This vehicle has been on CarGurus for 60+ days when I inquired about it they sent me a video telling me it has been sold with the only other one that they have and wanted to know if I was interested in any other vehicles. I responded to them and told them they need to take this ad off of CarGurus
I asked them to hold the car as I was on my way. When i arrived; they told me it had sold and
were pushing me towards more expensive vehicles. I asked for an appraisal. which was never
done. I got a phone call from them an hour after I left stating the car was still for sale. The trip
was 125 miles each way so I declined. The car is now listed $1000 less and is still listed. I
probably would have purchased the car, but their attitude was bad and pushy.

They still keep in touch with me about the Buick they have it in the Reconditioning stage they text me like every three days to let me know that the car is still for sale but they have to I guess work on it to make sure it’s up to par

Terrible. After agreeing to test drive the vehicle at noon the next day. 1 hour later I got a car guru update saying price of truck had been raised 4K $. As assumed I did not drive the truck and would not do business with someone that would do that.

I was contacted quickly from Jack Schmidt Ford. I went in and test drove vehicle and talk to a salesman. Then I was contacted by two other people which Only confused the deal. In the end the numbers for sales screwed up I walked away from the deal. I would not say that it was a good experience but I know many people who have had good experiences

WANTED AN OFFER BEFORE I COULD DRIVE THE TRUCK.!!!REPEATEDLY WASTED MY TIME. I contacted their sales thru Cargurus on Dec 30th about a 2017 Titan XD. They would not even consider a price reduction even though the truck didn't book for value to what they were asking, so I went about my business. That night the price was lowered by $1,300 on Cargurus. A few days later it was lowered an additional $2,000. The sales staff repeatedly emailed me and called me and obtained permission for an overnight test drive. Upon calling back to reserve the truck I was completely shut down by management and was told I had to run credit and make an offer before I could even drive it. Who makes an offer without a test drive ? Never experienced games like this before with my local dealers.

Was an ok trip. We test drove a few cars but ended up going elsewhere as they didn't really have what I was looking for. Sales guy was" let's go to the office to check on one car if we have it" which was just a ploy to get us inside to meet the manager. Overall he was pleasant to deal with but that didn't really give us warm fuzzy.

I asked a simple question that was never answered and then a few days later was informed the car was sold. It appears that they do not read the comment section so why is it there. I wanted to pay cash and not finance the car. Simple question. I really can't rate a dealer that only sent me an auto reply type email.

I found the car I was looking for, including colors and options at Jack Schmitt Ford. The advertised price was the best anywhere by far. The price was so good, I was very suspicious and apprehensive. The salesman I talked to, Chris, was very easy to talk to and sounded trustworthy, so I put a small down payment over the phone so that they would hold it for a week for me. Booked a flight from Florida and arrived with the paperwork ready to go. The car had a full tank of gas and was recently cleaned. Price did not change and I was out the door with my new car in short order. Everyone I talked to was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Great customer service. Most car salespeople will tell you what you want to hear, but these guys put it in writing. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Drove over an hour to look at a vehicle just to find out once I got there that it had already been sold. A phone call or text message would have went a long way. Then they had the nerve to try and sell me a similar vehicle that was $14k more than what I came to look at.

5 star...was treated like a customer the moment I walked thru their doors. .no complaints answered all questions i presented to them....nice staff as well
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, #1 the list price for the 2015 explorer was $13,998 they are also offering a discount of 1000 financing so I contacted them offered cash price of $12,998.
The response was you misunderstood the listing was $13,998 with a 1k discount, cash price is $14,998 no place in there description does it state this the LIST price is LIST PRICE. Specifically the list price should of been $14,998 but they are being deceptive DUE to the fact it is the cheapest listing for a sport so it is almost 1st on lowest price.
If they would of just said we will give it to you for $13,998 cash it would be off there lot right now but forcing people to finance through them sounds like a screw job when a salesman wont give the same discount for a cash sale.

The internet salesperson contacted me right away and
I wanted to go in and purchase the car that day. Good
thing I mentioned the white car with the blacked out
wheels because the photo they uploaded on the
website was not the car I wanted or thought I was
getting. She said it was a red car and that was just a
stock photo. Internet salesperson was very friendly
though and said she would keep looking for the exact
car I was looking for.
Fantastic experience buying went through Zack in sales a great guy. Value and vehicle were both great!. Was disappointed with the guy who was rude and arrogant trying to push the extended warranty in finance. I did not deduct anything from the review as he was filling in for someone on holidays and not a regular employee.

