Iâm still looking at vehicles of Chevy, Ford, GMC and Jeep. A
common issue with some sellers that list their vehicles as manual 5 or
6 speed manual and the pictures show theyâre automatics. Lahtiâs
Jeep Weâre nice enough to contact me or answer my questions so I
rate them a 4 star, if I buy from them it would be a 5 star rating.
I have bought a vehicle from this dealer before and it wasn't a great experience. They had another vehicle that I liked, and thought I would give them another shot. They low balled the trade by $2k. That was even after showing KBB and NADA trade value. I also 2 offers $1500 and $1700 higher than their offer. Management is not good to deal with.
took several weeks to contact me, finally met for test drive loved the vehicle, ask if i could
purchase for price it was in June, salesman said nope not going to happen it's non negotiable.
i said it has been on the lot for almost a year. but i guess no sale works for them i was very
disappointed and wanted to purchase but we didn't even go inside to talk.
he did apologize for not getting back to me sooner though. it was just not what i expected for
sales.
My experience with this dealer was aweful and discouraging. I spoke with 3 or 4 sales rep. Who really didn't see me as a viable customer! There was no customer relationship between myself and these Reps. No business acumen at all. Although i must give 2 stars to the owner, he took my call after hours and spoke very kindly to me on the phone, reassured me the truck was still available but with a higher price tag which to me escalated to deceptive practices among Lahtis staff. But its not right, but its ok! Because i will continue to look for what i want and what i can afford! There are dealers who will not put the price out of reach for perspective buyers. This whole ordeal is mystifying to me, out of all dealers i have dealt with and have never been denied a car loan or marked up so high its unaffordable to certain individuals.
