Drove 5 hours for a red truck to get there and see that it is orange. Found several mechanical issues with it instantly. Salesmen were very pushy and rude. Do NOT buy from here.

We were told that they would have no problems getting us a car but we left on foot We told them our credit scores and that we olny had $200 for the down payment and they still said that it wouldn't be a problem but it was. We still don't have a car.i gave all our information so we wouldn't have to sit there for hours but again we still did

I was very skeptical about Mcleod auto sales because of all the negative reviews. But to my surprise they showed me the complete opposite of what I had read in the reviews. Trust me I did my research. Maria contacted me first when I was inquiring about one of there sports cars they have for sale. She answered all my questions and if she didn't have it she made sure to give me a call back with the correct answer. After I got all my questions answered I decided to make an appointment with Maria. When I showed up Philip was the one to greet me at the door and showed me the cars I was looking for. I went ahead and went through the process. Now I am very happy with my new car and the service Mcleod auto sales gave me. I had applied at a different dealership for a sports car and the down payment they were asking was crazy high. I'm very happy I gave McLeod auto sales a shot. Not everything you read on the internet is true !! Every person is different what works out for you might not work out for other people or the other way around. I'm very happy they were able to help when no other dealer would specially with a sports car

Maria was very responsive. One I was turnwd over to a deler to work the deal, I was told "ill call you Monday." No call. So I called again last Saturday, still haven't heard back! I'd love to work a deal, but they don't seem very interested in calling back or keeping promises to call.

I didn’t like that they told me this car is here but when I show up it’s not. It was actually sent to a auction. But they said they were getting it back the next day and I’d be able to view the car which never happpened. I still haven’t received a call say the car has finally arrived back. I even call my self and get a further arrival date for the vehicle. Wasting my time.

     Sorry to hear you had a poor experience. We go through great efforts to be sure all the vehicles we sell are of good quality and reliable. Often a car will not pass our rigorous inspection process and be sent back to its prior home.
     I show there were several attempts to contact you via the phone number you left for us unfortunately that number was a non working number.

I was kinda skeptical about going their because of some bad reviews. But my experience was excellent. They greeted me at the door gave us all their time to find us the most great deal available. We have challenge credit but Dean made it happen. We did need a little more money down but we got the truck my husband needed for work. They fixed the issues they promised even when they where short handed. I got to meet Mr.McLeod he is such a nice guy that tries his best to offer his customers the best service and vehicles in Texas. I will be coming back for my vehicle and i do recommend this place to anyone that has challenging credit like us.

I had a great experience with McLeod Auto Sales. Because of my horrible credit i thought i would be driving a ugly old car for a while before i would see my self driving a 2016 since im trying to fix my credit. But they made it happen. I have a budget income since im single mom and they helped me out 100% now im driving a 2014 Nissan Maxima and loving it. If i could give them more stars i would. A big thank you to Dean for all the help

Went to the dealer for a car listed at $9,995. The day I get there and express my interest, as I'm filling out my credit application they jack the price up by $4,000. A similar situation happened when I went to buy a car from them 2 years ago when they were telling me how much my payments would be and how much down I needed on the car. When I asked how much the total price of the car is, he told me to wait and he got up and went back to talk to the manager team. HOW DO YOU TELL ME MONTHLY PAYMENTS AND HOW MUCH DOWN I HAVE TO PAY BUT NOT ALSO HAVE THE PRICE OF THE CAR AS WELL!!??? Needless to say he came back and the price was... you guessed it... increased by about $4,000. And I almost signed the deal, but something told me to ask. I will NEVER go back. I gave them two chances. They are con-artists. Would NOT recommend anyone going there if you want honest experience.

Truck was advertised at 17,000 miles drove over an hour to go see it and it had 109,650 miles, they said it was a typo and tried selling me other trucks.. Bait and switch. Then they kept sending me emails after I told them several times to stop.

They were very friendly and helpful until I signed the papers. They overcharged my credit card for the deposit and said they would issue a credit, which they never did even after I called them twice. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. also the truck I bought had problems and I requested info on the work they had done to the truck and again I never heard from them. If you buy from them have a mechanic check it out and don't assume anything.

   The retail auto industry is State and Federally regulated. All transactions are video and audio recorded. All documents are legally binding and are all compliant with state and federal laws. There is no such thing as a hidden fee in the Retail Auto industry, Everything is disclosed on multiple forms for your review before signing.
