Best dealership experience ever, financing part was great but the only average part of my experience. Staff hands down best ever, warm, and every employee look like they were happy to be there. The only thing I don't like about the dealership is that it is not in my hometown, they know how to treat customers.
They were professional and up front with all information on my vehicle of interest . Very solid business sense . I like that when your spending major money .

Actually had to call them! See if you agree of assessment! When I talked to Internet Sales Mgr Mike
Weaver, he informed me that vehicle didn't pass inspection process! So! Why Advertise it before
your mechanic(s) inspect it? I mean; you buy at auctions; meaning there could be issues with them!
That can possible be repaired, depending on work needed, or you send them to other auctions or
sell to independent smaller dealers,(bottom feeders), as I call them! You don't advertise them
before,doing the aforementioned!!!

Don't bother to research cars at this dealership. Advertised price excludes in excess of $4000 of "lifetime" dealer services that are non-negotiable "add-ons" to the advertised price. Also, processing and paperwork fees are excessive. Essentially, once these fees are added back on, the advertised "dealer discount" is negated and you pay MSRP. Very disappointed with the approach of this dealer.

The people who I spoke with at this dealership were absolutely wonderful, especially Jason, who was my sales person and primary contact. However, they listed a truck at one price and then gave me a written quote $10,000 above the listed price. When I pointed this out and sent a screenshot of the listed price, they sent me an invoice that priced the truck somewhere between the price listed on CarGurus and the initial written quote. The same day they changed the advertised price of the truck on the CarGurus website to a higher price. The experience left me uncomfortable.
The poor sales guy was new. The sales manager was obviously taking advantage of that fact. The listed price on carguru was thousands of
dollars less than what they offered it to me for. They said the listed price included discounts like financing and trade in ect. ect. Which I
apparently didn't qualify for any said discounts. My price was $41k.
Very slow to respond to emails. Got no response from them after completing my finance application for a car. After e-mailing
them again 5 days later, was told they could not sell me the car because of Florida laws that conflict with California laws in
regard to vehicle registration and emissions testing. All the time communicating they never mention this until I wasted a credit
application. Suppose I'll stay away from this dealer and Florida dealers in general since I've never heard such non-sense
buying cars out-of-state from other states.

Brandon was a fantastic sales person .
Even though I did not purchase from them.
He did everything possible in trying.
Big new dealer with the nicest staff. It took me months looking for a Jeep and they had the perfect one I was looking for. The most
courteous staff of folks in a dealer. And I have visited many if the months leading up to my Jeep purchase here at Gettel in Punta Gorda.
Very organized place. And they made me feel special. My situation made it difficult, yet they worked hard to make sure I was happy and
helped me to get my deal go through. I couldn't happier with my new Jeep. Even my mother who came with spoke very well of them and
spoke more of them than my Jeep. I defiantly recommend this dealer.

I bought a fully loaded 2017 Terrain SLT1 V6 from Gettel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram , that I wouldn’t have been able to buy new.
They worked hard to get the deal I needed.
Good people. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

They are a RIP off. Added an additional close to $5,000.00 in fees from selling price. Will not negotiate. They said it was already priced under valued. BS.....

Very bad experience. They ended up wanting to charge $1,000s more than the advertised price. Said the additional $s were for " dealer installed options"

Unpleasant transaction. Promised $50 gift certificate to drive 1.5 hr one way to fill out paperwork. Bought vehicle, then found out there is no spare proximity key ($200+). $25 gift certificate (only) after many email, text attempts, thanks to Keri. I have told them to give it to GM as he must need it more than me. Coupon for $500 off price listed online not applicable if you get finance assist $1000. But that is already included in online price and you will pay $1000 more is paying cash or other financing. Very poor to no communication from Salesman or GM. Shades of stereotype used car salesmen.

Advertise price was $11900 when got to the dealshiper a guy greeted and took us to the car told me it was in a deal with another couple but I could still test drive , I ask if the current price was $11900 he said well technically no , He asked if I was trading or finaincing I said no to both then that’s when the price kept changing and there was no deal to be made , if the car wasn’t for sale as advertised for $11900 ..... I left within a few minutes, the whole situation seemed shady ..... angie

My experience was shady all around. The finance guy added warranties I never agreed to. When I tried calling the manager he never returned my call so I had to make another trip back to have the warrenties taken off. I will not be recommending this dealership.

This dealership appears to be advertising
lower vehicle prices on CarGurus, but their
vehicles are $2,000 more than the listed
price. You have to finance through them
and trade in a vehicle in order to get the
vehicle at the advertised price.

They contacted me while I was dealing on an identical truck at another dealer with almost half the mileage that theirs has and a better asking price. They wanted me to come in and talk. The other dealer gave me an offer that was hard to beat!! I gave them all the info from the other deal and still got the run around that they were working on it for me. Once again they wanted me to come in, I told them I didn't want to waist their time or mine. Either they couldn't beat the other deal or didn't want too, I'm going with the other dealer. From what I've read from other reviews this isn't anything new, shop around before you buy here, they are definitely Not the best deal around.

