When I got there there was a dent in the truck that was not seen on video. They fixed that while there. It took a long time and wanted me to leave with not enough gas to get home( I was 2 hrs from home) then I asked what the code was for the door lock and I was told to take it to a dealership to get it re programmed. On top of that, both key fobs were dead the next day after bringing home the truck. The salesman was nice but seemed as if he don’t know much about the truck. The finance guy was decent and got us out pretty quick.
They did a wonderful job telling me what I needed to hear to get me through the door, that part of their tactics were 5 . My situation was thouroghly explained to multiple members of the sales team in regards to a very high amount of negative equity on my trade in vehicle and ZERO down payment. I was given a very lowball offer off towards the trade and was told if I took the vehicle for appraisal at carmax, they'd honor the higher appraisal and help me into a new vehicle by rolling over the negative equity into the new loan. I did just that, went back with an appraisal from carmax for an additional 5k and was all but assured we would now be able to get the deal done. My credit was hit several times although i specifically asked them not to yo-yo shop my credit if the first 2 or 3 apps were denied.By the end of it, my super exuberant and kind sales guy had totally shifted tones and let me know there was nothing else they could do for me and to have a nice day. Disappointing experience

The whole team was great They are not giving me enough for a pristine trade low mileage and paid for. You think they would do a deal where they have no need to clear a title or even have to do a detail. We are just too far apart.

Jose was great
Extremely disappointed with the customer service. At
first all communication was great via email but then the
sales agent just stopped communicating and the next
thing I see is the vehicle was sold. No one even had the
courtesy to let me know the vehicle sold. I had to see it
through cargurus. I understand sales need to be done in
person but with myself feeling under the weather and
not wanting to play the dealership games thought I
would have been treated alot better. At the end the day
people just want to make money. Too bad customers
arenât that important.

I was called rude after I received poor service from the manager. The salesman tried to do his job but at the end of the day the manager really ruined the experience for me. Found a better deal at a different dealership.

I called they said the car was available I drove 60 Minutes to see it when I arrived they told me they sold it 2 hours ago . only 2sales people in the office it seems funny cuz the one sales person didn't have a clue about the car being sold or if it was even available. 3 days later car still on Cargurus. And they say its available.

No pressure to buy and the vehicle was as advertised. I received a fair amount for my trade in. They gave me a trailer hitch with wiring at no charge.

Would have bought it but was sold
before I could make a deal

looking for. They contacted me my
email. Then called. I was told car
was in stock. Spoke with a lady the
next day. Was fixing to drive from
Jacksonville to Orlando if they
could save it since about a 2 hour
drive. I got a call back about 15
minutes after speaking with her
telling me they sold the car.

Was not happy with them. I told them the price I was willing to pay and that I was not financing it. They said it was negotiable and to come in. I wasted an hour and half of my time because once I told them again that I was not financing it they didn't want to deal after that.

Price was significantly higher for same car we saw at another dealership . I ask for a price reduction but was told that they could only move a few hundred dollars. We purchased the other vehicle for more than $2000 less.

Dealer would not try to make a deal after they had used paint pen on he body of the vehicle and the vehicle pulled to the right after an alignment had been done.
Claimed they could take he vehicle to auction and make more than the sticker price asked.
Rear end collision on the vehicle so could possibly be frame damaged..

I contacted Peacock Ford about a used Fusion. They responded, and I drove the vehicle. I actually bought a higher grade used model from Peacock. The experience was very good; they were patient and gave me good information. I love my “new” car. Matthew
They ripped me off! They never told me about
$1000 of additional fees until after I submitted a
deposit and bought plane tickets.
Also they refused to replace the bald tires on the
car. Lastly, it broke down 5 hours after I bought it,
standing me over night in a random town North
of Tampa on my way to Houston.

I bought my vehicle here because it was the only one within 500 miles that
was red with a ceramic interior and no running boards. But there is no way I
would buy from Peacock again. Way too many reasons to list here. They said
they would cut the price by $600.00 if I did not leave and go to another
dealer. I took a photo of my sales proposal which did not mention anything
about "Dealer prep fee" of $600.00, but after I bought the truck I then
noticed it added in the price. But then I was pointing out different things to
fix, like the rear wiper that was rubbing on the paint, which they said was
normal. The so-called "dealer prep fee" was supposed to catch/fix those
things.

I will NOT go back to this dealer nor recommend this
dealer. They contacted me via email and spoke on the
phone about a car then after driving an hour and 45
minutes in traffic of max speed of 37mph they had sold
the car the previous day and had nothing to say upon
my arrival. worst experience ever.

Dealer was forthcoming about the condition of the car once on the phone. Internet ad should have been accurate and more comprehensive, but I understand the tactic.. at least on the phone they were immediately honest. Salesperson was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. I did not purchase the vehicle. But wouldn't hesitate to contact them again.

I called Don Reid Ford and asked about a specific car, which I found out that was on a sister lot i another town. After that, the sales person called me a couple of time and that was ok, but after that, I started getting a call over and over about follow up questions from Allison. After about 10 calls (robo calls I believe unless she said it the same way every time) I called and asked them to stop calling me. They did stop, but I believe they would still be calling if I had not called.

Terrible, they did respond, and discussed one price on the phone, and when I got there the price was thousands more. It was a typical used car salesman type of deal, the old bait an switch or something. Terrible, Terrible. I walked out of the dealership feeling very frustrated and irritated. Needless to say I did not buy a car there!. I would never go back or recommend them.
