Told me I was approved for financing and gave me monthly payment and APR, no down payment. Told come sign and drive. Drove 90 minutes from home and they told me the lady lied and I would need more money down or a co-signer. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Waste of time and money. Then the salesperson laughed when telling these things and stating “get your money up”. Horrible horrible experience. NEVER RECOMMEND
I initially inquired for info on a car. What followed was repeated emails, phone calls and text messages telling me I was pre-approved and scheduled for appointments that I did not make. Then I received a call from A salesman who was extremely rude. He was so rude, I was tempted to drive to the dealership. I would never buy from this dealer. They act more like a collection agency than a dealer.
I had a very disappointing experience with this dealership, mainly due to poor communication and lack of follow-through.
I was going back and forth with Trevor for 3–4 days regarding a vehicle. On the final day, I visited in the morning and was told I would receive a call back by 11 AM with further information, as the vehicle was in their garage getting a sensor replaced. Initially, the vehicle was posted for sale, and only afterward was I informed it had issues and was not ready to be sold, which raised concerns for me. Unfortunately, that promised call never came.
I followed up myself at 2 PM, and the call was disconnected. When I called again, I was told Trevor was with a guest and would return my call shortly. Later that evening around 6:45 PM, I called once more just to confirm an update, and the phone was hung up.
I understand dealerships get busy, but basic communication and professionalism should never fall through the cracks. A simple update would have been fine
Stay away!! Run in the opposite direction. Save yourself headaches.
I Worked with a sales guy on this. He ran my credit and Everything. Told him I was coming from Ohio. Deal was done until he calls me that they sold the car to someone else that paid them more. Very unethical. Liars. And play a lot of games.

Overall good experience. I came in from out of town to buy the car, and it's great. However, there were a few little dents that I wish they had been more open about as I did not want any surprises. Overall, no issues.
The sales agent that contacted me was very helpful and went above and beyond to try and secure a deal on the audi and a couple other vehicles after the price of the audi was raised. My only issue is that sales person kept running my credit for each vehicle I inquired about without telling me that would happen, which significantly lowered my score(Not Cool). Other than that the experience was great. You guys should inform people that you'll have to run their credit several times in order to inquire about multiple vehicles, which I'm sure most would decline.

The salesman was helpful in the transition of the vehicle in question. Both Liz and Danny were very
professional and did all they could in working together in getting all the information needed by my Credit Union.
He explained the additional coverage and how it works and the cost. I have never purchased a vehicle from
another state, and they are making this a smother transaction. My overall evaluation will be a five-star rating
after I receive the vehicle.

Tried to get me to buy something else I knew nothing about the car brand. I asked for an Audi they had and he just denied me and didn’t want to help me out even though they didn’t have what I wanted, one of the guys that helped me out was very rude and talked down to me as if I didn’t know anything I was doing because I’m young, he said he didn’t want my business because he’s not sure I can handle a payment on the Audi. I felt he didn’t treat me as another adult and treated me like I’m a child. I was able to get a car elsewhere with great experience. I was determined to work with them but they didn’t take me seriously. Very shady place and very shady how they handle business.

Worst dealer experience - ever. Had to call to get service (no response to emails), then had a rude representative tell me they don’t sell online at all. Horrible dealer.
Drove over an hour to see a Volvo XC90. They knew I was a coming, but
when I got there, a) the car was filthy, even though the dealership is literally
next door to a car wash, b) the car dashboard said the airbags weren’t
working and the car needed to be driven directly to a service center, c) the air
conditioning didn’t work, and d) a vent was half-falling out of the dashboard.
Nothing but excuses about the condition of the car, but then had the nerve to
ask me to come back and buy it after I left. I think two stars is being
generous!!
Fell in love with the car when I saw it!! Contacted them and John B responded. He was such a big help from start to finish. Handled everything over the phone because I'm 14 hours away in another state. He sent pictures and videos. Less than a week later I received my dream car via transport. Definitely my go to for top notch service and vehicles. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!!!

I've bought many cars and trucks over the years, and dealing with Gravity was seamless, and pleasurable.
had to go there twice. waited once for 30-35 minutes and the agent kept on saying he is getting the car, its being serviced. Went with an appointment again and they said the same but showed us the car. Car wasn’t even clean then. Looked like it wasn’t even touched do mot sure wjat was the “serviced” part they said the first time. Overall, we didn’t move forward.