I wouldn't do business with this dealer again. I received a poor experience from the sales team while comparing two vehicles. I test drove car #1 and then test drove car #2 to compare. While on test drive #2, they allowed another buyer to test drive the first car. By time I returned from my #2 drive and decided I wanted car #1, the other buyer was already moving in!! Moved their car junk in and everything. I was livid. The sales team didn’t fight for my choice and tell the other buyer that I was there first either. I was told that my signature wasn’t on the car yet, so it was up for grabs to anyone. Completely unprofessional, I’ve never experienced anything so ridiculous. Loss on Jack Schmitt because I practically walked in with cash on hand and they wasted my time. I could have been done and on my way. Never returning...
Overall I had a fantastic experience. No issues. Customer service and hospitality was amazing. The price was unbeatable on the car I purchased and it was in superb condition. The detailing was fabulous as well. Chris did a great job keeping in touch with me with no pressure sales and finally the transaction was very smooth. Thank you!!

The ad states the car has "dual exhaust". It does not. I hurried 20 miles
to see it in the rain to discover this. The lack of dual exhaust means it
does not have the "performance and handling package" that I have been
searching for... It has been 5 days now and they have not changed FALSE
listing. This led to my need to review...
My salesman at the former Ford, Lincoln, MERCURY dealer did not know
Jack Schmitt about the Grand Marquis in general, let alone this example
proven by his not knowing they ALL came with V8 engines...
The second person I sought out across the street in the main building
was more helpful and seemed concerned. I say seemed because I feel if
he were actually passionate they would have fixed the listing by now.

Hi Samuel. We are very sorry that your experience was anything less than outstanding. We do apologize for the error, but we rely on what is called "Vin Explosion" software programs to supply a description of the vehicle that is largely determined by information extrapolated from the VIN. We do our best to go in and add custom comments about vehicle conditions, added features, etc. but from time to time there are errors.
A sales manager did advise our inventory provider of the error but during that time frame the vehicle sold. Adjusting it then was a moot point.

Faris Mashaleh, You visited Thursday on our 17 Mustang- trading a Traverse. We wouldn't sell you the car because the vehicle you were attempting to trade in was also titled to someone else. Unfortunately allowing you to trade or sign off on the trade of a vehicle that isn't titled to you is against the law. Our understanding was that you were going to get the owner of the trade and your uncle here to process the transaction.

Was told upon arriving that my truck was just sold as she presented a maroon colored truck to me. Mine was supposed to be black. Zero morals, zero ethics. Don’t waste time here. I'm not gonna give them any
stars, was looking at a truck and
emailing the Internet manager for
approximately a week back-and-
forth , wasn't sure I was going to
buy the truck but hadn't even
driven it or seen it in person. The
truck was an hour and 15 minutes
away from where I lived so after
wavering a few times I decided to
come down and at least look at it
and test drive it on a Saturday all
the time in contact with someone
in their Internet sales department.
Never once did they say it was
sold," it sold on Friday"all I kept
hearing on the email was we want
to earn your business needless to
say when I got down there on a
Saturday around 11ish and
which I was supposed to meet a
salesman named Gary, which I
meant within a few minutes of
getting there he comes up to me
shakes my hand and says I'm
busy doing something else right
now I'll have to let drew take care
of you. It was all really shady. So
Drew is thrown into a situation he
knows nothing about me,doesn't
know about me doesn't know
about the truck finds out it's old
and has to tell me instead of
somebody else that was
involved.All really terrible
business and shady. One reason I
hate dealing with dealerships and
sales in general, most are sneaky
and under handed. All of this
could have been avoided by a
simple email to me telling me the
truck was sold. I know it's not like
most people have a computer on
them at all times ohh wait yea
most people do, it's called a
smart phone and wow you can
get emails on it at anytime.
There rating is great on here so
I'm not sure what happened but
I'll make sure I tell as many
people my story as possible

Very good staff, outstanding price on the 2011 Challenger I purchased. What more can a person ask for. Normally I HATE buying a car, the experience of buying a car in Springfield IL was painful to say the least lol. When I replace my 07 Ranger I will return to Jack Schmitt Ford Lincoln, Going to Landmark Ford will not even cross my mind.

I worked with Michael Stone. He showed us several options. The
vehicle was not what we were looking for. I would have rated excellent
but we really did not work with the dealership long enough to know.
Good experience I would def. return to look at another vehicle.
