Horrible misleading deceptive sales
practices. Manager Brett Mann and
salesman Marc. . I
came to test drive an Audi A7 on the used
car lot. I felt a braking hesitation and
suspension problems. I was told by Marc
and Brett if I was approved for the car,
they would repair the problems. After
qualifying for the car . They told me it was
going into the shop for repair. A week past
with no update on the car, after calling
several times. I went to the dealership for
answers and was told by Brett that the
cost was to much to repair, base on the
advertised cost of the car. Of course I'm
not buying a car with mechanical issues. I
suffered inquires on my credit, based on
lies.

Car was not ready due to failed Hyundai inspection. I wasn't told this until signing the title for my trade-in and giving the dealer the cashier's check. I was told to come back the next day. It was not ready on that day either. I emailed the general sales manager concerning the delay but never received a response. Car was finally ready 2 days after the day I was supposed to collect it.

Worst dealer I’ve done business with. The car I bought from them a week ago has mechanical problems that they never mentioned to me. The price that the “manager” Sal And I agreed on was not the same price I signed for when finalizing the deal (that was my fault I should have checked the paperwork), when I realized the price difference a day later I drove to the dealer, Sal the “manager” told me he didn’t know why the price had increased but since I had signed the contract already there was little to nothing they could do for me. Don’t waste your time or money with them, once they have your money they don't care about you anymore.

Car was listed for 6k, arrived at dealer and they told me the actual price was 7,700 after tax and title transfer. Ridiculous! Tax in TX is 6.25% plus TT.
They listed "things" they did to the car since it arrived to justify the price increase. Among those, 399 for flor mats, 99 for nitrogen in the tires, etc. You see where I'm going.
The ad was deceitful.

Contacted the dealer multiple times regarding a vehicle I was interested in. Initially they responded, but failed to deliver information on the car, even with multiple follow up emails.
Not worth the effort, don't get your hopes up since they may not even work with you to purchase a car.

I filled out the Car Gurus form saying that I was interested in a used Hyundai Santa Fe about 8 o'clock in the evening and got a quick response from my salesman, Stephen
Ruiz, that same evening. We made an appointment the next morning and Stephan texted me that morning to confirm our appointment. We had a phone conversation about
the car and I agreed to buy it....filled out a loan application on line. When we arrived at Sterling McCall Hyundai, Stephan had the car sitting out front. It was all cleaned up
and ready to go. After looking it over and a test drive I signed the documents Stephen had already prepared and he sent them over to Sal in finance. All went well there and
the loan was approved. Sal did a fine job of explaining the financing and all the detailed costs; I signed the documents and we left with our new (used) Santa Fe. Stephan

Price advertised wasn’t the price. Los balled on trade by 50% and tried to add an additional 4K due to car shortage. There are plenty of cars. Don’t waist your time.

Called and talked to sales person, inquiring about a car listed for sale in used cars. Sales person was in New car building and was going to walk over to used cars to verify if car was still on lot for sale and would call me back because nobody was answering the phone in used cars. Never heard back, bought a car from somewhere else. I was urgently looking for a car to buy that day so y'all lost a possible sale because I did buy another car.

Look out for this dealer. Make sure you read all the "misc. things" they try to charge you that you dont have an option to refuse. For instance:
They had sent me a break down of what they are asking for a vehicle that was priced at $24,992 the final price being $27,997. ($3,005 on top
of what the vehicle was priced). I understand tt&l sure. But that seemed like a lot of tax right? Well the sales associate (Maria) sent me an
invoice showing all the items that were in this $3005. Items that were NOT included with the vehicle price of $24,992 were : $349 for
matching floor mats, $199 for wheel locks, $98 for nitrogen, VIT fee $51.25. VIT? The VIT is a property tax that dealerships are charged so
this dealership is kind enough to pass it on to their customers. Sweet deal right? And the sales associated could not comprehend that I didnt
need financing. If there was option for zero stars thats what i would have give.. So watch out for these clowns.