Mateen was my associate and was terrible. She didnt check the car I was asking about to make sure it was actually a touring after asking her to do so 3 times. She just insisted I drive an hour and a half to come see it. When I called the user car manager he said she just made a mistake no apology and said he'd have the internet manager call me. He never did. Very disappointed with dealership for wasting my time.was ready to buy cash pay!
Absulotly terrible These clowns absolutly refused to give me an out the
door price i emailed them a dozen times and they insisted i come into
the dealership so they could smooth talk me and attempt to persuade
me to spend more money on tire warrentes , gap insurance , extended
warrentees and other gimmicks. Read the bottom fine print the price
they advertise it is not the real price . The real price is at least $2000
more. I will never do business with these clowns again. And you will
never ever get there advertised price You will walk out being coned and
screwed out of money

I purchased a new 2018 jeep JL from Gettel Jeep.
I was very disappointed in the poor service
immediately following my purchase. The
salesperson, Barry did not return my calls or
emails. It took us forever to get the promised $25
gift card for test driving a jeep. John, Finance
Mgr. was high pressure to sell me an extended
warranty policy. He said I had 3 days to cancel if I
changed my mind. I called the next day and left
message to cancel. I continued to call for days
with no response. It finally did get canceled, but
was too late to be removed from my already
processed loan agreement with my bank. What a
mess !!!
I would never buy another vehicle from Gettel.

I was going to purchase the advertised vehicle from Gettel, however my husband purchased a new wrangler from a Jacksonville FL Jeep dealer. Thank you.
I received a generic email but nothing about the car of interest. Upon responding I was not interested in coming & talking but interested in info on that one car, I did not hear again. I find this w/ most dealers - that they want to get you in whether they really have that car or not. I live too far away from most of these dealers to "stop in".

This is a good dealership! Although I bought a different car somewhere else, my experience with the salespeople at Gettel was a good one. They had the car I was interested in looking at ready and waiting upon my arrival. My salesperson, Russ Uebelacker, was very attentive to us and worked hard on our behalf to give us a good deal. I highly reccomend Gettel Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Punta Gorda.

Found a suitable car thru CarGurus during the Christmas Break and contacted the dealer.
Late in the day and was not able to make the 1 hour journey and offered to place a Deposit to hold the Vehicle until the next day and willing to pay full price.
Salesperson guaranteed to keep the car until the next day. The car was sold within the same day and we were not informed that it was sold.
Would have done the journey in vein and even had difficulty getting a firm answer when we called the salesperson. Salesperson denied we even offered a deposit, denied we were told they would reserve the car and very rude when we enquired why they did not phone to inform us the car was Sold therefore the Sales people are liars and not ethical and not the type of dealership I wand to do business with.
We took the time to source a supposedly reputable dealer thru Cargurus and this was a fail.
Waste of time dealing with Gettel - rather spend time sourcing a reputable dealer

My salesman Red was very good and helped me find the right vehicle for
my needs.In a few hours I was driving home in my 2016 Ford Focus at an
affordable price. A nice car and the dealer people were very nice to deal
with.

I am very pleased with the purchase of the new vehicle. The salesman was
very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. I was very comfortable when I
left Gettel and knew I had made the right choice. Mr Wiley was very helpful
and showed me a lot of the features with the U Connect system and that sold
me even more. I would recommend anyone interest in a vehicle to go to
Gettel, as they will work with you to meet your needs, no pressure or upsells.

Salesman James was excellent. He has
followed through with everything we were
promised. Unfortunately, be careful when
you sit down with the finance manager,
John. We left with almost $5000.00 of
extras on a used vehicle like roadside
assistance, service agreement, $3000.00
warranty. He never went over any of this
and we were never even given any kind of
paperwork explaining what any of it was.
Partly our fault, but he completely
distracted us with talking about everything
but what we were signing. Didn't realize
until we got home and looked at the
contract did we realize what he had done!!
He kept saying that the company that
Gettel bought the dealer from in January
used to rip off the elderly! Lol I know that
was a lie as I had bought several vehicles
from the previous dealer and had nothing
but honest and excellent deals. I'm not
elderly and GETTEL RIPPED ME OFF!!
After going home and reading over the
contract, I immediately called him and left
a message. Of course, never got a call
back. I then called the sales manager,
Keith, and left him a message that I didn't
get a call back from John, and could he
call me. Still no call. I actually had to go
back to the dealer. I was able to get my
money back. BUYER BEWARE!! Make
them go over each item on contract line
by line (which is what an honest dealer
does) before leaving!!

them. Ran carfax on jeep. States all
okay. Last inspection approved by Palm
Auto. Set up appt to look & test drive.
Day of appt, get a call saying they
wouldnt sell me the vehicle based on
another look at it, but they have a 2004
in stock...I went into detail-I have a 2006,
want Liberty. Upgrade to 2007, all good.
But not to downgrade to 2004, for more
money!!!! I said no thank you. Get a call
saying after looking at 2004, they agree.
Its nit in good selling shape. Then tried
to get me into interview for a 2014 jeep
for 21,000 dollars. I only was interested
in the Jeep Liberty.

Didn't have the car I was looking for, but they were very
helpful.
I highly recommend Palm and Ryan Suta my salesman for
your next used car purchase! I purchased my car blindly
and essentially over the phone as I found a great used car
with low miles and all the bells and whistles on the internet.
The vehicle was already priced very well and was
advertised as "pre-inventory" pricing so they had not even
posted pictures of the car online yet.
This made Ryan's job more difficult as he had to explain the
vehicle's condition and options to me over the phone, email
and text. Ryan worked with me on all aspects throughout
the process. We were able to work everything out over the
phone as I had had to drive quite a long distance to Palm in
order to finalize the purchase. I was nervous that either the
vehicle would not be as described or that there would be
some last minute issue... everything wound up exceeding or
meeting my expectations.
Congrats to Ryan and the entire Palm Used Car Team for
being honest, ethical, fair and responsive! Save yourself a
lot of hassle and get a great deal from Ryan and Palm even
if that means having to drive a little further. It's worth it!
