Never felt like more of taking advantage of, I guess they thought I wouldn't know better, or that I would check out financing with a bank I trust. The first truck I looked at wasn't in good running condition. They refused to show the mechanics report. They sent us to They other lot, though we found one that would work. The day I was suppose to pick it up salesman was off and didn't think about telling me the day before when we meet. They sold it out from under me supposedly.

Truck was pending when called and was spoken for yet still on the website. Slightly frustrating when trying to purchase. Staff was kind.

Nice people, but didn't have what was advertised when I talked with them.
Now I didn't end up purchasing from this dealer but was satisfied with the experience. Long story short, I asked the dealer explicit questions by email and asked to be contacted back by email. The dealer did exactly what was asked and gave me all the information I needed! This I am finding is very hard to find in a lot of car dealers! That said, I would purchase a vehicle from Lafontaine Ford! Thanks for getting me the information I wanted...

Overall everything was pretty good. I felt like they maybe tried to nickel and dime me a little after the deal was done. Contract initially came out $100 over what we agreed on, and the car only had one key fab for a few minutes, but I held them to the original deal and they honored it. And after reminding them that I wanted 2 fabs, which we had discussed, they were able to locate the second one. Could have been all coincidence, but it just felt like typical used car shenanigans. Ultimately, they did the right thing in both items so in am a satisfied customer.
It was a very nice vehicle buying experience! They were not pushy at all. They offfered us many options that they were required to offer but did not hassle us in any way to purchase the extras. We really like our vehicle and would definitely do business again with them if they had a vehicle we are interested in.

I requested information about the truck on Sunday. They contacted me on Monday morning.
They made me a great offer for my trade and I drove the truck home on Monday evening. Very quick and easy experience. This dealer bent over backwards to make me happy. They offered me some upgrades like extended warrantee and other things but did not pressure me on any one on them. I bought the extended warrantee. Loce the truck.

Thier team responded promptly & directed me to Robert (asst. used car sales mgr.). He was very helpful in explaining the operational capabilities of the Ford Explorer that I test drove. He worked with me on a price I was comfortable with and showed me thier multi-point vehicle inspection as I did purchase the vehicle. The team offered me the opportunity to purchase several extended warranty options and although I declined I did not feel pressured to do so. I feel my experience was very plesant & would both recommend them to others as well as use them again in the future.

Dealer sold vehicle before i got there to buy it. Even though they said they wouldn't show it to anyone else. Complete fail. Very unhappy. I drove two hours to go get that vehicle, and when I got there they told me that they sold it. No stars are needed but the website wont let me do no stars.

Truck delivered dirty, had to buy a second key because the dealer only had one and would not reimburse me for the cost of the second key ($160). Would not respond to my e-mails.

LaFontaine Ford of Lansing is amazing! I found a great used car, had the best experience with Don and Neil, and all of the staff were friendly to each other and to the customers. This is a fantastic dealership, highly recommended!
