Unfortunately the price for Jim’s Auto Sales vehicles on Cargurus is not accurate. They offer optional extras but there will be a $2,000 mandatory increase due to a Low Jack being installed without the buyer’s opinion. This cost is not reflected on Cargurus.
This vehicle was for sale over a month without a price reduction. I attempted to negotiate the price and was informed by the salesman their vehicles are sold for only $300 to $400 more than what they pay for them. Please be aware Jim’s Auto Sales is not willing to negotiate price.
The salesman had a professional tone throughout our interaction.
I had an amazing experience working with Richard at Jim's Auto Sales. They handled everything. I live about 400 miles away. I never really had to leave my living room. They quickly responded to my every question, took care of all the paperwork, negotiated excellent fianceing and had my truck delivered to my front door. I love my new truck! Thanks to Richard and Jim's Auto Sales.

Awful. I purchased this vehicle and the entire transaction felt like a hostage exchange. I
do not recommend this type of process given my experience with Jims Auto Sale. Peter
was the car salesman I worked with and it could not have been a more awful experience
dealing with him. I highly suggest he works on his customer skills. At one point when I
was asking about the delivery he stated "I am not gonna repeat myself" which I just
needed some clarification. I additionally received keys that did not work, tires
mismatched and one with a nail in it. This cost me about $2,000 to get all new tires that
matched to avoid damaging my "new" vehicle. If you decide to go through with this type
of purchase do NOT USE Jims Auto Sales. When I contacted to make this right were
not helpful at all. I was told car was inspected no issues and I was wrong. They need to
work on their integrity and also customer service. I will NEVER work with them again or
refer them to ANYONE not even my worst enemy.

I communicated with Ed Tapper by email. He responded in good time about the car and how he can assist me. I love the car but my mechanic said, "no, don't purchase it, you can find the same car in Virginia, plus I want to inspect it first and it's in California ". That's why I didn't purchase it.

Got back to me in minutes and very professional
Raised the price after I contacted them. They said it was a holiday special. Asked me to make an offer....

Response from current dealership:
Occasionally, companies have sales. After the sales the prices raise back up to the pre-sale price. This is common practice in the retail world. None the less, we are sorry you had a negative experience.

I didn't like the attitude of the dealer...he wasn't very helpful in actually trying to sell me on the car and would not work with me at all on the price. It is very far, but I
decided to drive over an hour to get there. When we got to the lot, we were walking around for like 10 minutes before anyone came out. Then when he did come out, he
sort of just followed us around the lot as we looked at things instead of giving us information on deals they had or inventory or even just general conversation.
Then, when I let him know I was interested in the car and wanted to buy it but would love for him to negotiate the price, he was unwilling to budge even a dollar. In fact,
the price has been raised by almost a thousand dollars since the visit.
I like the car but just didn't get a good vibe from its seller.

Response from current dealership:
Rahkua, we are sorry about your negative experience. Sometimes customers complain if we don't give them space. It seems like in your case we had given you too much space. In addition, CarGurus is a price driven website as such we usually post our bottom dollar price. Many dealerships implement this same practice.

Contacted Jim's Auto Sales inquiring about an S2000 they had listed for sale. Mike got back to my promptly and provided all the documentation that I had requested. Test drove the car and they have some well taken care of cars on the lot. Ended up with another vehicle, but Mike was always courteous and followed up with me until me decision was made. I will definitely give them a shot again in the future.

...just not ready to buy. They have been in contact

Responded quickly, very nice to deal with. However the truck was not 4x4 and that's the only reason I didn't purchase the vehicle.

Sam was very helpful.
BEWARE! The salesman, Ace, would not let me test drive the
car without FIRST running a credit check. I was seriously
interested in this car but I'd never driven the
Miata before and I had no intention of giving them all of my
information on a car that I didn't even know I would like. Ace
was adamant and fine to let me walk away. He had no idea
that I could more than afford this car. It's the principal. I have
gone on to test driver different cars - expensive cars - by only
showing them my license. And I purchased a car yesterday.
Save your time, energy, and gas. Go to a major dealership.

Response from current dealership:
We apologize for the negative experience you had. Given, we have multiple request to test drive cars daily, especially performance oriented ones.

Mike called me back. Great communications trying to make a deal happen. Car was $2,100 above market so I passed. Great car though.

I have no dealings with them, so can't comment. I was curious as to why they listed a Honda 2002 but the front in the picture is a 2004 or later.
It's quite obvious the vehicle in the ad has been modified but there is no mention of the circumstances involved. This leads me to not want to do business with that dealer.

Response from current dealership:
Phil, sometimes we put the wrong year stickers on the cars. Especially if we have multiples of the same type of car. We are human, shit happens.
