I had a good experience on the phone. The person I talked to was not available, so he sent me over to Daniel Gonzalez. That individual did not seem to care. They didn't talk much, they were watching YouTube on their phone during the test drive with no communication. And when they did talk they cursed excessively, and even mentioned how they would assault somebody physically while on the job. I did not feel great purchasing a vehicle with them. I had previously bought 3 vehicles when it was known as Maxwell. As well as recommended my family members who had bought in cars through them. I honestly liked the vehicle, but was not a fan of the individual they had paired me with. It will not be recommending them again.

This was the one experience that was the artist it was so rushed, but yet I was there for about 4 1/2 hours. Before I did the financing, the individual had me download. The Ford app create a profile without even buying a vehicle, it was like he figured that I was going to purchase the vehicle .l wasn’t asked to do the financing. I was just sent a link. Ran my credit never once was I told what it was what I could afford and the individual came back and wanted me to sign the paperwork to buy the car mind you he tells me that you all are not a haggle free dealership.
The individual was really nice at first, but it changed when I asked about the pricing of the vehicle and he instantly knew that I wasn’t gonna purchase it. There was no negotiating at all. We didn’t even look at financing nothing like that and at that point i didnt want to make a purchase there and figure I can take my business elsewhere.

From start to finish, this was a terrible experience. I contacted the dealership about a vehicle and requested pictures, which the salesman did provide. I then uploaded all my trade-in information and photos through the link they sent me. I agreed to the trade-in value they gave me, but when the paperwork arrived, it reflected only half of that value along with additional fees that were never discussed.
I reached out multiple times by text, phone, and email for clarification and received no response at all. To make matters worse, the very next day they increased the online price of the vehicle.
I was already pre-approved through my credit union and ready to complete the purchase. Due to the lack of communication and misleading numbers, they lost the sale—and the vehicle is still sitting on their lot.
Extremely unprofessional experience with incompetent employees and management. I would not recommend this dealership.

After initial inquire about the car I was interested in, they informed me that the car was in stock. Then, I was offered similar car while they were checking on the specs of the car I requested.
and then they asked me to come over to dealership for a test drive. Then, I asked them to send me specs, and I will do further process of buying this car. after all that they were still trying to
pitch sales for similar car. after all that, I said this is the only car I would like to buy and stop try to sell me other cars that you are offering me. after, they stop replying to my emails or text. and
then I was informed that the car was sold earlier that day.
I do not believe that they had this car in first place because this car was advertised way below market.

not bad, nice salesperson but they tried to stick a reconditioning fee of $1500 on the price of the vehicle, just watch out for that

Wanted a car, looked at it, pressured me pretty hard to finance it with them, rather than my credit union. Went to credit union, got the check and of course Christopher Jones never replied after I emailed him several times saying I was going to get car. Car was purchased and I was never informed.

They like to lowball people for their trade ins. They over priced their vehicles and yet they don’t even want to pay us fair KBB value. My truck is worth $18 -$22 but since I lifted my try 10 inches, 37” tires, 36” tires, modify muffler with intake, remote start, just all these was 13k and they offered me 12k for my truck. Not even KBB minimum value. All large dealers are ripoffs.

On lifted and emission modified vehicles we have to consider legalities to resell the vehicle. Some vehicles that have had modified exhaust systems cannot be sold legally in Texas and the US so we have to take those issues into account when appraising vehicles. As for our vehicles, we consistently have some of the lowest prices on vehicles in Texas and sometimes in the country. Because of this we regularly have people fly in from across the country to purchase our vehicles

Worst shopping experience of my life.
I went to test drive a vehicle I was interested in and to get an appraisal for my car since I was looking to trade it in. However, they refused to give me
an appraisal or a proposal simply because I mentioned that I was still shopping around. The salesperson said it would be "too much work" for them
to provide a proposal if I wasnât planning to buy the car immediately.
How is someone supposed to make a purchase decision without a proposal? I was genuinely interested, but I felt sick to my stomach after hearing
that response. I never thought it was possible to feel this way while shopping. Needless to say, Iâm not leaving my money here.
This dealership comes across as sketchy and manipulative. They seem interested in playing games with customers and customers need to be
cautious about what to share. Clearly, honesty isnât a part of their business foundation.

