Tuesday I picked up this lovely Volvo for my wife from Napleton Westmont Porsche. I found it through cargurus.com and was lucky enough to get Giovanni to help me with my purchase at the dealership. Great guy and made the process of purchasing the vehicle hassle-free. I also want to thank Ralph in financing, he made the final process a breeze and I learned a couple things from him. While this is a Porsche dealership, they have a bunch of beautiful used cars... especially that beast Dodge TRX sitting in their lot... most likely a steal of a deal. Check them out, great people, and one of the easiest purchases of a car I've ever had. Thanks again guys, my wife loves the car.

Bad experience called to set up a test drive and after work I went to look at the vehicle. When I arrived in my work clothes not looking like I could afford the Porsche to the sales team I guess. I was told it was too cold to test drive the vehicle. The roads were dry and it’s an all wheel drive vehicle. Complete waste of my time. I work in the car industry and at my dealership we would never judge a book by it’s cover and treat a customer with such disrespect.

Fire customer service

I turned in a credit app 2 times and they called me at first, but they never called me back to say the car has since been sold, that I didn’t qualify, how I could qualify or anything. Just stopped calling me after I gave them my most personal info. I left multiple messages on 3 voicemails and nothing. Very unprofessional. I do not know if car had been sold or if I qualified or not but they have my ssn and husbands ssn and no contact.

Erika, my salesperson was very helpful. Jessica in finance is fantastic. She went above and beyond to make sure i was happy with my deal/car. Even emailed Jeff, the GM, with some constructive feeback and he responded quickly. I would buy from them again.

I went through the financing and was approved, only for them to change their mind at the last minute because they would have to pay fees to the lender, Westlake Financial. I asked what could be done and they said for me to ask the lender to waive the dealership fees. I didn't feel that was my place, so I let it go. Upon further research, the car had been in two accidents and had a history of expensive repairs (catalytic converter replaced at 4 years that costs thousands of dollars). I gave up. The dealership wasn't willing to take the extra steps to get me in that car. It wasn't meant to be.

they first told me to see their video, which had no connection to the car I was interested in, then I asked them the same questions that I initially asked through Cargurus.com which they did not answer. Next things I was told the car was sold, and my questions were never answered.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP! I will be filing a formal complaint for discriminatory practices. Just hung up with a gentlemen who refused to identify himself by name, even after I asked for his name several times. He told me that he would not show me a vehicle unless I filled out a credit application. The vehicle was 12 years old and I was clear that I did not intend to finance. His response, "I'm not going to waste time opening the dealership." Ill take my business elsewhere and would suggest you do the same.

The sales person I worked with definitely went the extra mile to try to help me with making a sale. However when she was unable to secure the final request I had made she failed to contact me back. I contacted her back I agreed to their terms and conditions of the sale (not mine) with only one compromise - instead of them doing the financing I would have a local credit union take care of it. From what she told me over the phone we had made a deal and the sale was complete. However her response to me wanting to have the financing done locally was offputting even though they knew they couldn’t match the rates. I just sensed a change in her attitude as soon as she heard this. She still agreed to email me a final sale agreement to sign immediately. I kept waiting for the email to arrive for me to sign the final purchase agreement and it wasn’t coming so I called to find out they were in the process of selling it out from underneath me. Assuming this person financed through them.

What started as a good experience ended as the most frustrating, rude and unprofessional sales interaction I have been involved with a dealer. The internet sales manager and another salesman promptly emailed me after submitting an inquiry on CarGurus. The email and text exchange was quick and pleasant until I called to speak with the salesman to put a hold on the vehicle till the next morning. The message was never returned. I emailed again around 7 pm after the dealership had closed and received a text back around 9:30 pm. When I advised I was renting a car one way to drive 3 hours the next morning, the salesman emailed me a purchase order. I texted and spoke with my salesman, a customer service rep and a finance manager the next morning from just before the dealership opened till 12 pm. I was sent a quote for a CPO warranty to which I agreed. At approximately 11:55am I received the last text from the salesman "they sold it". -they stopped responding to me

I dealt with Todd remotely (he's 1900mi away from me). I bought another car but he was exceptional in his service.

