As I was actively purchasing this vehicle and submitting all required documentation, another salesperson sold the vehicle. This demonstrates poor internal communication and constitutes a bait-and-switch, particularly since I was subsequently asked to consider purchasing a different vehicle.

Despite not being in a rush yet being open to traveling from out of state to pick the vehicle up in a short
amount of time, salesman Carlos appeared generally unmotivated to make a sale and relied on the "we don't
negotiate prices on used vehicles" line.
1) Maybe trust and allow your salespeople the power to negotiate

First attempt to reach this dealership via their online robot resulted in no response. Called the dealership the
next day and reached a guy. He provided the pictures i was looking for. At the time the vehicle was listed for
$35,990. Upon seeking to make a buy, i was told the price was $39,900. Told the guy that i was out at that
price. He responded with if we reverted to the $35,990 would you be interested, i said yes. Followed up by
asking for sales invoice showing price plus all other fees that they add (basically the out the door price), got
no response to this moment.

It’s a horrible experience! They made me drive over an hour claiming that the car is available, but they sold it and tried to have me buy another car that is not certified. Funny thing the guy was telling me the car is ready for the drive test even when I called to make sure before I started driving.

Worst dealership I have ever visited. The manager (Amin) literally lied to me about the listing and lured me to the shop. Upon arriving I found out he never had the car listed on CarGurus but instead tried to sell me older car and just wasted half of my day with his scam. I had to take a day off just to drive up there and got disappointed.

Run don’t walk from this dealership. Still dealing with a very deceptive situation. It has been a nightmare.
Price changed from the time I drove from NC to get the car. Broken windshield not listed on CarFax and never told about until showed the car in person. It was covered up with sticker on pictures and video of the car. Still not fixed as told it would be 38 days later. Items that were told that come with the car still haven’t been received. The salesman didn’t remember he even told me. The staff is very nice but there’s a lack of communication somewhere.
I could write a book on this terrible experience…
Love the car just not the issues I am having to deal with to have it.

The salesman promised us that the car to be sold at MSRP plus tax and tag so we had expected the total cost to be around 40K. After test driving the car, the salesman went to talk to his manager and came back with some process fee of 8K plus some other freight fee for over 1K. The cost he showed us was 50K! But then he said they can knock it down to 42K. As we walked away, the manager came out and said that he can sell it to us at 43.5K. And if we can't afford that then there is an Avalon that has been sitting at the dealership for quite a while that we could negotiate on.

The Overpriced & hidden Fees dealership. If your a customer that likes to do research and get the best deal possible on a new, avoid this dealership. Demand to see the buyers order and you will see that they will add $5,000 nonsense fees and mark ups to take you past MSRP. Imagine they are selling a Toyota Corolla at $30,000 when MSRP from headquarters is at $19k to $23,000k Nonsense!

From January 31 to February 6, both written and verbal communication was exchanged between myself and Lustine Toyota (emails, phone conversations, and text messages). Topics that were discussed included:
- sale price
- trade in value
- All costs and fees associated with certified used car ownership not listed in the advertisement to include sanitation, warrantee/guarantee , DC tax, DC title, DC tags, DC inspection, DC registration, processing, refurbishment
- bottom line cost of ownership
Lustine did not honor the request for a virtual appointment and delivery test drive. They offered no explanation but stated that if my husband and I were to stop by in person, the $15,000 total cost that was negotiated over the previous 6 days would be accepted.
“If you gave me the opportunity to earn your business at $15,000 with examining your trade my Vice President said he is ready to take any deal no matter how crazy it is…” That did not happen so we returned without a vehicle.

I was furious. They made no effort to make amends or show me an equivalent at the same huge reduced sale price. Sent me back in the pouring rain to drive back in the dark by then. Horrid experience. Sales man was great and took a long time for the negotiation. I spent over 6 hours there because I had to wait for finance. There was a
family that went to finance before me and they came after me when my sale was already done which I was annoyed at. Also I find the
manager to be a little rude. He told me that I would not buy a car over $250, when I told him that I had a but which I also said to him that he is
not selling me a call for because of $250.

