First of all, I will say that my salesman, Josh was great. But I waited entirely too long to see the finance manager. Once I was finally called in to see the finance manager, my paperwork still wasn’t ready. I had to wait even longer. After the signing of the paperwork he informed me that he’d email my copies the next day. I was sort of baffled because I’d never left a dealership and was forced to WAIT for my paperwork. The next day came and no email, thus, no copies of my paperwork. I called the finance manager and even text him. No answers and no replies. I finally called my salesman who informed me the finance manager had quit and they weren’t able to email me a copy due to a system change after being bought by Gilchrist. I was informed that once the paperwork leaves accounting I’d finally get it emailed to me. Here it is exactly 15 days later, still no paperwork. As a former car salesman and buyer of several vehicles, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever endured.

I would like to say that. Specially the dealership manager is very disrespectful person. The way he act was like a street guy not a professional employee. I have no complain from the sales person. I could say that the sales person got more experience and respect to the customer than manager. I hope that dealership management will take action against those whom are not worth it to be in such positions.

The salesman was very helpful and I have no complaints about him. The finance department, when I decided to buy the car, promised on beating an interest rate that I brought to the table then just tried to leave out all details about the purchase besides my monthly payment. When I finally got details from them their interest rate offer was 4% higher than mine and they threw in a $6000 extend warranty that was not worth it. In the end I didn’t appreciate dealing with that type of finance back door shady sales and I walked away from the deal. 2 stars for a solid salesman, -3 stars for non transparent sales process.

Salesman was a joke. Secretary tried to help me more than he did. Instead of telling me what rates where (after asking salesman multiple times) was told to do the credit check which end up being a hard hit on my credit for something I wasn’t going to buy without looking more into it. If someone is from out of state they deserve to be treated the same as local. 5 out of 6 dealerships responded within 15 minutes of email (with itemized quote for X vehicle with approx. rates, WITHOUT a credit hit). If anyone out of state intends on buying here. Would advise going elsewhere and saving your time and energy.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION! Where to start....First, the associates, took 2 days to get
back to me. Then I asked questions and I was ghosted. Finally called to get info, since I
really wanted the car. The add was for a 2020, the car fax was for a 2014, the photos
were for a 2018. (And they used the same photos for all three cars!)

terrible, trying to sell a car with a moderate accident and sales person (stephen) was rude and unwilling to provide a accident report which he said he had. Sales Manager very defensive and not willing to hear out the issue. Would not do business with them

They sold the truck 2 days before I contacted them and they told me that the truck was still available. I drove all the way to Gilman Chevrolet in South Houston to buy the truck and it was already sold.

Dealer contacted me several times but this price was too high for me.

I was helped out by Heidi who was very helpful. She did get me a good deal but the
sales manager wanted me to make the decision right there and then, I didn't feel
comfortable deciding in that moment so I thanked Heidi and went to grab a coffee
nearby. Heidi let me know I forgot my ID there, I went back about 1 hour and a half later
and I decided to close the deal, but the manager decided it was too late and raised the
price again. Obviously, I didn't buy the truck and to be honest I have never experienced
something similar, very unprofessional. This manager's ego was more important than
selling the truck. Terrible experience.

They were quick to respond to my request for information. I even had several different sales reps text me. I set up an appointment to come see the vehicle and even called right before my appointment to verify the vehicle was still there. After driving all the way out to the dealership, they said they sold it earlier in the morning. All those sales reps and no calls to update me and there was even bad information given to me. This is either horrible communication on the dealership or snakelike tactics to lie and get people into the dealership.

worse dealer, i called 3 times and ask to speak to sales they never called back
The dealer never replied to any online inquiries. When I called, the individuals I spoke to were helpful working with my situation. However, when I asked about the vehicle, I was told it was unavailable and was offered a different one with 3000 more miles for the same price. Finally, when numbers were discussed, the final price included a “mandatory” $3000 protection plan. Helpful initial customer service, misleading pricing

