Angel was in constant communication but when we showed up at the dealership (at the time I said I would be there and that he confirmed) he was nowhere to he found. We sat for ten minutes with no one helping us. Test drove the car and I will preface this by saying I am not a car person - there was so clearly something wrong with this car. It was shaking above 50 mph and every time you came to a stop and started again the car would struggle. Before driving it, I asked why it had been sitting on the lot and the response was "I guess no one is looking for a 2014 RAV4 right now". Sir, this is one of the most popular cars you can get. Just a huge waste of time.

Disappointing experience. It was clear the focus was solely on making a sale—not on earning a customer’s trust. I was told that pricing on a pre-owned vehicle was “non-negotiable,” which contradicts standard industry practice. When I pointed out that a 5–7% negotiation range is typical, the sales manager became defensive and dismissive, claiming no dealer could stay in business with such discounts.
Let’s be honest—dealerships make substantial profit through financing and add-ons. The refusal to even have a fair pricing discussion felt disingenuous. This kind of approach may work for one-off transactions, but it doesn’t build long-term relationships. Disappointed, but not surprised.

DO NOT BUY HERE. Positive feedbacks are pressured onto customers during negotiations, so don't let then fool you. 23k purchase with very low miles. 1 werk of owning, alternator goes out and pulleys had to be replaced. Purchased a warranty for nothing because they said it was pre-existing and now the dealership has ghosted me.
Tried to negotiate a good price for this vehicle. Did all the research on what they paid, what it’s worth, and asking price.
Based on the condition of the car…. Cosmetic, needs new tires fairly soon, and tried to sell me a car with a BROKEN ENGINE MOUNT.
Of course, like every dealer, they try to talk you into al the extras and walk around the price to distract you and sucker you.
At the end of the day, they lost an eyesore car sale over $200. They alerts still making money on this deal but because dealers are marking up used cars like crazy, they were that still on this old vehicle that had a BROKEN ENGINE MOUNT on top of it.

This dealership uses ads as a bait and switch just to get your feet on their lot, then they try to sell you whatever they have available. They used a 2008 Ford Edge Limited AWD To get me on their lot, the vehicle was sold already. I have no idea when it was sold but I do know that the ad is still currently available bringing in new traffic. Not a good way to run a business for a long time anyway.

Salesperson never got back to me after my proposal and request for a quote on another car. I went to test drive the car, he was not there, and
no one could find the car.
Showed up for our appt. and sat there for some time. Finally the greeter took us to the car. When we asked questions she did not know
answers for us. Not her fault as she was the greeter, not the salesperson. It was not washed and a key scratch on one of the doors was
not repaired. Went for the test drive, got back and waited to find out the car was already sold. What a waste of time.They said there was
another car, a trade in that day so we waited and drove that one also. We got back to the dealership and we still had not met our
salesperson. Finally when we said we were leaving he came over to apologize. Who knows if he was sincere or not at that point. Not only
would I not go back to this dealership , I am not sure I would ever try a Mazda again.
Walter Woods was a very knowledgeable and honest salesman. He went above and beyond my expectations to sale me a car for my nephew! Although my nephew eventually chose another vehicle my time speaking back and forth with Walter was great. I would definitely recommend Schaumburg Mazda do to the fact how Mr Woods took care of me and my nephew!

Horrible .....Called and set up a test
drive for the following day and told
the salesmen that I was 2 hours
away. The salesman called me back
later at 5:00 p.m. asking me to come
up tonight because someone else
was looking at the car and the car
was so nice that it might get sold.
Told him AGAIN that I was 2 hours
away and that wouldn't work. Then
he texted me at 11 o'clock at night
telling me the car was still for sale..
Drove 2 hours to test drive the car
which was very dirty inside.
Salesman said he would go in and
work numbers on the car. The car
was listed for 8,687.00 dollars. He
comes back with $2000 added to the
price without even adding the Taxes
and title fees. So....final # to walk out
the door with the car was over
10,500.00.
Good experience, just remember that there are significant fees that come with buying a car at a dealership. A used car at this price point might be better going private party but I got a decent
deal on this car so I could accept the fees. Also they wouldn't let me take the car to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. The car turned out to be in great condition and they didn't try to
scam me into anything so I'm leaving a good review.

Called them up, explained that I wanted to trade in a car that I owed money on, to upgrade to a 4wd vehicle for the winter , told them about 2012 ford escape. I said I could put 350$ down, they Said yeah no problem!!! I drive over an hour to get there , and they kinda hinted that I was out of my mind and I needed at least 4000$ down, even though I have good credit. Smh, why tell me yes on the phone , and tell me different when I get there? They basically thought they could probably talk me into a bigger down payment and wasted my only 1 day I get off a week. The vehicle was in decent shape.

of increasingly hostile emails that are from this dealer's internet department.

The sales people that contacted me were trying to do their job. The finance
person Mike was rude, and at one point stated the deal wasn't going to done
even though a price was agreed upon. Don't think I would go back to this
dealership.

The sales person gave me a price that was the basis for my
husband and I making an appointment to go purchase the
vehicle. Before driving an hour to get there, I called to confirm
the price and the appointment time and the manager would not
stand by the price the salesman had quoted. I cancelled our
appointment. Needless to say, we lost respect for that
dealership.
Negative 10. Worse possible experience ever!!!! Ran my credit, took half of my down payment. I returned the next day with rest of $ they held me until closing just to tell me I needed more money down and to trade in my old vehicle. When I refused to trade in my vehicle they held my money. I returned again the next day Weds and they said they only give refunds on Tuesdays. I was there Tuesday. This place is full of crap.

Enjoyed the very enthusiastic sales consultant Eric. Unfortunately I couldn't get to terms with the sales manager about enough price reduction because of the water issue (3 inch of water in the car). I went to another dealer and bought a 528xi there.

car like that without repairing the major issues.

So unhelpful to deal with until they realized that I was actually
interested in the car and called the showroom manager to
complain. Had no interest in me checking out the car with a local
mechanic. Made the whole process so difficult and the car they
had was sitting on the lot for over 3 months with many price
drops. I was willing to fly in to see the car and they actually
wanted my flight information to hold the car! Too bad.

They are extremely lacking in quality information and half of the employees there are liars. It was a terrible experience and I will never again go there looking for a vehicle unless the place has been wiped clean of almost everyone that works there currently.

Vehicle had excessive body damage. Original ignition keys not present. Remote entry missing, keyless entry code unknown, air bag lights Illuminated, Tachometer not functional. dealer unwilling to make a reasonable deal.

Sales people were pushy and spend a lot of time talking without really getting anywhere. We were looking to buy a car and didn't make one iota of progress to that end during the 1.5 hours we were there. We ended up going to another Mazda dealer and buying a car there.

Sales associate was very hesitant to let me simply sit inside a car to see
what that model was like inside. Who knows why, maybe because I'm
young. Even after being informed that I had made up my mind and would
be buying a car (cash) the next day. He was more interested in why I was
going to buy a car than letting me see the one I had my eye on. I did get
to sit and test drive the car eventually but it felt like too much work to give
them 16k cash for a car so I went elsewhere and bought the same model
across town. Much better experience and love the car!
