The car listed on Car Gurus isn’t even available. This is frustrating since it appears to be a great deal, good pics posted of the car but when I called to inquire about seeing it I was told it’s going through service check and it’s not able to be shown. After waiting all weekend to hear if we can now see it I was finally told it had an issue that they’re unsure if it’s worth fixing. Then don’t list the car for sale!! It’s still showing today, this was yesterday. Very, very misleading!

Apparently the owner of this dealership is driving the vehicle so it's not for sale. Very disappointed but found one elsewhere.

Absolutely a 5-Star purchasing experience. I am looking for a 6th star but can't find one. I purchased a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. I live in Sacramento and was a little apprehensive about buying a vehicle long distance. Everything came together in a most efficient and friendly way. I had to use a rental car to drive from Sacramento to Porterville. Upon attempting to return the rental at a Porterville location, I encountered significant problems. Brian Duke turned a negative into a positive. Merle Stone Chevrolet has an excellent team. I definitely recommend this fine dealership. It's even worth a long trip to buy from them.

I emailed specifically to see if this vehicle was still available because I didn't want to drive an hour to see the vehicle if it was gone. I got the run around and offered other vehicles. I want a manual transmission, quit trying to show me automatic transmissions!

What's the point of advertising on a national website if your only allowing local residence to your dealership purchase your vehicles? When the salesman found out I was calling from outside his state he went bipolar on me and hung up in my face. Poor way to treat your neighbor

I responded to an ad for a 2007 Corvette by emailing and asking if they still had the vehicle. They responded and said they did. Their showroom is about 1 1/2 hours drive time from my residence. I decided to go look at the vehicle because I had just sold my 2000 Corvette. About an hour into my drive there, a salesperson called and asked if I wanted to see the vehicle. I said I was on my way, he said, "perfect", then said by the way, we don't allow test drives on Corvettes! Needless to say, I was floored by this. Never heard of such a thing. I went and looked at the vehicle in the showroom, couldn't even hear it run, and then was asked if I wanted to "do the deal". Needless to say, I said no. I guess they don't want to sell any Corvettes. I went to another dealer, test drove (with no questions), a 2009 Corvette and bought it.

Well all I can say is they didn't seem like they tried their hardest but we made a deal and the customer service when we arrived was really good and fast not like a lot of other dealers where you're there for hours but I would probably go back there if they had another good pre-owned vehicle I liked being I'm more of a ford person

The dealership we used was the Merle Stone Chevrolet in Tulare, CA. Cannot speak for the Porterville dealership. We test drove the 2007, decided to purchase a 2014 instead. The whole buying experience was great, no pressure, fast and efficient. Would purchase from them again. I would highly recommend this dealership.

they are liar's they promised a 96' 320sl after it was serviced and tried selling it to someone else and said it was no longer available and their financing fell apart so they emailed us and said it was available again and in the mean time we purchased a beautiful 20K 330ci BMW with 0(ZERO)DOWN, did I say ZERO DOWN other wise my wife said we would have a white Mercedes in the driveway instead, instead we WILL NOT BUY FROM or RECOMMEND merle stone to anyone.

Salesman wasn't very motivated to sell the car had to keep doing the follow up.I did buy the car but didn't vet everything that was promised.I have bought three cars from this dealer and the other two experiences were good I think it just depends on the salesman love the car.