Dealer and sales rep were curtioys, but when sale was completed, seemed like they wanted me out ASAP. No explanation on how the technology functions work in the vehicle. Wasn't offered a full tank of fuel even though I drove from San Antonio. Had to pay to fill up to drive home. Sales rep was busier with more important things in his phone. Great pricing, terrible closing sales.

GM wouldn’t let me hold the vehicle for 72 hours with $1k down because it was coming up on Mother’s Day weekend. Dealership did not disclose nearly $2500 in extra additions to the vehicle on their sticker price. GM refused to give me a firm interest rate AFTER running my excellent credit without putting up a non-refundable down payment. I told them that no one would put money down on a loan without knowing the full terms of the loan I.e. the interest rate, and they said that’s how they do business. Put money down up front, then come in and go over the best rate/mo payment options. NO WAY.

Although the sales person was nice jovial and respectful. They managed to mark up double on the tinting fee, bogus documentation fees and other fluff in an attempt to recoup funds on a handsome offer for our 2023 nissian they presented to us. Car dealerships are on borrowed time they will soon be a thing of the past.

Went back and forth on communication to see the car. Both times on trying to set up a time to view it, was told it was on hold by someone else to buy. When sent a list of cars to buy, this car was on the list. Even when we told them we were pre approve with a creditor that lists them as a preferred dealer, it was like it didn’t matter. We ended up with a dealer closer to us who got us in and out with a slightly older model, but higher trim and had no issues working with our lender.

Called the Dealer and inquired about buying the truck, and was told the price advertised was incorrect by $5000.00. If I was still interested to buy there within 24 hours because he knew he would sell it within 24 hours. I didn't want to pay $36,994.00 for the truck. I don't recommend this dealer.

The experience started off pretty well
I was contacted about the truck I was interested in and scheduled a test drive
All went well but some items needed repair
So I agreed to take the truck until the parts arrived
After driving the truck for a day I discovered that there was a grinding issue with the brakes so I returned the truck the next day and informed MAXWELL about the brakes
They gave me a demo to drive and after two weeks the truck was ready.
I discovered the truck was damaged due to an attempted break in
Then later discovered that the brakes were not repaired still grinding like before
Poor communication, poor cowardly management and poor accountability and coordination between departments

Dealer reached out quickly via an automated email and followed up with a more personal email, but communication was not great. Even though I sent my contact info in the form and asked them to answer a few questions, they avoided any direct answers. Nonetheless, we went after work to meet the dealer since their advertised price was much lower than others in the area. When we got there the salesman who had made an appointment to meet with us was not available and handed us off to another person. The second salesman was very polite, but initially brought the wrong vehicle up for us to test drive. When I showed hime the email I received with the VIN and pricing, he went and found the actual truck we were interested in which took longer than expected.
When I asked directly if the price listed in the email was correct, he avoided the question as well. After the very short test drive, I again asked directly about the price and was told that price was only with trade in AND dealer financing.

Maxwell Ford deserves Zero Stars! Spoke with Hector about this truck. Scheduled a time to look at the truck, and texted him a eta when I was on my way. Waited 15 min, no biggie, before Hector came out and said it would be about 20 min before the Truck was ready to see, it was being serviced. Hector suggested we work on my trade in, which does have a common headlight switch issue Ford can not get a part for until November. After sitting for an hour, Hector brought my trade offer for my truck which was laughable and started trying to negotiate the sale, I STILL HAD NOT SEEN THE TRUCK I WAS THERE TO SEE?! I let him know the trade in was laughable, and he brought me a less laughable offer, still ridiculous considering I am only shopping because FORD CAN NOT PROVIDE A VERY COMMON PART for my truck and I need headlights to get an inspection sticker. Long story short, after almost 2 hours of waiting I never was shown the truck I was interested in buying. I am a cash buyer!

