The purchase price was fair but the $2,500+ “dealer fees” were ridiculous. Be careful buying a car from these folks. Look at all the fees and charges they apply on top of the sale price.

I asked the salesman (Greg Block) twice about costs, he never answered. Then their sales manager called me and gave me some vague numbers. I asked them to put those service cost in writing and they did not. They also charges outrageous fees which cost more than $2,000 while other luxury dealerships only charge less than $1,000; more over, they have additional $1,000 fees which they never explained. Their fee cost is at least $2,000 more than other comparable dealers .

Like everyone else on here, i just returned from a 4 hour drive and visit that was a total bait
and switch model. First they did not show me the car that I wanted, which had 13,034 miles,
showed me one with 19603 miles that was $2000 higher, then added junk fees adding 50% to
the cost of the car. What a scam. From a Jaguar dealer. I will be informing Jaguar America of
this practice. Add ons that I do not want, legally I do not have to add them. Disgusting
experience for sure. Disappointed big time. Oh and I had cash with me to pay, they wanted
me to finance it for more profit they said. What a bad dealership and dishonest big time.

Shannon responded and set an appointment that worked with my schedule. She was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly getting me in to my new car
I called about a vehicle, was told that the vehicle was available, and made an appointment to come in the same day. I was running 30
minutes behind, which would have put me halfway through the trip, and then I received a phone call that the car was no longer available
and sold the day before. A few days later, a Salesperson called and informed me that it was a mistake, that the car was still available, and
that I wanted to make an appointment to buy it.
The salesperson assured me that he double-checked and that the vehicle was still available, and I made an appointment to come to buy
the vehicle at 10 am the following day. I called 30 minutes before my arrival, and the salesperson confirmed that the vehicle was still
available and that he was waiting for me. When I got there after an hour of drive time, I was told that the vehicle had been sold days ago,
but another more expensive one was available. I would not waste my time going to that dealership. Very UNTRUSWORTHY! Buyers BE

You will be baffled by the fees that represent profits to the dealer. They will not negotiate those fees and you will not be getting the car at cost. They will not explain the purpose of the fees if they even would “add value”. If the fees are taxable, it’s negotiable. Move along with your next dealer search.
Bait and switch. The vehicle is not a limited and the salesperson, Marc Vertus, sent me this: We do have a disclaimer that does state $26,925 is plus tax, tag, title, registration, any dealer-installed accessories, and a pre-delivery service fee of $1198, Private Tag Agency Fee of $189, and Electronic Registration Filing Fee of $559.55, which charges represent costs and profits to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning, and adjusting vehicles and preparing documents related to the sale. Both New and Pre-owned vehicle plus Jaguar Land Rover Sarasota Protection Package $2,608.95.
Run very far from these people.

Not happy with the Manager Maytee @ Jaguar Land Rover. I was going to travel to the dealer to purchase the car. I called and spoke with a sales person and told me we
can work together. I also email the General Manager at the Dealership and he passed it to the Manager Maytee. She told me that All fees are firm and can not be
changed. I told her I am going to take the car back to Vermont and that the JLR Sarasota Advantage which at the time cost $2,408.95 and the Documentation fees
$1,198.00 are all Firm. She then told me I should look closer to where I live instead. I email the GM again and he said he was very sorry about the fees but they do put
them in every disclaimer to clearly show that we add them to every used car. I email him back and he told sent it over to Maytee and she sent a new quote for more
money. The JLR Advantage fee went up this time. I guess a Firm fee can be changed as long as it goes up.

Unfortunately I will have to leave a negative comment. Your sales policy is weak. Initial e-mail and telephone correspondence went well. However, after being persuaded to come for an inspection, I wasted the whole day and it turned out that almost 30% of the car's price had been added to the asking price. I suggest including reliable information in the "Seller's Disclaimer" tab. During a visit to the showroom, it turned out that the car was dirty (Bird droppings, which are harmful to the paint, were on the car). The description lacked important information and photos showing damage and scratches to the car. There is no information that the car was used in a rental company (supposedly one owner but many drivers). One key is included, so another cost is about $500. Online price $22,950 and price payable $29,500.
I offered the price of $27,000, despite the defects and minor scratches as well as the high mileage, and I was told that it was a ridiculous price. Overall, I don't recommend it

After purchasing 5 cars from jaguar Land
Rover in Sarasota over.a decade I was
shocked at the pricing I received from the new
regime on a used car today. To use the term
garbage fees is an insult to garbage ! $2000
for window etch and other nonsense ? $1200
doc fee. $1350 for a recondition fee ? Really,
so now the customers pay to recon a used car
for front line sale ? Isn't that what dealers are
are in the actual business of doing, buy cars
recondition them and sell them? I'm not a shy
person but this was actually insulting to
informed buyers. Have some self respect as a
buyer and move on when you're presented
with this greed. More importantly teach your
children or grandchildren that when a business
shows a disregard for its customers they
should not feel obligated to engage in their
own financial exploitation. This is not about
having money as many do it's about
respecting money.
After making a Saturday appointment, my Jaguar that I was driving to the
appointment started shutting down. I live in Charlotte County. 1 hour drive.
I thought it was the battery and turned around to go home.
When I called the dealer and salesman all they wanted to know was when I would
be in. Also explaining he thought it would be ok to drive up anyway. What? My car is
not running right. Really that's your experienced answer after being in the car
business for years, you tell a single girl to drive the car anyway 1 hour from home?
This dealer offered nothing but bad advice.
Example
"Let me find out for you, let me connect you to service," Left me hanging. Almost to
say "let me know when you will be coming in and giving me his schedule of his
hours." I called and scheduled my repair with a different business and yes it was
the battery.
I paid cash for my Jaguar and will do the same with my next vehicle.

Fantastic dealership. Everyone that I had contact
with were true professionals. If I ever have a
chance to deal with them again I would definitely
do so. Iâm sorry we could not make a deal.

Inquired about a truck, was told it was available,,
said he had the keys in his hand.
immediately told him I'd fly down and get it,
bought a plane ticket, then salesman texts me
saying it just sold. Like I said, scumbags.
