Hertz Car Sales Lynn

I called to this dealership 2 weeks in advance and I was informed that the car was going through service and was unavailable. I left my phone number with 2 different people to call me back as soon as the car becomes available. When I called again a week later, I was informed that the car was sold but they had one “Just way more expensive”. Horrible experience

Not prepared for our schedules visit. Didn't have the vans on the lot. The one they could find smelled like smoke and had a dead battery. They didn't seem very competent in what they were doing.

Experience was terrible. Was contacted twice, but got no where with the dealership. I spent nearly a week trying to schedule a test drive. Hertz Car Sale said they would provide local test drives for customers within 75miles of dealership. I live 60miles away and could not get them to respond to my requests to test-drive the CLA45 AMG Yellow Night they have for sale. They didn’t follow-up with phone calls nor emails. Don’t waste your time with this dealership.

On my first visit I was running late so I called to ask if I should reschedule and they asked what car I wanted to look at and said they would call right back, 25 minutes later they called back and asked what car it was again and said they would call back, they never did. I arrived and they were running around like crazy and told me to call tomorrow to reschedule after I had driven an hour to get there. I called on a Saturday and scheduled a Tuesday test drive for the car I wanted. On arriving from over an hour drive I was told the car was sold, I asked when and they said “well it was the last 2 days” a phone call could have saved me over a 2 hour round trip. They tried to show me a similar car and someone pointed out it too was sold and the third one was determined to be In the shop. They let me drive the sold car that was still on the lot. I would go back but chances are my car would be sold or they’ll have forgotten about me. I can only imagine the service after you buy.

I drove 2hrs to get to the dealership for them to tell me the car was sold, when they had my deposit. They could have let me know, not happy.

They answered all my questions I just have a screwed up schedule, and couldn’t set a timetable to go in and look at the vehicle. I do intend on going in .

The car price was published at 16312, after test drive found out that car was of OK quality, due to one year 45k, with hole in mud guard, damaged bumper, misaligned rear passenger power window. But later they wanted me to pay more that the published price. I had driven 1 hour to get to the dealer ship, and had confirmed multiple times about the price and vehicle. Waste of effort.

No deal upfront by refusing to talk thinking that I am may not a real buyer just come to waste his time. He just handed me a key told me to drive around a block and come sign the paperwork. What a dealer!

Was looking for a high top. Everyone was polite, ect. If they had a high top i would have been very interested.

The dealer responded to my phone calls right away. There was always some one in the office that could answer my questions. The sales person, Minerva Rosario listened to my needs and showed me cars that met my needs. I end up buying a 2016 Nissan Rogue S. The car buying process was very easy and fast. I didn't feel any pressure from the sellers person, Maria. All their prices are below the fair market value. I recommend buying a car from this dealer.

Waste of time. Drive a hour and half with a appt. to see a car that I was told was available. To get there and it isn't. No phone call or any form of communication was attempted before having me come all the way there. I was then offered a car with triple the mileage (really?) I will say they did offer to fill my gas tank for my travels(but I already mad that stop) plus I did not come all the way there for free gas. I came to see a car that was available that I made a appt for.

Had a pleasant experience. Wasn't a lot of negotiation. Car was priced fairly. Only thing they recommended was a security system for the car.

Contacted & visited dealer. Car was as represented so I bought it. Dealer easy to deal with.

I drove into the lot was pointed to two different 4runners handed some keys and told to check them out which I did. But my sales person was busy with work. Unfortunately we didn't come to an agreement. The vehicle needed tires and other things and not much wiggle room on the price.

If you're going to be buying a car, check these wonderful people out. The level of honesty and integrity are unmatched in my opinion and I spent more time than I care to admit trying to find the right car. Ultimately I didn't buy a vehicle from them ONLY because they didn't have what I wanted in their stock. James and Joe in particular are consummate professionals and very fair and accommodating. I can't praise them enough. Buying a car is a difficult task and they try their hardest to make it as enjoyable as it can be. FYI, my mechanic was impressed too, both with the price and condition of a vehicle I considered. I'm truly sorry I didn't find a vehicle to buy from them. I will buy from them in the future. Make them your first stop or your last stop but do yourself a favor and have a look at their great selection of vehicles, buy from them if you can. James, Joe and Yan, they are honorable, decent, accommodating and truly nice people.

James was the one who helped me and he is the best! Not only is friendly and welcoming but he really do care about his customers. He will do anything he can to help out his customers in all ways possible. I will definitely recommend other people to Hertz Car Sales in Lynn and have them ask for James!