Purchased a 2019 Tundra. Sales process was ok. The first person seemed clueless for how to title and register a vehicle from another state but after pressing to speak to someone else, it seems to be corrected. The service department did not know how to update tpms sensors from the wheels from the 2014 Tundra that I traded.
Dealership was responsive to emails and phone calls. As I was having to buy out of state, they were very helpful with information on this proceedure, and took care of all the paperwork. When we arrived at the dealership at the prearranged time, the car was ready and waiting for a test drive. Sales rep (Mike Mills) and other staff very professional. I feel we got a fair price for the car, well below MSRP, but would have liked a little more generosity on the trade in. Overall, a good experience.

Worst Toyota dealer ever. I was lied to about the Rav 4 limited that there was no scratches or damage to this vehicle. After driving almost 7 hours the vehicle had scratches all over it. If I could give zero stars I would. Needless to say I left there without the vehicle.

A few sentences cannot describe the horrible, worst ever in my life dealer experience I have ever had. I live 3 hrs away and was adamant about verifying the information over the phone before I drove 3 hrs (with a sick child to boot) When I got to Lustine Toyota, come to find out they had not ran any of the financial information I had given them over the phone, or at least they did not divulge any of the information to me, I asked several times before driving there what my interest rate would be. I was given the run around each time. I arrived at 6pm on a Friday night. I sat there with my sick son for 4+ hours!! The dealership closes at 9pm I was there well after 11pm. I was guaranteed a better rate come Monday on the week day when the banks were opened and they could talk to them. So, they told me to take the vehicle home and Monday they would work on the financing and make it work. I asked them several times to please put that in writting because I wanted to be sure that what they said they would do, they would actually do. Well, I talked to them that Monday...and I was told they would have all the information on Wednesday. When I talked to them on Wednesday, they acted like I was talking a foreign language they didn't know what I was saying that the deal stands as is. I told them that day I would be down Saturday morning at opening to pick my Venza up that I had traded in and to bring back the vehicle I had of theirs. When I got there Saturday morning at 8-9am after driving 3 hours; they could not locate my vehicle. They said they had taken it to another one of their wholesale dealer lots. They did not have the title to my car. I didn't sell it to them because nothing was finalized. My husband was a co owner and he had not been there to sign (I had a POA) so the sale was never complete and they had no right to take my car. They were on the way to selling it! I waited at that dealership until 1pm until they arrived with my toyota venza that they had to drive 2 hours away in MD to get. Not to mention they had taken bolt cutters and cut my MD license plate off the back which had the registration stickers on it which made it illegal for me to drive 3 hours back home!....I was so fed up with them that I just wanted to get out of there. We left, but they gave me my vehicle back with almost an empty gas tank and I had to drive my vehicle back to MD illegally without any plates. By the grace of God, we did not get pulled over. So you tell me how I should feel about Lustine Toyota.

We live in Connecticut 6 hours away. We did everything over the phone, had the preliminary bill of sale faced to us, had our credit
Union check made out to them, picked up our rental car for the trip Sunday morning. They knew we were coming for 12:00 Sunday. We fell asleep early Saturday around 9:00pm woke up at 4:30 am started to get ready to leave when we saw a text from the sales man at 10:30pm sat night that they sold the car. Contacted them later in the day and they couldn't care less what happened.

The salesman on the phone was very positive and helpful. However my experience at the dealership was anything but. I drove three hours with my clear car title in hand and cash in my pocket fully intending to buy the advertised car. The mechanical condition of the car nor its price were not as indicated on the phone.

I received a return call the same evening I sent an email of interest. The
sales person I spoke with was fantastic. My husband drove 90 minutes to
check out the car the following day. The sales person was expecting my
husband and was ready to work with him immediately; we bought the car.
They were patient allowed me to send my information via email and text, as I
could not physically be there. We have received at least 3 follow up emails
from the dealership. Wonderful to work with! Highly recommend.

responded to my request for additional information on a 2012 Toyota
Camry LE listed at $ 14, 488. The final price for the car came in at
$16,458, after the dealer add on, plus taxes, title and fees. Consumers, do
not do business with LUSTINE!

The dealer responded right away to my inquiry saying that the vehicle about which I inquired had already sold. He offered another option in which I am mildly interested. I have not pursued the second option as yet. The dealer has called three times to see when I can come look at it and that is a bit annoying.
