inventory was great, they had the best sports car selection within their area , staff was very knowledgeable about the cars they were selling and I ended up with a far better than most other dealers were offering , thank you National Motors.

After contacting many dealers, I selected National Motors for their Great Customer Service, knowledge and advice on certain vehicles I had questions about, Honesty, Integrity and willingness to work with me regarding logistics and transport. My Salesperson is Mohammed, and I would recommend him to family members and friends, for a honest and pleasurable vehicle purchase. He responded quickly to questions and was able to close the deal within my time frame.
When paperwork was presented the dealer did not honor posted online price but instead upped the price 2000$. Also had hundreds in fees all lumped in one with no accounting of what the fees represented. There was undisclosed body damage, pretty severe. This after confirming there were no issues. Taking a longer than planned test drives revealed two trouble lights on the dash that would not have been covered by their 30 day mechanical warranty. CG indicated the vehicle had been for sale for 194 days. The sales lady told me two months.
They were all nice, though complete unorganized. What should have been an hour process was 3.5 to 4 hours just to find out they are running a scam and trying g to prey on those with lesser credit by offering 17.99% financing.
We were going to pay cash. So, I guess that's why the elevated pricing.
Anyway, I would avoid this dealership, not honest. When a purchase is near forty grand you want to deal with honest upfront people. 8 hour round trip 4 this.
Received one response to my inquiry & they sent 2 follow up emails. In all of the 3 emails I received, NONE of them addressed my questions in my initial inquiry. I requested pricing info and pics of the vehicle. In their responses they never once addressed those. Just generic (probably automated) emails asking if I received their response and did they answer my questions. WELL NO, YOU DIDN'T ANSWER THEM & STILL HAVEN'T. With communication like this, I'd recommend avoiding this dealer.
Dealer did contact me the next day and I went to see the vehicle in question. It had been sold by the time I got there but the sales rep found
another vehicle of the same model (minvan) that I was interested in. The second vehicle was a newer model and management was able to
work out financing the was within my budget. This was a very good experience and I look forward to possibly shopping with National Motors
of Ellicott City again.
Horrible experience with this dealer. I find a van I am GOING to buy and they insist I bring my truck in for a trade value (2018 Silverado) So I
bring the truck in, test drive the sprinter to then set there and wait almost two hours for a trade value. I get tired of waiting so my wife and I go
to dinner to never even hear back from the dealer. I even texted the sales person to let them know we are leaving and not even a response.
We had down payment and financing already taking care of before even showing up. You show up ready to buy with no customer service

Absolutely horrible. Car was in bad shape when had checked at the local car dealer. Had to put
money in the car even though they supposedly took car back to fix an expensive part which
should have been fixed initially and never gave us paperwork of the repair. Sold us warranty
close to $4,000 and never pointed out that if we sold car, no refund back due to only if car total or
reposessed, Never heard of such a thing and this was not communicated. We had for less than 2
months and put more money in it than can imagine. So disappointing. Requested call back from
the owner and no return call.
This has to be one of the most unprofessional dealerships in the DMV. They have no clue what’s going on in there dealership. They can’t find keys to there vehicles, there not organized at all. They promise that the car is yours even when you offer to put half the money down tell they fix the issue with it. Then they sale the car to someone else without even a phone call to you to say the car is ready for pick up. The GM then avoids your call and has a salesman tell you they sold your car. Really professional

Very prompt and attentive service - I received follow-up as soon as I inquired about a specific listing. The gentleman who assisted me with was friendly and easy to work
with. I was very disappointed, however, when the paperwork came out and I learned about the higher-than-average ADM there. Title and registration fees are completely
standard but this was a high, inexplicable added fee that resulted in me walking away.
Very quick responder but seemed annoyed when I told him the 2 vehicles I really liked needed parts that they have been trying to get for 2 months. He asked what other vet might want him to inform me about if the receive any in and I proceed to tell him and he seemed more annoyed about the details I was going into. I must have broken up the coffee clatch group waiting for a quick easy sale!!

Called about a vehicle on a Saturday morning they responded that the car was being inspected but would be back later that afternoon. Had stopped by anyway to look at another vehicle listed on their lot and it wasn’t there either. They never returned the call to let me know the first vehicle made it back to the lot. Ended up buying elsewhere.

