Price online is not the price you pay. Dealer price out the door was well above list price online. There was no negotiating on price, whatsoever, even paying cash. In fact, we were told "Cash is not king, anymore." I guess all that started when dealers started getting kick-backs from banks for sending people for financing. At any rate we found a truck elsewhere, same year model, similar miles, and paid $28,500 out the door by paying cash. Yes, the dealer needs to make a profit, but they also need to sell cars, and if the out-the-door price is $5K higher or more than the price listed online, that doesn't sit well with me. On top of that, the vehicle was not as it appeared in the listing. It was bought at auction and came out of Buffalo, NY. The engine block had some kind of "filmy substance" all over it. The steering was "loose" and it didn't drive like a new vehicle, at all, front bumper was damaged, tailgate shows wear, and truck has pink pinstripes all over it.

Billy, my sales person was great. Open, transparent and very helpful and wanting to provide all answers I had but once information was sent to finance it was less than satisfactory. Waste of time once that process started. They lost the sale once the finance was involved and not willing to negotiate or be fair on trade.

Posted a 2023 Corvette that’s not on the lot and has already been sold. They are using vehicles as bait and when you call to inquire, they are notifying that it’s been sold, and will try to offer another vehicle.

It was great up until I closed the deal. There were some issues with the paint that were to be touched up and detailed, so I left the truck with them for 3 days and it was never touched. So now they are asking me to bring it back again. I don’t know about y’all, but I don’t have the time to do this again not to mention the fuel cost right now.

Contacted this dealer about a 2008 911Turbo listed on CarGurus. Was told that the car isn’t actually for sale and belongs to the dealers son. I suggested they remove the ad but it’s still up weeks later. Scam of some sort and appears unethical. Recommend avoiding this one.

Worst experience. Finally broke down to buy the toy I always wanted. I did everything they asked for but asked too many questions since I am out of state in NY. They new I wanted the car, all Financials done just waiting on a breakdown when they sold it to someone else. Then tried to sell me something else. Claimed first come first serve. I was first and car was on here for 51 days. No apologies and still haven't removed me from messages as requested many ways. Learn from me and don't do it.

Shady salesperson contacted me back and did as little as possible to answer questions. When I called him on it he replied with very snarky just trying to help and I am such a good salesperson. Please! I informed Chris that I was not interested in working with him and I was moving on. Also had to tell him not to contact any further or I would file a complaint. Next time someone questions damage get up and go take more pics. Or perhaps if a questions the history of the vehicle like was it a rental or fleet like the add indicates actually look at the add and see what is says and find out instead of blowing smoke "nope one owner". I will be buying soon, not from Chris Fouts though. Check out the pics. I am embarrassed for this dealership. Dirtiest dealership vehicle on the internet. Looks as if a husky slept in it for 3 days. Take 5 minutes to run a vacuum. Laziness seems to be running rampant at Maxie Price Chevrolet. I work hard for my money--not into handing it over to lazy people.

Went there on labor day weekend ready to buy the car when they pulled that Maxie shield BS on me. Told them if they took it off(1k worth) I would buy in a heart beat. They said no we can't. Ok I left next day they call me stating that they can. Bottom line these people like to play games and waste your time . Would never recommend them!

I was ripped off this car was listed on car gurus for $23,700 I thought I could trust Maxie Price Chevrolet in Loganville Ga .to sell it to me at that price their base price was $26,697.46 that's almost $3000.over the price listed on car gurus I knew the total price seemed a lot higher than I thought it should be I ended up paying $32984.26 I'm sick about it Maxie Price sux & I will do all I can to at least get $3000. Back I don't even won't to give them a star rating

Looked at several vehicles and they were all filthy. Even after I called ahead and told them I was coming to look at the vehicle floor was full of dirt and all interior buttons had dirt and grime in them. Nice people but their source for used vehicles is questionable.

Hi my expereince was Ok with them. Lathosha Redmond, the sale's representative was awesome, except the finance guy who served us on the first day. It would have been better on their part if they had delivered the car to my place, which is like 30 miles away, atleast as a courtesy in this COVID-19 situation. Overall it was good experience, as the car looks good for now..