This is a review of attempt to purchase the New 2018 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT Coupe.
I would like to praise friendly salesman. That was the best I can say about Classic Chevrolet of
Houston. Now, to the real thing. Price of the car is nowhere near the one advertised at CarGurus.
Let's see, CarGurus advertised price is $24,633, price sent to me by email $27,553 and finally
price at the dealership was over $31k. They did "dropped" the price to mid $29k and offer a TV
with it, to sweeten the deal.
This place is classic alright, classic "bait and switch". No wonder this car is at CarGurus for
almost 400 days. Definitely would not recommend Classic Chevrolet of Houston to anyone.

Salesman attempted to explain that the vehicle pulled to the right because
they're designed to do that so if you fall asleep at the wheel you don't go into
the guardrail...seriously (it needed an alignment or air in the tires). Also, if
you ask them to honor their internet advertised price, they force you to buy a
$2500 service plan that covers a bunch of useless stuff. Maybe this works on
their normal clientele, but I seriously cannot believe that this company pulls
this sales bologna. Straight out of the "used car sales" textbook.

I can't say enough. As an uneducated buyer, Craig and Vernon talked me through every step of the financing process and honestly expressed concern about any questions I had. These guys aren't looking for a paycheck. They want to make sure you get into a car you're happy with.
I called and made an appointment for a test drive on the vehicle I found on
this site. I called the dealership for 45 minutes from my bank's office trying
to get someone to answer the phone at the dealership so we could make
payment arrangements. No one answered so I just went on to the
dealership. The car I was interested in was being shown to another buyer
while I was ignored on the showroom floor. Eventually Elizabeth decided to
work with me. Did the test drive while the other guy was in the finance
office. The dealership adds over $3000 to the advertised price in the form
of unwanted accessories that they will fight tooth and nail to charge you
even if you do not want them. Once we finally agreed on terms and a price
I had to sit there for another 3 hours while they tried to contact my bank
after 8pm. Then they made it out to be my fault the bank was closed and
they could not get the confirmation they needed. I explained all they had to
do was answer the phone at 4 pm and this would have been prevented.
They extorted another $500 from me in order to take my car home that
night, since they had already returned my rental for me, I had no choice.
They also promised that the additional charge would not go through as
they would stop the charge in the morning, which they did not, and I have
yet to receive my refund. They made me come back in on Monday for final
delivery, where I waited for over an hour for someone to take me into the
finance office to sign the same papers I signed on Friday. Still no refund.
They also made a big production of delivering my car with a fresh car wash
during a thunderstorm. What a waste. They did not even give me my car
with a full tank of gas. I do not recommend this dealership. I would rate
them 0 stars if I could. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. they ruined my
new car buying experience, and they do not care.

Nice sales and fiance people. Car had rust problems that i wasn't made aware of until I looked at the when I got it home. Told about it the problem they said they knew about it but didn't tell me. I didn't buy it, went somewhere else

Watch out for this dealer. They post a car as available with a great price and then when you go in to test drive the car it is no longer there. So typical.... They will schedule an appointment with you confirming it just hours before the time and then when you arrive say "sorry it must have been sold yesterday". The car was actually sold almost two months ago!!! They then told me they would remove it immediately from their website. Guess what it's still there!!!!! How can you trust doing business with anybody like this. Stay away!!!!

I was interested in buying a VW and talked with the internet sales
manager and made an offer. He was quite rude and flippant in his
reply to my offer which was only $900 away from his offer. He
never made a counter offer which I would have more than like
would have accepted. Will not deal with them again.

Dealer did respond to my email inquirey, 1 week later. My husband and I took a trip over to the dealership. Manny , the salesman , was super nice and helped us with whatever we needed, ask for him. The truck needed a battery, Service got one. The truck needed an inspection sticker, I came back the following weekend, but honestly , I thought those things would have already been done. Finance went quickly, once paperwork was done. compared to other car buying experiences , I would give them a 5 for stressless. I got a fablous intrest rate, 2.19%.