It was the worst customer service experience of my life. The salesperson contacted me twice by e mail and
once over the phone to schedule a test drive. The call was at 9:30 in the morning and the test drive was
scheduled at 11:00 am. I walked in and asked for the salesperson and he came from the back, but had no
idea who I was. He then tried to find the car and after 5-6 minutes told me "car sold." I then asked why he
didn't call me to save me a trip, but he had no response. The reason he didn't call me is he couldn't
remember for 90 minutes that we had an appointment scheduled.
Here's the kicker; I received another e mail from him that night asking when I was going to come in and test
drive the car. You know, the one that was already sold.
I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The sales consultant contacted me via email to let me know the actual price of the vehicle would be $20K-$30K higher than the dealer price shown on CarGurus (dealer price already marked up appropriately over the msrp). Other than that communication, he made no effort to find out what I was looking for or how he could help me find a vehicle.

I contacted this dealership that is located in Austin Tx. About a Ford Mustang they had that I was highly interested in. I explained to the dealership that I lived in Houston and that I wanted to do most of the deal by phone or email seeing I didn’t want to drive all the way to Austin for a maybe. I did have a trade however that’s never been an issue before if shopping in one of the new year cities in Texas. Austin is a 2.5 hour drive from me so they requested I take photo’s of my 2019 Mustang RTR and send it over to them. The car had about 17k miles on it. I did this but asked for a different sales rep seeing I felt my sells person was blowing me off. I had financing already I just needed to find the perfect vehicle. The dealership came back with a different sells person but stated they were not interested in selling me a car. I didn’t know why nor understood the Abrupt change however I also didn’t ask. I’ll spend my money with a dealership that seems to want to do business with me.

Vehicle was put on the lot as a “Certified Vehicle “. When I popped the hood to check the fluids, I immediately noticed none of the fluids , oil had been changed. Transmission fluid was beyond burnt and leaking. Main panel that covers the motor was damaged and just sitting on top of the engine not secured in anyway. This is how they get naive buyers. Dealer sprays the motor with some Black magic cleaner and calls it good.

The internet sales manager Troy text me, and when I called to ask questions about the car and some pics, he mentioned he would get right back to me. 1. Excellent customer service by the front desk to the salesmen. I was treated with respect, kindness, honesty and overall like a human rather than just a customer. They answered all my questions, gave me time to think without rushing, and allowed me to feel comfortable about to buying process.

They lie! They wanted me to come in to the store and told me since Texas opened up they donât do sales online. Well, the reason they want you to come in is because they
do not have the cars in the picture for the price printed! When you get there they tell you they put upgrades in the cars (like leather seats) and now itâs $3000 more then the
price listed. Then they tell you that you canât get all the rebates by Ford so they took $2000 off total rebates because of no trade in (but other Ford dealer gave us all Ford
rebates). Lastly, their taxes totaled more than another dealership because they put extra charges in the tax/title section. Maxwell Ford kept asking what payment did we
want monthly but would not give us a concrete drive out price! Sneaky and dishonest!

Advertises fake vehicles. Dishonest dealer. Dishonest sales associates covering for dealer.
Was a walk-in looking for a 2012 audi q5 that had been for posted for sale for approximately 90 days. Was given the grand tour on a much newer model and was praised for picking the best car on the lot. But it was the wrong car and of course he already knew that. The car wasn't there and associate of course says it just sold.
Got home after driving another hour and a half through traffic, just out of curiosity I pressed the check availability button for the car on the Maxwell website. Miguel Ochoa, internet sales associate responds quickly and says that the car is available and wants to schedule an appointment to come look at it. Smell fishy yet?
After a few emails Miguel maintains that the car was indeed on the lot and for sale when he emailed me. Which was a lie since I was there beforehand and know better. Imagine what they'll try when you're filling out all that complicated paperwork.