I just purchased a Chevy Silverado from National Motors and it was by far the best car
buying experience I ever had! I have never purchased a car via Car Gurus and I was a bit
apprehensive. Rob contacted me and walked me through the entire process. He was very
patient and took the time to answer all my questions. I live 1 1/2 hours away and Rob
recognized that and worked around my schedule. When I arrived Henry took over and he
also took time to walk me through the process, being patient to answer my questions and
explain everything in detail. To top this off, the price I ended up purchasing the truck for
was incredible. I did a lot of research before committing to this vehicle and I can say with
confidence that I got an unbelievable deal. I would recommend National Motors without

Henry was so great at helping me pick out my new vehicle. He made the process easy and
fast. I had a test drive at 9 am and was driving off the lot with my Jeep Compass at 11:30. The
dealership was clean and friendly. Highly recommend this awesome dealership!
Not enough information to rate. I did speak with Henry about a discrepancy in price between the Cargurus posted price and their website price which was $2000 more but included a guestimated price on a 1 year warranty. This kind of thing is what discourages me from driving 5 hours to drive the vehicle but i do understand is part of the fni game at the end of a transaction at a dealership.
I wasted my time visiting this dealership. They told me that the price listed on CarGurus was wrong and that I should have
looked up the price on their website, which was $1,500 higher! Once I objected, the nice attitude of the finance manager
quickly changed to mean. So it turns out that "Great Deal" assigned by Cargurus was in fact a "Good Deal". I believe the
dealership intentionally misrepresented pricing to pull unsuspecting customers in.
I called about the car and they told me that it was at the Infiniti dealership. Would not say what was wrong with the car. Told me they would call me back when it was back and someone did. When I told them I lived out of state the guy said he needed to call me back and two weeks later still no call. No customer service at all

Yes, but didn't answer the questions I asked and tried to get me to the dealership which is about 30 minutes away.
Initially I reached out via about a vehicle I was interested in. I was contacted within a day and was told who my contact person would be along with a phone number. I reached out via phone and spoke to either Ron/ Rob about the carfax that overlooked on cargurus. I told him I'd like to schedule a test drive for Sunday (3/7/21) between 11 and 12. He assured me that it wouldn't be a problem and to notify them that I would be there. I was texted from a (410) area code and if the rest of the number needs to given I can do that via email. Once I was sure I texted back "I'll be there". I drove an hour to then find out that the car had already been sold. The kicker is I looked at the vehicle Saturday night with no update about the sale. Needless to say I feel the car must not have been for me but this lack of communication has me leary of dealing with them in the future. No hard feelings

Nice facility, Very easy to schedule test drive, nice follow up. I was looking at different models as I am just starting the process and no pressure. The reconditioning fee of $1,500 added to price is steep but that is stated clearly.
Overall a really great experience. Rob went above and beyond to
get me financed even with less then stellar credit. The vehicle was
in great shape and even better than the pictures. My only complaint
is that the sale price of the vehicle was a bit higher than it was listed
for. Being as though I have dealer experience I understand that the
bank had a minimum price requirement to approve the loan but that
should have been disclosed prior to the time to sign paperwork.
That aside, I would recommend this dealer to anyone, just verify the
price before signing anything.

Thanks for making owning a good car possible. When I started looking I just wanted a good car and
had little idea what make or model. The manager there took a lot of time with me and had me test
drive different cars so that I could get a feel for what I really wanted. He was very nice like that.
When I picked out my Subaru (known for safety and reliable) he put a lot of effort into making my
payments fit my budget and soon thereafter I was driving that Subaru home I feel as if I got a great

Will not nor ever deal with this dealer!! They are
not honest salesmen. I donâÂÂt even want to give
them a 1 Star. Bought a car from them have the
sale agreement, the car needed to have radiator
fixed. They were suppose to us on Monday to let
us know when can the car up. No one called.
Called them on Tuesday and said that something
else is wrong and they had order a part it will
come in Monday. Of course no one called us. Call
them on Tuesday and they the part didnâÂÂt come

yet. My husband called on Thursday for a follow
left a message for Matt the manager to call. Matt
never returned his call. On Friday the salesman
called my husband and was him

While we were trying to replace the radiator, our technician noticed that the water pump was also defective. While trying to replace the water pump we noticed that because of the malfunction of the radiator and water pump, the engine had really over heated and now the engine was bad. Vehicle was over priced, they ran paperwork for financing, the vehicle went from 23,500 listing price to 29,000, over 1,000 in fees and a bunch more taxes and fees added on (including tags and title.) Upon a second look of the vehicle after they had detailed it showed damage to the entire passenger side that the carfax did not disclose, vehicle had been sideswiped and someone attempted to fix it. Definitely a bad overall experience, I would not buy from this dealer. Salesman Jamil was very nice though.

