About Us
Legacy Auto Center is a family owned and operated Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership located in Garden City, KS. Jason and Jennifer Dougherty opened Legacy in 2010 as a used car lot with only one part time secretary to help answer phones. Over the years, Legacy grew and the Dougherty’s were able to hire an entire staff of employees. In 2015, Chrysler approached the Dougherty’s with an offer to become a franchise, an opportunity the Dougherty’s consider a blessing. Since their decision to become a Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM store, they have continued to grow and are able to assist customers that come from all over Southwestern Kansas.

The sales lady was very helpful and friendly. The whole staff did a great job.
Well for one I found this car while stationed overseas and made an appointment to go see it. So I made sure to reach out and contact them and stayed in contact until I came back to the states. I drove over a hundred miles to buy the vehicle and was told the person I had been dealing with was not there at the time we agreed on. Than cone to find out after I got there that the vehicle i was interested in was sent to auction last week. They wanted me to look at another vehicle and i said no thank you i wanted that one. As I was driving out of the lot I saw the van that they had supposedly sold at auction parked in the back. So I left. I will not be doing any business with them because they didnt even have the common decency to let me know in either an email or a phone call that they had auctioned off the vehicle. So ZERO STARS I suggest staying clear

These guys are small, but really treat you like family. Great selection, fair
pricing and an overall wonderful experience.
The vehicle was not even close for a test drive. The transmission
slipped out of drive during my test drive and the vehicle was in such a
mess that I don't see how they could have been proud of letting
someone see the vehicle in such a condition.

When you arrived, we wanted to give you the chance to see it since you had made a trip to the dealership, but never would have scheduled an online test drive for it had you requested one. Again we apologize, and hope we are able to find you a vehicle that fits your needs and budget.

Don't call you back. Happy to take your information and then there to busy to ever call back..i had to call them to much only to never hear from them again..i have up on them. Had not even talk about money yet