Contacted dealership about the advertised vehicle. Dealership stated the vehicle was not a lariat as advertised and the price would be considerably higher. When asked why they had not corrected the listing they said these things happen and I should read the fine print. I was then told to read the window sticker to see vehicle’s trim package. Never mind the fact that they listed the VIN and stock number in the listing by the price. I won’t buy from any dealer that uses this kind of shady bait and switch tactics.

My experience was not good at all!! They tried to undercut my trade on 1300$ less than low bluebook, then they came to me with the numbers and never gave me a interest rate just a payment for 66 months which ended up being 7000$ over the price of the truck! It started off great but went downhill fast. The car looked very nice on line and the price looked good, so
I didn't negotiate the price. everything went well up until I actually bought the car. Went to get into it to
drive home, while still in the Ford parking lot, I noticed that the front headlight was broken/cracked. I
mentioned it to the sales person,(who up until this time was really nice), sorta went "well, it's your car
now". Not one pic on CarGuru showed a cracked/dammaged headlight. Now, I have to spend
hundreds of dollars to fix it. Also, when I got home i noticed that the car had locking car lugs nuts, which
is nice, but Maxwell Ford never supplied the Key for the lug nuts. Imagine if I had a flat tire on the way
home(6 hrs drive). I would have been stranded in the middle of the night on the freeway hundreds of
miles from home. Now, I have to spend more money to have them removed. They were so nice before
the sale.

I called and spoke to them in regards to vehicle told them I was on the way when I got there they told me they had put it in shop and wouldn’t be available until next week.i attempted to call them again to check on truck and no one ever replied. A few days later the truck was sold. Made me drive 1hr drive for nothing

They wanted to play games instead of sell a truck. They tried to sell it to me for $6500 more than what I was quoted by email, text and online. Then tried to add a "non-optional" $1700 package of crap. What a scam! I drove 1.5 hours to buy this truck after much communication to make sure we had everything worked out in advance just to have them start playing games when I got there. Stay away!

Not a very good experience at this dealership. Was passed on to salesman

I spoke with Eddie Sifuentes on the phone via text, and explained our situation to him. We talked about a vehicle and came to an agreement on a deal. I drove from Lockhart to Austin in the rain to close the deal. When I arrived Eddie would not come out and talk to me. He then told the receptionists to give me his cell phone number. I called Eddie and he stated that the vehicle was sold. However, it turns out that the vehicle is still there and not sold. I feel that Eddie should have been man enough to come out and speak with me about the situation. I also feel that one man's actions has a negative reflection on the entire dealership. Now you can't trust anyone there. What happened to customer courtesy.

Worst experience. If you do business with them, make sure you check the finance amount. Went to buy used vehicle, had been negotiating, finally agreed on 20k our door, and I reiterated out the door and even said that includes tax title and license. When I’m signing paperwork, I all what the finance amount was and it was not the agreed upon amount. It did not include TTL, apparently they “misunderstood” me when I said 20k out the door including TTL. And that’s because I was putting 2k down. Well not do business there again and caution anyone who does to double check what you finance and make sure it is exactly what you agreed upon. And the worst part, because they misunderstood, they said they couldn’t sell to me, me me and my pregnant wife drove up from Lockhart to do business with them and had us wait a couple hours. Biggest waste of time.

We drove over a 100 miles to see the truck,when we arrived another couple were driving it.The Salesman(Diego) asked us to wait to see if they had made a deal,wich we did.About 5 minutes he informed us that the deal was done and they were taking the truck.I asked him to please call me if for any reason the other folks did not buy the truck please call me,at that point he said it was a done deal,and there was no need to follow up with me.Two days later We called and were told the Nissan Frontier was still there. Initially they responded quickly. Slow to get information requested. Pictures were not available at time of request however I found them online a few days later on my own. The car sold. I only knew this because it was no longer available on their website. Dealer never sent pics and didn’t contact me to let me know it sold. Icing on the cake was when inquiring further about price. It was revealed that the online price was only with financing and a trade-in. The real asking price was $2500 more! I just want a dealer that will tell me the actual price of the car. Tired of the games.