Thank God I know a thing or two about cars and what they should sound like! The 2013 Silver
Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium I looked at - advertised for $9700 needed a new transmission!
National Motors Inc after all their add on's wanted me to pay $12,000 after confirming it needed a
new transmission but they would not be able to install a new one until 6-8 weeks pass for parts to
arrive! When I first commented about the "noise" they said it was wind! BS!!! Someone is going to

Responsive. Kept in touch. Car is as nice as advertised. I bought a different one because of color only.
I called to discuss the car, but they were not willing to tell me the "recon fee" charge over the
phone. The manager said several times that the fee was negotiable, but wouldn't say how much
they would tack onto the list price. If you're local, it might be worthwhile visiting but anyone with a
drive don't bother.

They lied about the price of the vehicle. When I first asked to test drive the car they said no, then tried charging me almost $3600 in service fees. The best part is I told them I was driving over 4 hours to see this car. Huge waste of my time. It's unbelievable that they're still in business

Alan the assistant sales manager made the experience quick and delightful.
Terrible dealer. Setup appt with dealer, confirmed twice and showed up and car wasnt there. It was an hour away. Plus like so many other dealers these days they are putting a low internet price to get you in and then they add a reconditioning fee that isn’t always up front. Bait and switch. I drove two hours to see the vehicle.

Sounds like they have children working there. First call, the kid obviously had friends
hanging around and laughing... no help... left me on hold so long I hung up. Next day,
another kid told me the car was not on the lot, it's in the "trailer'... ergo... "I can't see it?"
After checking the Yelp reviews, I'm staying far away.

The car was already under contract. The sales person indicated he
had access to another car just like it but had to get in delivered from
another location. Seemed interested to do business but the timing
wasn’t right.
I inquired about 1 car at this dealership. After providing all my information and driving 45 mins out the way to come to this dealership for a car I was told I was APPROVED for. I arrived to the dealership and was told I do not qualify for the vehicle. Meanwhile I waited 2 hours and texted the sales manager Kenneth who is the person who told me to come in.... he never acknowledged me or return my text( although we were texting the entire day) I left very upset that my time was wasted. This dealership harrassed me for 3 days afterwards promising that they would get me in a car i liked if I came back and gave them another try. Once I finally decided to come in (Bryan) the car salesmen who called me 10x a day trying to make a sale never came to help me (Because he was helping other customers although I scheduled an appointment to come in). I contacted National Motors about a Chrysler 300C that had been on CarGurus for 160 days. I was told it was
there and ready to go. I drove 2 hours with cash in hand only to be told the car was being checked out, then it
had oil issues, then it was run without oil and had a bad tranny... Then they tried to sell me different vehicles. I've
been a professional mechanic for 28 years and have worked at several car lots and have never seen such
deceptive business practices. 1. Why would you lie about a car being ready for sale if it had never been checked
out? 2.Why would a car that had been on the lot for over 160 days not have been checked out? 3. Why would
you let anybody drive two hours to see a car that had not been checked out? 4. To try and sell someone a car
after you lied and wasted their time is just plan stupid. No dealer is this uneducated about good sales practices
and procedures. Just dishonest sales practices

Horrible experience. Dealer told me the car I called about was sold.
Then, offered another similar vehicle which seemed like a decent
alternative. On that day (Wednesday), I communicated my interest and
scheduled an appointment (Friday) to test drive the vehicle with the intent
to purchase the car if the test drive was successful. Called to confirm
appointment and that the car was still available on both Thursday and
Friday morning. Jeff assured me it was. I arrived to the car dealer as
scheduled to be met by Jeff stating that the car was sold earlier that
morning. He then tried to sell me a vehicle with 30,000 more miles than
the car I inquired about. I had read reviews from customers who had
similar experiences with Natl Motors. Makes you wonder if they even
have the vehicles that they advertise on your site or is it just a scam to
get you in to buy a higher priced, higher mileage vehicle. I have
purchased 4 vehicles and this was the worst car buying experience by
far. And the Manager was of no help, he just went along with Jeff's
program......I wouldnt spend a dime there! Dont waste your time or get
your hopes up!!!!

I found a car that I really liked online. I emailed and called the dealership before making the 48 mile drive from York, PA, to be sure the car was still in inventory and available. It was. When I got there no one could find the car. They made no effort to do so, either. After reading other reviews I am wondering if the car actually existed in the first place! It was a very bad experience.