The whole experience was confusing and irritating. I started with one salesman and when I called, a 2nd sales guy answered and wouldn't let me talk to the 1st guy, then i received an email from yet a 3rd. I texted and emailed that I wanted to buy the truck, no response, I texted again and the reply was confusing like they never talked to me before. They sold the truck right after I said I would buy it.

Knowledge is golden before going to any dealer in all, they do not allow you to self register. Unorganized, unprofessional experience but at the end of the day i had control backing out of a deal. BBB.com shows a C grade for this company so that sums up my experience. Retail started at 20k and then 27k then 24k going over purchase order. It was a mess.

The purchase went well. The purchase is out of state and I expect to have the car delivered next week. I haven't physically seen the car in person but was provided pictures and videos. Awesome service, I received phone calls and text messages to inform me with everything that needed to be done and what has been done. Lots of pictures of the vehicle. They were great.
The car showed up with a big scratch and several dings!!!!! No driver floor mat, the screen started malfunctioning and every single rim is scratched!!! They called me back yesterday after I sent pics to tell me that the owner would call me back. He never did. I tried calling today and no answer!!!

When I arrived at the dealer everyone was kind and professional, the condition of the car ( all the wheels were in terrible shape, and the two back doors on each side of the car had dime size round nicks through the paint. They told me these things will be fixed by then. I test drove the vehicle and it was great. A car only 2 1/2 years old should have not been shown in this condition. They didn't try to hide anything and even showed me the shop sheet ( what was done to the car when they received it ) . I told them to call me when the car was repaired and I would return to look at it again. Two weeks went by and they never called me, so I called them back and I was told that their dealership and several others in the area were hit with a hail storm and they were waiting for the insurance company for their check. Hundreds of cars were damaged. So, I hope they will call me back after the vehicle is repaired so I can come back and look at it again.

Ended up making a purchase and they knew what to do but I was new to online purchases with the car from another state. Car came with transfer registration but not for my state good for 90 days. Thought all was good and was driving it for 3 days when dealer ask for insurance card for that vehicle not the one I sent them for my information about my insurance company. All is figured out now and the car is great just glad I didn't get into a accident those first 3 days.

Sales rep was not at all interested in knowing that the the EXACT
same BMW (same color, engine, model # etc) was selling nearby in
Cincinnati Ohio for $5,000 less...and it had 12,000 less miles on it. I
asked for some explanation as to the wide margin - got ZERO
explanation. Later I noticed they dropped their on-line price by about
$450...Big WHOOP !!

dealer wasn’t trying to literally sell the car. i’m a little younger than most people buying cars and this dealer just didn’t talk he didn’t hype up the car and tell me all of its pros he just wasn’t trying to sell it he was just there. ALSO car wasn’t like the pictures at all a bunch of scratches and dents and paint marks. inside the car wasn’t clean and smelt like wet dog the car has sticky spots all over it.
I purchased this vehicle from out of state, and the process could not have been any smoother. I decided to fly in and drive the car home,
rather than opt for a delivery service. Carl was nice enough to arrange a ride for me from the airport, and I was in and out of the dealership in
less than an hour. The car was beautifully detailed and just as advertised. I am very happy with my experience at M and I Imports.

The car was not in the shape it showed on the pictures. It was missing part of the door handle, taillight was broken, and it smelled terrible. I wasted 3 hours of my time driving there. The dealer did a good job contacting me and setting up the appointment though.

I sent an email in regards to the 2013 Acura TL SH-AWD and they replied within the next
hour. They also sent two follow up notices giving me their sales managers contact info.
I did not buy the car as it was sold in the next two days. They have not sent continuous
notices, which is a good thing.

The car I was interested was bought by dealer at auction(it was a personal car not lease) and they did not provide reason for it to be sold at auction. Since I am not comfortable buying a car from auction, I disnot buy from them. But I like that they followed up and provided out of door price.

Horrific. test drove on Saturday afternoon. Put down a deposit, called on Monday morning and said I was comng back with 2 hours to buy the car. Took the morning off work, made arrangements to get to Highland park with cashiers check. Arrived spoke to the salesman who said car was getting prepared for me we are all good to go. Sent my ride back to the city. 15 mins later the salesman appears to advise me that the car had already been sold. Lessons. 1. Don't had over a deposit. 2. Don't take their word for anything. I pity those buying cars over the internet from these guys

However, like we were explaining to you when we were refunding your deposit, these things do happen and due to the nature of our business the availability of the vehicles is subject to change. If it happened a little different, the car would still be yours to purchase, unfortunately you returned after the car had already been sold. Please make sure your deposit refund went through, as we pride ourselves in making sure our deposits are 100% refundable for this very reason!!!
Deceitful people, I went to the dearship and test drove the
vehicle, found a bank WELLS FARGO that was more than
willing to finance me, only to go back to the dealership on
Monday 4-9-18 for them to tell me that they sold the
vehicle on Saturday. They didn't call to tell me or
anything. I drove for 1and a half hours to get to that
dealership. VERY UNPLEASANT and VERY FRUSTRATING
feeling.