Said they had a knock in motor. I offered to buy the truck “as is sale” (no liability to dealership) they told me the truck had issues, then tried to sell for “Top Retail” pricing $3000 over retail. Then when called on it said “we put it up for short sale, but we will just send it to auction”. Why advertise the truck for sale if it’s going to auction, and why try to charge over perfect pricing after telling me it has motor issues? But to then not want to sell it at the price it should be at, and offer me $10k less then a bad trade in price for a truck they “will clean and sell in a week”? Bad write up? How about BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Dealer was not honest or forthright. After arriving and test driving vehicle, salesman Jeff informed my wife and I that they do not honor cargurus pricing unless you trade your vehicle in with them and ALSO finance with them. I asked where that information was available and they said it was in fine print. With this information I agreed to trade in my vehicle in good running condition in and they came back with ONE HUNNDRED DOLLAR TRADE IN. $100.00!! You can’t make this stuff up! I can’t believe how unprofessional and ignorant this dealership believe some people are?!! I guess they run the numbers and get enough people to play their high price game.

I went to test drive this vehicle and the AC did not blow cold. Sales associate Craig did shoot me fairly straight however he did not get back with me once the vehicle was 'ready'. Zach also reached out to me through what seemed to be an automatic email. I responded with genuine concerns and have not heard back. I will not be using Maxwell Ford for my next purchase.

Typical sort of dealer. Wouldn’t come down off the price even a penny. Went with one of the three here in San Antonio, not the color I wanted but $1800 cheaper. Kept telling me to compare the stickers and features, told him they were identical, but that didn’t matter. LOL, and they told me they already had it at wholesale value and couldn’t come down. Hey, if it’s at wholesale value then you should be able to auction that baby off easily...for $2000 more than what they are retailing for 50 miles away.

Quick to respond and make contact via text.
Asked if car was in good shape as I lived a long way away I was told yes everything was good. I arrived beautiful looking car in the inside. Took a harder look oil leak they had no idea was leaking. Was sitting on top of the engine plain as day and left a puddle underneath the car. Hatch always said open even with it closed and grill was held on by two plastic tabs other wise it moved freely.
Zach was nice answering my questions said he had no clue about issues. Said he would get items fixed if he could and let me know. Just wish he knew there was issues like oil leak ahead of time so I did not make a 4 hr trip there I could have searched else where.
Dealerships are always busy but usually when someone comes out asked if you been helped they will go and get the sales person you talked to. Not here nice smiles ask and if it is not them they say he may be over here or there. Finally I just went to help desk to page him.

The salesperson you have may or may not text you back or call you. Overall the car buying process was extremely difficult here and took over 5 days just to be denied credit after being promised otherwise if I brought a down payment. I don’t recommend anyone go here unless there is a car on the lot you absolutely have to have.

I know my credit is not very good but when I walked in there they told me they would do anything to get me that truck but then they told me my credit was bad and they wanted me to put $5,000 down I don't understand I work very hard I make good money I gave him three paycheck stubs with the money that I make I don't understand why these companies or turn me down cuz a few things I have on my credit report I should not matter to spend years ago I am very disappointed and dealerships that put words in your mouth that does not happen

They were responsive. Did not buy the vehicle, but they were helpful. I found out as most dealers do now they have dealership add ins. It listed in online price. On the vehicle I looked at it was 899 for tint and nitrogen in tires and some sort of door protection. After calling on other dealers appears to be a common practice.
Dealer responded but car was sold. I was looking for a Corvette and they tried offering me a Camaro