When i traveled to National Motors, 2 of the vehicles I went to see, were sold prior to my arrival. I saw one other vehicle that I liked, but they couldn't find the keys to it. It was a wasted trip.
Last year I bought a Dodge Charger from this dealer. Trust me this dealership is shady at best. Car was not ready when I purchased and took weeks till I picked it up. Ended up picking it up before they got all the stuff fixed as I needed the car. They told me several times the car was ready when it was not. Many wasted trips to see the car not fixed or not even at the dealership. To this day I never got some things taken care of. I will warn you to check everything. For instance, just because it says it has it, don't mean it actually works. For me the xm radio feature is broken, they could not fix it because they said they didn't know how. Floor mats were not there, spare tire was shredded beyond belief, truck kept popping open which I had to fix myself since they couldn't. I would not recommend them. I assume a lot of advertised cars are not ready, they can't handle repairs. They want you to buy the car as is and forget about repairs. If you buy there, make sure everything works, even the small stuff, don't count on them being honest or having the knowledge to fix agreed upon items that are broken!

Upon arrival, the car I went to see was "sold" and gone, then we looked at another car, and learned about their $1,495.00 processing fee they add to the price! I will never dtep foot on their lot again!
Its amazing to me that I inquired about a specific car, and every dealer who
responded back, failed to not provide a link to the car I inquired about. I
don't have time to go back to the lists and figure it out. My thoughts for
dealers - its worse than if you did not get back to someone at all.

I called National Motors about a car they

they had the car. I drove do the dealer
and was there within an hour. The
salesman told me the car was sold.
Then tried to sell me a different car.
Five days later the car is still listed on
line for sale. I told my co workers about
my experience and I found that this
exact situation happened to one of
them! I would not recommend driving
from any distance to see a vehicle that
National "Bait and Switch"... I mean,
Motors had advertised....

VERY POOR SERVICE, I drove over an hour to a appointment
when I pulled up another customer was pulling off in the car. As I
entered the dealer the sales men was very unprofessional. I
guess after the other guy quoted his insurance for the car he
didn't want it by then they was calling me to come back. I'm very
glad I didn't purchase a car from this dealer. I would NOT
recommend this dealer, it's a waist of TIME and MONEY.

We drove almost two hours to see the car. When we arrived we
were surprised by the location...not a huge car lot but a small hole
in the wall with barely enough room for the cars. The best is yet to
come though..the car wasn't there. The sales person who came
out to greet us had a knowing look on his face and stated that
there were three locations and that WE should have
called...hmmmm....wellll...how was I to know there were three
locations?? The car was advertised at THIS address. The way I
see it, it is their responsibility to tell the potential customer that
there are three locations and specify where the car really is. Duh!
I called them initially to ask a question about making an inter
state purchase. This would have been the opportune time for
them to advise me that there are indeed three locations and make
sure the car I wanted to see was at the one I was going to..but no
one said anything...so we drive almost two hours one way and
were advised that the other location was another 11/2 hour away.
What a waste of time! If I could give minus 5 stars I would.

week into it i noticed the car
needed a few very minor fixes
that were covered under warranty.
I would call and ask to speak with
someone about bringing it in for
repairs to which I would be put on
hold for 10 to 15 minutes at a
time, told that someone would
call me back and then they never
would. It took me three weeks of
calling and showing up at national
motors to finally get a time a
appointment to get my car fixed.

Very unprofessional dealership. first they mislead over the phone
about the status of the car as It was already sold or non-existent.
After calling to the dealership they tried to sell a lot more expensive
car. We were not interested and the upper management made
unwarrented racial comments on the ethenic groups. I would not
recommend any respected person to do business with such
insensitive dealership.

wanted with some negotiations (fairly painless) in the end
unfortunately the car my wife really wanted was elsewhere.
However we recommended National to our friend who was also

Called the dealership the same morning we decided to go over. We explained it would be 2 hours before we got there because we had that long of a drive but wanted to make sure the car was still in stock. Come to find out the car was already sold and the salesman would not be up front about when it sold, even though all other dealerships have/had been open about that information when it happened to us in the past. Also the guy we spoke to on the phone wasn't even available at the location to talk to and "couldn't be reached". Then they proceeded to try to sell us different cars, that were not even the same make as the one we went to see, because they wanted to try to make things 'right'. We also had to be driven to a seperate lot to look at their inventory, as the cars for sale where not located in the same place as their office was. Overall a very big dissappointment for a 2 hour plus drive.