We are sorry you feel like you were mistreated, however if you recall when you guys were here the first time i specifically told you about our deposit and hold policy for vehicles. I explained to you guys that without a deposit the car could be sold because we are an internet business and with our low prices people buy up our cars very quickly. Like i told you monday we do not want you to be frustrated and we are sorry you missed out on the vehicle but that is why we explained to you our deposit policy. Give me a call, im sure there is another car we can find for you!!!

They responded to me but I had already set another test drive
2015 did not start, even though I said I was coming to look at it. A super
short test drive ended with the vehicle not starting again. They later called
and said it was fixed, and maybe it was, but I'm not gonna be the one to find
out. You'd think they would have tried to start the car and detail it if someone
was coming to look at it.

Buying a car from M&I was quick and painless! I love my Explorer!
If I could give them a zero I would. The salesman Joel was very nice &
responsive on the phone; when I got there he wanted nothing to do with
me. Do not go there unless you have the North Shore look & are dressed
to the nines, don't expect to discuss price or condition of the car, no
negotiation on price, everything is their way or the highway. Their way is
excessively overpriced (even by Kelly Blue Book standards) with hidden
consequences that will cost you down the line in car repairs. It was a hot
car; I couldn't dial the phone fast enough to get one before it was sold
other places, yet this one had been on their lot for 14 days when I went to
see it. It was way overpriced @ $8200, but I thought I would look. I was
dressed to drive & inspect a used car, not go to a fashion show. He gave
me the keys to the car, told me exactly were to go for the test drive telling
me to make a LEGAL u-turn (as if I would do something else?) & when I
returned, no one came out to help me inspect the car, (it was a cold, rainy
day & I'm handicapped, with a cane) or see if I had any questions. I
crawled all over the car, checked the engine (battery compartment clasps
were broken, battery was old, tires were worn) & would have gone under it
except for the weather. I went in but another couple walked in past me &
went in to his office to start talking to him. When I asked for help from
another sales person he came running out saying "we have a hands off
approach" to selling cars, I need to just wait. Has anyone ever heard of a
used car salesman having a "hands-off approach" to selling cars? I call it "I
didn't look, nor was I dressed North Shore elite" reproach; he either 1)
didn't think I had the credit or money (actually I was going to pay cash for
the car) or, 2) he just didn't want to deal with someone who didn't look the
part of the North Shore beautiful people. The car was overpriced, had
issues, he rudely refused to negotiate, he would not transfer plates
(something dealers have to do if the client has time left on their current
plates, he was just too lazy). He even wrote out the deal on paper for me
and put a smiley face at the bottom! Like that would seal the deal; I wish I
had taken it with me. It was so sickening it was priceless. All I could think
of was the pictures we used to hold up of Nixon with the caption "Tricky
Dick - Would You Buy A Used Car From This Man?".
vehicle is still for sale on cargurus but they sold
it long time ago apparently so I don't under stand
why they keep the post..?? just so you go in there
website and look at the other vehicles they
have...

Alex, our website is auto updated every two hours, the only cars that are online that are "sold" would be ones that there is a pending deal on them. If the deal doesnt go through the car is taken away from pending status and remains online. There are absoulty zero cars on our website that are sold. Positives: Love the car. Very responsive via email. Courtesy pick up ftom train station via cab. Building was clean and attractive.
Negatives: financing process took too long. didn't get to speak to the financial manager before papers were drawn up. Refuse to accept a personal check even though they knew we were going to put more money down did not inform us of that ahead of time. Lot needed upgrading, was rough and crowded. We now have the task of refinancing due to the miscommunication. Refused to fill the gas tank, saying it was half full.

It wasn’t all that pleasant to begin with . The person who answered the phone seemed rushed and quickly asked “do you want to come and see it?” Then before I answered he said let me call you back. When he called back he did seem calmer and scheduled a time with me to see the vehicle, however I changed my mind because I decided to only buy from a dealer with L certification.