The experience it self has been a crazy roller coaster unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth. Going into the store was great getting taken care of with approval then making my payment went quick. I was told that unfortunately a engine light was on and they did not know exactly what it was also still needed to be serviced so because of that they needed time to get it done this was on February 22nd we are now going on March 2 and still waiting on my vehicle I was given a temp till the vehicle was ready. My sales person was amazing till I followed up with the dealership wanting to know where we finally were with the vehicle then to be questioned why I needed the vehicle and should atleast be someway satisfied that I have a temporary vehicle to use. I went through three sales people and two managers just to be told they also had no idea what was wrong or what we are waiting on. Luckily I have been wanting this vehicle for a while for my son n I and I am expecting a note saying what was wrong and what was fixed after will definitely be taking it to someone to check it out making sure it is truly cleared if not I don’t even know how I’m gonna react. :(

Contacted Sales team about certain vehicle night before. Told them I will
leave work early the following day and I have asking price with CU check.
Next day they contacted me at 9 AM and said come on down to Austin
and drive it. I left work early, drove to Austin on 35, 5 o'clock traffic. 1.5
hours later get there and they start showing me vehicles that are not what
I wanted or specified. Wrong engine size, wrong years, Wrong makes
even. Then I ask where is the vehicle I came to drive and take home?
Then they finally mention they just sold it, even though they sent me
location requests and I updated them throughout the day every 2 hours
by text.
I was told that they are there to sell cars.
I guess they don't care about customer service.
The Sales Associate I was communicating throughout the day was inept
to keep his appointment so I was passed over to another.
When my replacement sales associate approached the managers desk to
ask what happened the vehicle I came to drive home...manager says,
"Well, He should have got here sooner" and they both laughed! Then
they turned around and saw that I saw and heard this pathetic service
team treating there potential customers this way.
Didn't even phase them.
Obviously I was and am still upset from this experience. My family and I
needed this opportunity for this vehicle at this price point and I made
every effort to fill our needs and the 'ole used car sales cliche prevailed.

It took multiple calls and internet inquiries over a 3 day period before I
was able to talk to a salesman. When I finally did get a response, it
seemed that they were always too busy and did not want to work with
someone who didn't live locally. While not outright rude, the sales
people I did speak to gave snarky responses to my questions. For this
reason, I would not buy from this dealership and I cannot and will not
recommend them to others.

Once I got there to look at the speed 3 the car had apparently already sold but the didn't call to tell me I drove 2 hours to this dealer ship to look at that car and didn't even know it sold. So it was a wasted trip. The sales man was to busy with other things so my wife and I sat there for a hour or so he showed us one car and didn't offer to let us test drive it in wanted us to sit around to wait on him so we left.

Unfortunately, the purchasing process was very frustrating; i.e., waited an hour to be seen to fill out paperwork to actually buy the vehicle, information was not accurate, they were not prepared, etc. It took all the fun and excitement out of buying a new vehicle. Dealer contacted me very quickly. After initial contact, it seems email is not a
very good way to contact them, they either don't respond or take at least a
day. Maybe they are better by phone, but I don't know.
I did buy the car from them. They were pretty fair throughout the process, but
don't expect the financing guy to be nice to you if you don't buy the extended
warranty plan.

Reached out to see about a test drive, initially I got quick responses, and then the person stopped responding (seems the vehicle I was asking about got sold, though there was another of the same trim level that would've been fine). Another person reached out to ask how things were going and I explained the situation. An apology was made, and I was told I was being assigned to someone else and they'd be reaching out to me shortly. I never saw another e-mail from them. Can't say that instills a lot of faith in me, or interest in having any further dealings.

They where extremely slow closing the deal. they wasted a lot of time. I sat way to long waiting for just about everything I had to wait till Monday to pick it up, I asked how early I could get the boy said he would be there. I went there Monday morning and the receptionist said Wade had they day off. She said I could just take; it. I did. I felt abandoned.

Horrible they ran my credit without my consent. Called and left a message with the person in charge and have yet to hear from them. So yea I usually don't leave reviews but they pissed me off... If they didn't have the vehicle I wanted why waste my time by lying...
