I brought in my mechanic to check car and he found a couple mechanical issues. As a woman I wouldn't recommend going to a place like this that unless you really know how to check for issues. John salesperson was helpful and I would recommend going to him.

Sales staff were great!
The sales guy that we spoke to went to bat for us big time. We were having issues with our insurance company in regards to an accident with our previous car. He was able to get us a car that we could afford, and that the insurance would accept. The car we got was very clean and drove very nice. The price that was listed is the price we paid for the vehicle.

Very responsive, but not very helpful beyond
initial response. I ended up purchasing elsewhere
where the dealership associates were more
serious and not just solely trying to get you to do
a test drive.
Even giving 1 star is stretching it due to the bad experience I received. I was assisted by Kaylee B through email and text for all the financing and application. Communication was good until I arrived at the dealer. I was told they had good rates and that they would have the car ready for me to test drive upon arrival. I am an hour away and told her I would arrive at 6 PM only to get there and tell me that the car was just sold. I was assisted by Jeremy and his story was that he gifted himself the vehicle for his divorce. I do not understand how one of their values is of faith and yet I drove an hour away to be told a lie about the vehicle. It was a waste of time, gas, and miles driving to a place who do not care about customers. If there was no deal, the simple truth could have been told instead of lying and wasting my time.

Worst dealership I have ever dealt with. We drove 2 hours to arrive to a car that literally ran out of gas in the parking lot. Then the cherry on the top was a $2800 fee for prep and delivery. They also wanted to charge us extra for not using their in house financing. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from any Kunes dealerships. Beware!
Poor horrible experience! Drove over an hour to this dealer to go look at a car I was certain about buying. Upon arrival the car wasn’t even AVAILABLE. They claimed they sent the car out as a loaner but didn’t bother to CALL OR RESCHEDULE WITH US. But since we were there already, they offered to show us a similar vehicle. They said was more affordable and had lower mileage. Which was a LIE. When we confronted them about it they said “oh well we changed the online pricing of the original vehicle you were looking at so yeah this comparable vehicle is cheaper”, and it had more mileage than the vehicle we went to see. Funny thing is the vehicle we went to see is still listed at the online price they claimed was changed. These people are liars and crooks! They tried to sell me a comparable vehicle that was priced way over KBB and almost another $10,000 in DEALER fees! SIX RED ’s for you not to shop here. We should have walked out of this place at the first two red ’s. KUNES LOL FJ
Asked about the warranty on the vehicle initially. Worked with 2 different salesmen. Sent me a spec sheet and cleared me to travel 270 miles to proceed with the purchase and pickup. Arrived and 3 hours later informed that the vehicle was being sold as-is and an absurd warranty of $20k was offered. Very disappointed, a complete waste of time, and very costly on my trade-in adding an additional 530 miles. Never again!

Good experience just could not reach a deal
After they called me to confirm my
appointment at the dealership, I drove 2 hours
to BUY a truck they had. Only to find out they
traded the truck that morning without letting
me know. Then they tried to make things right
by getting me a deal on a truck from one of
their other lots. We came to an agreement on
price and i had to drive all the way back a
couple days later to get the truck. When I got
there they wanted an extra $7000 over what
we had agreed on price, including a $2000
transport fee that was not discussed. Terrible
dealership and management. Aaron lied to my
face on price as well as Phil, the manager, on
multiple occasions. I would avoid this
dealership at all costs.

I contacted the dealer about this vehicle, and we had been communicating for about 5 days. We had set up an appointment to see the vehicle, and I drove an hour and a half to the dealership. When I got to the appointment, the car had been sold 2 days prior. Nobody bothered to tell me the car was not even there before I drove to the dealership. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Kunes CDJR of Sycamore.
Went over the top with honesty and convenience in purchasing the exact car I wanted. Kudos to the entire staff making this purchase pleasurable from the start with my sales associate Jaryn Canó to finance to management. Kudos to Samantha of Kunes calling me and letting me know the Challenger was not sold and waiting for me to buy it. Thank you ❤️Kunes of Sycamore ! I ❤️ My new vehicle .

Terrible sales experience. I started talking with a salesperson and even a sales manager about purchasing a truck on a Tuesday. I live over an hour from the dealership and simply requested actual photos of the truck before making the drive. I told them both very specifically that I work Monday - Friday and wanted to come look at it that Saturday. They couldn't get me the photos until Saturday afternoon. I made plans to rush down after work Monday evening as they supposedly can't sell vehicles on Sunday. I then get an email Sunday from Car Gurus (where I found their listing) saying the truck had sold. No communication from the dealership or the salesperson. I tried contacting them Sunday and got nothing. Couldn't even leave a message as their "voice-mail is full". Finally get ahold of someone today (still no response from salesperson) and was informed it sold Saturday night at 8:15, 2 hours after their posted closing time. They had a Jeep Wrangler Sahara posted for 35,136. The vehicle was exactly what I wanted so I contacted them and said I would buy it but couldn't get there until Saturday. He said no problem I'll talk to the sales manager and get a deposit price. When he called back I was told because of my zip code it would actually cost $37,500. What!!!!!!!!!!! I then contacted Jeep and asked if they had price restrictions based on where customers lived and the rep said she had no idea what I was talking about and had never heard of such a thing. I'm not sure of the game they are playing but I won't be a part of it. Last I checked the vehicle is posted on car gurus for 37,156 but on the dealer website for 35,156 listing dc19-68. If this is the Jeep for you good luck buying it I'm not so sure they want to sell it.

They replied to my email inquiry one week later to tell me that the car was sold. Gee...thanks for nothing. Then they said I can by any other car in their inventory. I don't want the other crap in their inventory! I called the used car manager (Chris) a week before the car was sold. He said he would get back to me later that day as he literally knew nothing about the car. He never called back. Then their phone lines were out all weekend. Really poor organizational skills and service.

The car was what I expected. Only the features that I was looking for without excess additions. This model had a fixed seat height for the driver that made entry awkward at best. They found an exact match but with an adjustable seat. Sold!

This was a terrible experience. I am a 10+ year customer with
Brian Bemis and bought two new cars at his dealership. This time
I needed a used car for my daughters and I went with a 2010
Toyota Corolla with high mileage. The cars had a couple of dents
which was not a problem. What really disappointed me that the
sales staff was deliberately hiding defects from me. The former
owner must have driven with high heels and worked her way
through the floor mat and the floor carpet leaving a nasty hole.
The hole was covered with a paper mat and then carefully sealed
with plastic wrap. I would have had to rip all these materials out to
see the damage. In addition the spare key was totally bent.
Nobody even bothered to show me the key. Then, the next day
the dales person calls and I inform him about the defects that
were hidden from me. But of course I get the standard answer
that I bought the car as is. The next day the sales person has the
nerve to call me again to ask me if I am still satisfied with the car.
Once again I tell him about the defects and he tells me I should
get it repaired at his dealership at my expense.
Brian Bemis has lost me as a customer!