The team at M&I have been very clear and communicate well to ensure a
good car buying experience. Julian and Joel both contacted me to make
sure all my questions were answered quickly and even thought ahead to
ensure I didn't make a trip over (even though it was <10 miles) that was
unnecessary. Unfortunately, the car was held with money down before I
made the trip over, but the M&I folks let me know before I went and I'm
glad they are open. I will definitely keep in contact with them as I continue
my search in case they get another vehicle that meets my needs.

We test drove this 911 which had an after market
turbo. The car broke down on us during the test
drive. We had to wait for a tow truck and then the
dealer tried to bully us and say my husband did
something wrong. We have owned Porsche
before and if the car cannot handle a test drive
why would we buy it? The sales lady told use
'drive it like you stole it' and we did. So glad we
avoided this nightmare car as I'm pretty sure the
turbo was fried. We will not be back to this
dealer after how they treated us. Trying to say
our insurance would have to cover the issue with
the car. That never happens. The dealer has
insurance and there was no reason to bully us or
say we did something wrong when racing around
in a Porsche is standard before a purchase.

As we explained to the customer multiple times, unfortunately her husband OVER-REVVED the car causing the engine to basically explode. When we asked the customer what had happened he said "i drove it like i stole it". The only way we even found out what happened was neighboring business' had to call us to tell us that our car was driving over 100mph.

These guys were fine so long as I was doing all the work and follow up, but when I asked them to buff out a bunch of scratches and basically clean the car up for delivery, they fell flat. In short, they made simple promises they wouldn't keep, so I totally lost faith and trust in them. Too bad since I showed up expecting to see and buy my beautiful new car, and all they showed me was the same messed up vehicle I left there 5 days earlier. I left and never went back, and unfortunately never will.

Very nice people, no so buttoned up when it came to delivery but
they did make an effort to do some detail bits for me.
The car had a few nics on it that you wouldn't really expect for
$36000 of car, I suppose it was reflected in the price but my theory
is why not do the work as so easy and then charge an extra $1000

The sales person Craig was rude. During our conversation, he talked down
on us. I told him that I liked the car and I would buy it. When I asked genuine
questions about the car's history and inspections done, he was visibly
irritated. On my test drive day, he just closed a BMW sale and bragged about
that. I am not sure why had to tell me that, May be he wanted to show me
what a big shot he is and I should not bother him with my questions. If he
had no intentions to sell the car, he should have conveyed that in the emails.
He should know that people will ask questions before signing a 23K$ check.

The unprofessionalism was so breathe taking. The sales advisor I communicated with during my interest of the vehicle was rude, unreliable, and would not take my very reasonable offer seriously. The process of getting qoutes and negotiating prices was the worst experience I have had. This vehicle could have been off the lot 3 months ago, but instead lost the business of me and of the fellow acquaintances I have expressed my dissatisfaction with.

M & I motors was wonderful. My salesman Joel was courteous, honest and just a nice guy to work with. There was a service issue with my car a few days after I purchased it and although it wasn't under warranty M & I took care of the charge even though I took it to a dealer that was closer to home. Wow, pictures are decieving. 2011 bmw
and all the knobs and buttons were
worn off to the white plastic underneath.
Cigarette burns in headliner. All door
handles scratched badly. Had a guy pull
it up and take out a funnel and a 5
gallon bucket of gas and dump some in
it (highly doubt it was premium ). They
made it look extra nice in pics. Test
drove off lot and it started shaking bad
and engine light came on. Immediately
did a u turn, wasn't sure if I'd make it
back. Didn't even talk to the guy, just put
keys on counter and told him they really
need to have that car looked at.

Bait and switch dealer. Let me take a
test drive on a vehicle that shook at
50mph uncontrollably. Told them about
it and all I got back was "its priced to
move and there is nothing else to talk
about!". Very unprofessional and I used
to sell cars myself. Beware... that's why
the warrantee is only for 4 months or 4
thousand miles. They put a bandaid on
it to sell it and then its your problem. If
they would have offered to fix it or lower
the price maybe I would have done the
deal and taken the loss a fixed it myself.

I'm out of town and was looking to travel so never personally met anyone but the dealer appeared to try to get me to buy the car but really didn't have to work hard to get me approved because I already had good credit. However, I noticed on their website they had the exact same car with 1,000 miles more and had recently sold it for $5,000 cheaper. When asked about it the dealer only dropped the price $1,000. Alot of inconsistency with their sales. But overall the dealer did what every dealer should do, try to get you to buy the car by any means necessary.