Warning! This dealership is baiting customers with online pricing and then trying to seriously increase sales profits and prices once they get you in the door! I wanted to trade my current vehicle in on one they had advertised online at 37k, i loved the vehicle, it was just what I wanted! However, when we got down to the numbers, trade and overall out the door price on the vehicle, they had increased the price on the vehicle and it had went up $10k! The salesman tried to tell me that it was add on and upgrade fees and that it should have been listed if I "looked hard enough"! They also tried giving me thousands less than even the blue book value, not counting the extras! The vehicle I was looking at IS STILL LISTED AT 37K online! My advise is do not buy from them! Go elsewhere and save yourself the hassle to begin with because ultimately they didn't stand by or fix there advertised pricing and just cause alot of waisted time and frustration.

The dealership was far from my home, so I attempted to figure out if I would qualify before proceeding to the dealer. The salesman replied that it wasn't too far from my home. It's over an hour with no traffic. He took all my info and I completed an application online. They told me I was approved via phone, but told me for a difference car once I arrived. I made it clear via the phone that I only contacted them for a specific vehicle and I didn't want to waste my time driving all the way there for nothing. I feel.that they wasted my time although I informed them that it was exactly what I was trying not to do. They were mostly friendly, but seemed to have a lot going on and multiple people waiting after the vehicle selection. One gentleman and his father were so tired of waiting that he said he would return the following day. And I wondered to myself if he would really return. I only contacted them for this specific vehicle. I'd rather go to a dealer closer to my home for other cars

I came in to the dealership on Tues evening about 6:45. Andrea was my sales person. She was absolutely great. We took the vehicle for a test drive, during the test drive Andrea noticed the turn signal sounded funny. So when we got back she checked it and found that the right turn signal wasn't working. She didn't have to do that. I would have never known. I'm getting it fixed for free today. When buying the car the process was smooth and quick. I've never spent under 2hrs in a dealership buying a car. They were awesome to me.

I made an offer, the response was he'd ask the manager but didn't think so. They ran a special on their web site, I inquired and got no response. Then I got a price 5,000 higher than their advertised price. Sales person seemed like I was a bother to him by asking for an "out the door price". He never did answer my questions. Seems like there's a 30% markup on the advertised price. Stay away from this dealer!

I got in contact with Maxie Price through the website, within a few minutes Charles from the dealership contacted me and we set an appointment for the next day at 4:30 pm. i arrived a few minutes early and waited for Charles to appear. He was cordial and said he was going to get the keys. I saw him searching and then he went into the (what I assume was the managers area), he came back and said that the Truck i was there to look at was taken to an auction the previous day and the they didn't tell him. I was very disappointed with the un-professionalism I encountered.Charles did not check if the truck was available and let me drive in rush hour from my house to the dealership and back. He did apologize, but it was a little to late!

The worst! First they tried to low ball me on my trade. So I kept my trade and arranged deal with a down payment. Then after and driving 3 hours to pick up my 2014,with less than 10000 miles and in their words "just like new". Its knocking loud to add insult to injury they insisted the car was ok. As a mechanic raised by a mechanic I found it appalling. Finally while they are trying to convince me to purchase anyway, I asked about well how much is a warranty. They did not want sell me one! Go figure. Never have I bought a car from a dealership without suffering the "thirty minute spill" on just how important an extended warranty is. Well that was my que to not buy. I thought others should be warned.