I am write this message because of my terrible experience at this Hyundai location today..
I came in to buy the 2010 Toyota Highlander priced at a price on the website, I did call before going and the representative told me that if I come in I can negotiate the price a little, which made me drive almost 30miles down to get the Highlander.
Only for me to get there I was told the Highlander was not working had alternator problem, bad battery, and they cannot go down on the price. I was really disappointed and had to drive back 30miles without no success.
I even text the manager and he is yet to reply me till now.

Had me drive to dealership on premise they were going to negotiate on price of vehicle. False information they would not budge on price of vehicle. Plus they tack on an extra 1000.00 for tire refill and lifetime tint warranty as the salesman mumbled other things to which was bogus. Was very disappointed.

I expressed some interest in a vehicle that they had I was quickly reached out too by a young lady named Siarra, with her I scheduled a test drive for the following day. I arrived anticipating seeing Maria, turns out she was busy and Sam offered to help we made introductions and went to the used lot he never asked me what brought me in he just sat a credit application and a pen in front of me. I explained I was only there to test drive he seemed frustrated with me he said okay Kristina lets go I corrected him with my name again. We test drove and I noticed some mechanical things, when we returned I asked about the engine light and a reflector on the back. Sam said the reflector would not be fixed since it was a used car and was not needed and was mearly for looks. My sister asked a few more questions he was condescending to and walked away. I had to correct him several more ts about my name. I understand that it is different but effort to pronounce it correctly would have been nice.

Bought the truck but had to purchase a $995 "dealer package" I did not want nor was I given any information on what the Hyundai dealer care
package was. I still do not have any information on what I was forced to purchase. Paint care? widow tinting? Nitrogen in my tires? Wheel
locks?
None of these were done before I purchased the truck except I think the windows were already tinted by orginal owner not the dealer.
Did very good on finance, beat my Capital One prearranged finance APR.

We drove to Houston and took the car for a drive and were pleased with it. We were
going to purchase the car, paying cash. When they presented us with a proposal, it
had the listed price, plus TTL, PLUS a $995 dollar "Hyundai value package" added
on. This may be common practice but it did not seem right to us. We were willing to
pay the listed price plus TTL, but they were only willing to knock off a few hundred
from the added charge saying they were already at "cost." If that were the case, they
should have listed it higher. We walked out and drove home.

I emailed and called to verify the truck I wanted to look at was available. Karen assured me that it was. I asked her to make sure because I'd be driving 2+
hours to get there from where I live. She "went to check" and called me back 10 minutes later and said they definitely had the truck. I asked if there were
any obvious or significant issues and she said "no, no our service department does a thorough inspection". I drove 2+ hours (she called me on the way to
make sure I was on my way) and arrived to find a salesman that said she stepped out and that the truck I wanted had lots of issues and had been sent to
auction earlier in the week. Turns out Karen works in internet sales and according to the manager there doesn't even work at that location. They hadn't
had the truck for a few days, they just lied to get me in the door, then attempted to get me to look at "similar vehicles" NOT EVEN AT THE SAME
LOCATION. Wasted 5 hours of driving. Terrible, dishonest people.

Mike at South Loop Hyundai made my purchasing experience very smooth and easier than I’d thought it would be. I bought the Jeep. Buying experience went smoothly. When I picked it up, part of the air cleaner assembly had been removed for the car wash. I did not see this at the dealership, as it was raining so I did not open the hood. So far, I have not heard from the dealership regarding this missing piece. It was in place when I first inspected and drove the car, as remembered by both the salesman and me. It's not a huge deal, but a bit disappointing.

I've bought about 10-15 cars over the last 25 years and this was definitely
the easiest car-buying experience I've had. Dustin contacted me pretty
much instantaneously after I inquired through CarGurus, I did a test drive,
made an offer and it was accepted. That part of the process took about 30
minutes. I had my own financing and came back a couple days later to take
ownership. This part of the process brought the pace to a crawl due to
some errors on the paperwork (dealer's issue) but I still give them my
highest mark--this part always takes forever. These guys treated me like an
intelligent grownup and gave me a great price on my vehicle.
