The only dealer that actually reached back out and continued communication with details and
answered questions. The are over 3 hours from where I live, noting local dealers either never
responded or ghosted me when attempting to secure a time to test-drive. The great communication
with Salesman Wayne had lead to me purchasing the truck I was looking for and delivered to me in
less than 24 hours from our initial communication. Take the time to check their lot and pick a new or
used Chevrolet.

I contacted this car dealership and made an appointment to get this vehicle. I explained how difficult it was for me to get off work because I work 2 jobs. Anyway, I took off work, established funds, and got insurance on this new truck. I also explained that I live a good distance away and wanted to make sure they had the vehicle. They confirmed they had the truck and my appointment the night before. I also talked to the dealer to finalize the price. We were on our way to pick the vehicle up and about 20 minutes from the dealership (we live 2 1/2 hours away) and I received a text stating they sold the vehicle the day before. I was so devastated as I was surprising my husband who has never had a new vehicle and he has Multiple Sclerosis and I so wanted him to have this truck. Such a disappointment.

Cannot say enough good about Jesse at Mark Porter. I am 5 1/2 hours away and when I told him I
had never done this before Jesse made the transaction seamless. I told him it would be a few days
and he took the vehicle off the market and held it for me. That is going above and beyond. I will
gladly drive there again for my next purchase. A+++

Inquired about this 22 Yukon XL. Jesse contacted me right away. I flew up to Columbus Ohio a week later and Jesse arranged a driver to pick me up and drive me down to Mark Porter GMC Dealership in Pomeroy. Jesse didn’t rush anything, showed me all the perks of my new Yukon, we signed some paper work and I drove (road trip) her home to Texas. Jesse at Mark Porter Dealer was nothing but class act. Contacted their customer service through car gurus and was emailed within a day. Made an appointment for a couple days later. Had excellent seller (Tom Sheppard) who pointed out all the great features the vehicle I was looking at and had me sold. Wanted way under trade so I went home sold it out right and came back with cash in hand for the down payment and drove this brand new beautiful 2021 GMC Terrain away at the age of 23. I can’t recommend Vince in gm finance enough as well. 10/10. I have 2 friends and a family member looking to buy from this dealership as well in the near future.

Jesse Kimes was great to us in helping us purchase our new to us 2019 Buick Encore!! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was we were there quite a while getting everything done (none of this Jesse's fault) but in Porters defense they were really busy that day... I would go back there again and will refer them to friends if asked...

and do not act like they want to sell cars. Was very disrespectful to me and my wife. The

I was contacted by Trista Ledson and Jesse Kimes per email.
Trista and I did have the opportunity to converse on a few occasions. Trista
did ask me what I was looking for in a Rogue color and amenities. Trista
worked very hard trying to get the correct information on the Rogue of interest
and soon I was informed by Trista that the Rogue did not have the moonroof
that I was looking for. I really would like to Thank Trista for all of her time and

I’m not sure how to write a review on my experience, the buying experience was good but as for the Jeep it had a couple of very expensive problems, after we got it home a it set alittle while and started again it had lots of oil smoke (valve seals)$$ noticed something leaking the next morning and found the carpet wet under the floor mats (leaking heater core) very expensive repair $$$. So if you buy a used car here probably should have someone else check it out for you, wish I would have.

They kept me informed & uptodate until the deal went through i would certinaly contact them agin should they get in a unit that was what i was looking for they are very nice & up to date on there inventory Thank you!
I would not recommend this dealer because for 2 weeks I attempted to get pre approved 0n their website form with no results; finally contacted them & learned from Vincent, the finance manager, that the website was down & not be up until the following Monday, that HE WOULD CALL ME BACK...he did not! I could not even email a copy of the form because of the website...not interested in taking my info over the phone. by the time it was fixed another weekend lapsed and the following Monday, received a carguru email the car had been sold. Never heard back from Mark Porter GM.

I feel the salesman tried hard and was as honest as he could be. But the manager pulled the we don’t fake trade in prices on your vehicle then turn around and did it. With the exact example he told me they don’t do days before also he was extremely pushy. The dealership is nice and upgraded. And I will say they have good starting prices. The only other bad was a couple wrong photos of the vehicle I was actually buying

I sent email after hours and received email response within couple
of hours. Do not remember who initiated call next morning but
conversation was had early to set up my visit to them. My contact
was with salesman, Jesse, and was enjoyable, even though we
could not make a deal. The "decision maker" refused every single
offer I made, would not reduce asking price even a penny-- until I
walked away due to tires. I was then offered enough money to
purchase full set of new tires but it was too late by then.

The greatest experience with Mark Porter Chevrolet I worked with Jesse kimes and it was truly a great deal and so willing to work with what I the customer could afford and worked the deal. salesman don't show up to work at opening time, seamed to
busy to help me. Vehicle that i was interested in wasn't
even cleaned up--- muddy, dirty inside and outside. f the
deal was to my standards i still won't buy off of this
dealership!!!