My advice is to make sure from the very first conversation get the EXACT total walkout price. This dealership lists vehicles at low prices on car gurus to later make up the low prices with either financing, document fees, or mandatory dealer add ons like protective spray. The high document fee is printed on the forms so this is standard for them. I was given the document fee after I called so that is fine. But remember it’s not included in the listed price here and it’s above normal. Only after given a total price and purchasing airplane tickets to pickup the vehicle was I told the next day while on the way to the airport that there was a $950 charge for their Maxi Shield. They claim that since they are near Atlanta they have to do this on ALL of their vehicles new and used because of acid rain. Yet they forgot to tell me about it before. The spray is a dealer scam where they spray a “protective” coat on your vehicle. Usually you get minor insurance protection coverage for chipping and minor scratches but not even this here. Not even a certificate of proof that it was even done. The sales manager actually said it was my fault for not understanding because I never asked for the TOTAL WALKOUT PRICE. He said all of their new and used vehicles get a $950 charge for the Maxi Shield. Well I asked for the final price before I purchased the airplane tickets and was given a final price. This was a cash purchase so the final price should have been easy to give not including taxes and title fees. The sales manager was very rude and you could tell this was a routine that has been scripted out before. It’s obvious they used the add on price of the Maxi Shield to make up for the lower price advertised. I even got told about how they were still losing money even with that added. I was offered $200 off the Maxi Shield. Just beware. I have purchased off of car gurus before with great experiences. It’s a shame there are no rules for dealers manipulating their pricing here. Full Disclosure should be required.

Our personal experience with Maxie Price Chevrolet was not a good experience! Now our sales lady Monica was great! The sales managers were going to charge really high “document fees”, that was $800 along with other fees! That’s up and beyond price of the car! Only when they found out we were paying cash then they tried knocking SOME of the fees off....if we would’ve purchased from them a $6500 Nissan 350Z would’ve cost us about $8000????

The salesmen here were very professional and courteous. It was found that I needed to work more on my credit history and purchasing a used vehicle was just not in my best interest. We nearly purchased here in March but back out but ended up coming back. This is 3rf vehicle we’ve bought from here and each after looking extensively all around the metro Atlanta area. Key Brown was more than helpful, she responded to me the next day after sending an email the night before. She was honest and didn’t try to push a SUV on me. It came down to her dealership and another in purchasing a SUV. Key was candidly nice when she told me that they couldn’t beat out the competition. I will definitely look for this dealership again when I choose to purchase another. Gave great service even though I didn’t buy a car from them.

This dealership took over a week to get back with me by email except for first automated response message. This vehicle went from 24, 000 to 22, 000 to almost 28,000 in one week and oh by the way when he did confirm vehicle was in the price had just went way up. I would watch these guys the old bait and switch or worse incompetence.

Our salesman, Bobby Williams, was outstanding. Very customer service oriented. Aidan Prince in Financing was great as well. We felt like he was looking out for us. We felt very welcomed from the moment we pulled in. Never felt pressured. Overall a great experience. Went home with a Stingray Z51 3LT the same day. I would definitely recommend this dealership and we drove from Greenville, SC. Worth the drive for a sweet Vette.

I contacted this dealership about this truck. The sales person name was Heavenly...... She called me several times trying to get me to make an appointment... Well I do work during the week so I told her I would come up on Saturday @noon time.. she called back Friday @5:30 I told her I would be there Saturday again.... So after a 2 hour drive I got to dealership she wasn't even there and another salesman tried to help me but I was told truck was sold... I spoke to a man calling himself Maxi and he had no emphanty and his reply was" well I can find you a truck " I left the dealership and was contacted by another sales person Monday morning asking me to come test drive the same truck they said was sold not once but 6 times in a two hour time span ... These people are crooks and use the bait and switch method I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy .... Liars and devious people.....

I drove from Louisiana because a female salesperson told me the wrong price. She said $12,000 and so did her manager over the phone so I traveled 600 miles to the Cadillac for them to tell me the car is $16,000. I am a disability veteran of the United States Army and I was completely treated like an ignorant child and fool. I will be contacting my congress and this.

I emailed them on this truck. It's the year and mileage I'm looking for. I got a response saying that they were out of the office and would get back to me. Two days later I sent another email asking if the truck was still there. I got a response Later that it had been sold.

Dealer responded one time only. The email was one of the most bizarre I've ever seen from a dealer. I chose not to work with this dealer after reading their reviews as they appear to be "bait and switch" artists who don't know their current inventory and it appears they lie about it as well. I don't need the hassle or frustration trying to deal with a auto dealer with that type of reputation.

