Had multiple text back and forth about coming to see a specific truck listed on their site. Set up a day and time but truck was unable to be driven due to transmission shot. We drove over an hour to come for nothing. Test drive another truck that barely made it back to the lot

Pleasent people to work with however I've not heard anything since I sent a cashiers check on
January 28th. Should have received by now . The check notification has been resolved well. How ever my big burr in the saddle is that they were not very forthright about the
rust factor (SEVERE RUST). Amazing how none of the pictures showed anything about the rust. If I would have known the rust was that bad I would not have purchased this
vehice from them. (Maybe another one). Their unwillingness to buy it back or replace it with a different vehicle is their policy. Even tho they do advertise a 2010 Ranger XLT
with a few more miles and basically the same features except for the topper .So after this experience.and a lot of thought I cannot give more than a 2 star rating..

Truck was sold but seem like good people to deal with

I bought the truck and within 30 miles of driving the engine light came on then the oil light and i had to put $2000 of parts into it and they told me they can’t do anything about it.

Good communication, accurate vehicle description, fair pricing. The engine miss they told me about turned out to be an internal failure resulting in the truck needing a new engine. I contacted them about maybe not making as much profit on this sale and doing the right thing. I was told that wasn't possible. Guess there are ethical dealers, and then there is Home Town Auto. They did nothing legally wrong and did nothing morally correct. Warning to potential buyers, please know what you are buying and be prepared for possible surprises. I found out the hard way.

Rich called me on my interest in the truck they had for sale. he had told me it sold, but wanted me to look on website
to see if there was something else i may like. went and met them in person. Seem to be good people and I will be in
contact with them when they get more trucks in.
Feel like they did not state the issues the truck did have but seemed willing to work on the price after seeing the truck. Ended up going with a different truck and absolutely love it and I’m the price was lower so no complaints form me if in the market would consider them again in the Future

You had an issue with it because the vehicle was sold at an auto auction. In response, we suggested you shop at a certified brand name dealership for a new trade in, which is what you described you wanted.