After initially contacting me very quickly (3 different people within about 12 hours), they all went radio silent. I eventually had to email the manager (3rd contact who said he'd jump in if I needed him in any way). Never heard back from him either, but he had a 4th person contact me and we eventually struck a deal. No one ever explained or apologized for the way the other folks had simply vanished. Whole thing was very unprofessional and the only reason it worked out is because I really wanted the car and pushed to make it happen. I'm not in Chicago so this was all handled via email and phone. Perhaps they are good to deal with in person, but be warned their internet process is terrible.

The few simple requests made for a vehicle inspection were ignored, the staff was very rude on the phone, and I was blown off by the dealership. The original salesman I was working with passed me off to another who was of NO help at all. He sent one video that was of incredibly low quality, when I had asked for specific things to be included (none were!) Overall this is the worst experience I’ve had with a dealership. Do not recommend.

4.5 stars. Dealership was responsive and tried to earn my business. Main reason half star off is due to mix up whether it was a CPO vehicle or not. I asked salesperson to confirm warranty date but was told it actually wasn't CPO. Salesperson offered an extended warranty and price "reduction" which was not too bad but Porsche CPO is supposed to be unparalleled. So I moved on. About a week later it appears dealer got it through as CPO. Not necessarily putting blame on anyone as it seems like possibly a timing issue or who knows. But if communication was a bit better and they had made it CPO anyhow, I would have bought it. Someone will so not really a loss to them I suppose.

Was very surprised that I got the run around from this dealer. When trying to negotiate a price I had three different prices. The first was the lowest. I received a intial price that we were less than $2K different between what I was willing to offer and what they could sell the car at. When I raised the question that the vehicle did not come down in proce at all I was told the original price was computer generated and that they were raising the price so I was getting a discount. Sounded like the normal salesman pitch to me. I then heard from the manager and he asked if there was anything he could do to make a deal and I said provide me the best price. And he came back significantly higher than the original salesman. When I explained that I had a lower price before,the manager came back with a lower price but still higher than the original salesman price. It was as if the salesman and the manager never talked or where playing games. Thank goodness I did not waste my time going to the dealership to get the run around on price. I then copied the General Manager in on what was going on an he could not have cared less because they never reached out to see if we could correct the issue. Watch out for these guys they are shady or at minimum do not even know how to communicate within their own dealership. Not sure whatever happened to good customer service but I expect more out of a Porsche dealership.

I haven't bought a car from them, but have been negotiating with them. They respond quickly and politely. Perhaps we'll come to a deal eventually. With my limited email contact, they seem very reasonable.

This car was not available and left for the auction prior to my appointment. Car left on Thursday and I received two emails confirming my appointment on Thursday and Friday for a 10am Saturday appointment. It was a 200 mile round trip. Good news is that I purchased an A7 from their "sister" dealership that Saturday.

After rather simple negotiations I purchased the car. Very niqce to deal with and promptly returned my calls.

When I was there they immediately tried to upsell me to a Cayenne S! I told them that I was only interested in a Base model 6 cyl.! They never made the effort to at least show me the advertised model. When I did not bite on the much more expensive Cayenne S model, the saleman and the manager immediately lost their interest in me (I could be a potential customer in the future) and said good bye! No word of contacting me in the future, putting my interest in the data base etc. IF I CAN NOT SELLL YOU NOW, no interest attitude!

I was really unhappy the way they lied to me about they would give me for my trade, they have me a price on line and even sent me a final bill of sale to sign, but when I got there, they thought they could just change their mind on what they said they would give me, I think they thought they had me roped in since I had driven 3 hrs to get there that I would except the new price they offered, pretty funny when I walked out. Shady experience.

Easy to deal with

Although the initial reach-out from the dealer could have been quicker, once I made contact with them the experience was excellent. Napleton Porsche have a great inventory and the sales person was extremely helpful and client focused. I ended up buying a car from them - not the original one identified, but another in their stock.

Communication by dealer is fair, but honest. The dealer however seems not too interested in fixing technical problems of the car offered before offering the car for sale. Had expected from a Porsche dealer.