Initially the salesperson, Roberta, did not want to go take pictures of the car because the "rain had not let up yet". I waited and waited for the pictures, but they never came. I then called Roberta on her cell number that she provided to me, only to have her whispering on the phone and inquiring who I was as though I should not have the number. She then claimed she would email me pictures again--never received. I then spoke to another salesperson (who was VERY helpful and responsive-- by the way), who told me that the vehicle had been sent to auction as the vehicle was completely damaged in the rear. Roberta calls me later to say the vehicle was sold, but she has more vehicles.(?) No, thank you.

Started of good, but when the deal started to go left, their communication is appalling! I was never told what was going on until I called or pressed for the information. Theyou tried to sell me the auto for 59,000.00 and as Cargurus haso it priced at 55,000.00 they never addressed that I had to. One evening I stood around for 3 and a half hrs. For them to say we are 80% there. Which to me means they financingredients for the vehicle and had just been tweaking number's. They even stated the the auction was back in detail and they would deliver in the morning. The next day no one called I had to call, the 1 call. I was told that they had not even looked at the deal today and we old call me back. NOTHING, so I called again by this time I had assumed the deal went left. I was told at that time they had been trying for almost 2 days to get financing and had not been able to, and it was have to go up top. Nevertheless I Staedtler my discontent with their process and proceeded to me on. The sales person volume have cared less.and the original sales person never called totally avoided me. Terrible experience at least for me!!!

I Got a call 3 days after my email to the dealership, after that I called over and over again. Almost a week went by before I spoke to anyone, just to find out this vehicle was already taken to auction. This was a very disappointing experience and I was very displeased.

After three hours on the phone back and forth could not get their website up and then had a bunch of hidden fees that were not explain to me in the beginning but at the end when I said I wanted to purchase the vehicle and I could have understand a few hundred dollars but it was almost as much as they were asking for the vehicle well over $1,500 which was never explained to me in the beginning of the conversation with his dealership only when I was ready to purchase the vehicle in cash

I was headed down to buy the car, already had a deal sheet worked up. They strung me along all day long and said they'd wait on me. Didn't happen, their finance manager is very rude and short. The salesman said he was "too busy" to send pics and talk about the car. Their loss, they are definitely not customer oriented at all and could care less that someone is trying to drive 4 hours away to buy a car and needing the info. Had a check in hand already waiting from my credit union.

bait and switch =went to buy car that was in this ad when i called they said they had car when i got there they could not find car (?) 2 hours later no car =what? they said some one took off lot with out permission but they wanted to sell me a new car instead buyer beware this is twice i tried to buy a car from them and the last- i bought one at another dealers sale person came in on a sunday sold me a car was out driving it in two hours THATS HOW YOU DO IT. Response from current dealership:
On this instance, we had an employee who - against the rules - had driven this particular vehicle home. Thus, we mistakenly informed you that the vehicle was here. Later, once we had located the vehicle, we offered to drive it out to you, but then we never heard back from you.

However, we should have physically confirmed that the vehicle was on the lot before having you drive out. For that we apologize.

The salsperson was very friendly, but that is the only good thing that can be said about Maxie Price. The car was not ready for showing even though I had an appointment. The car was dirty, and when I picked it up several days later to take it to my mechanice for inspection, it still had not been washed. The inspection revealed that the car had several problems with the electrical system with almost every interior button or CD player not working. The seat belt warning had been disabled and may have been the cause of some of the other electrical problems. The car had been in 3 wrecks. It was heavily bondoed, wheels out of line, tires mismatched and needing replacement. Dispite being shown the mechanic's inspection report, Maix Price uped the asking price $ 1,000.00 above the advertised price. Maxie Price demanded top blue book value for a car that had been abused and was in very bad shape. I would not give this dealer any stars, nor would I recomend anyone dealing with this business.

Vehicle listed as 159,000 miles actually had 169,000. Jeep had engine light on and vacuum leak under hood, several other odds and ends, pretty rough car. We made cash offer, it was rejected. Two days later, got a phone call from representative that asked me if I was still interested in the car
