Frontier Ford was almost instant in getting back to me regarding a truck I was interested in. I ended up buying a different truck from them and had a great experience. No pressure from sales staff because they are on salary. They let me drive 3 different trucks. I am very happy with Frontier Ford and would definitely buy another truck from them.

I tried to buy this truck. I received a phone call this week and was told it was stolen off the lot.
Is this true?????
I still am upset about this!
I’ve been looking since June. This was a clean unit.

We did not expect for the truck to get stolen. We never planned for any of this to happen, so yes it is 100% true. The good news is it did get recovered today and we will look at the truck when it gets here and access and damage done to the truck. We apologize if this made you upset.
Contacted about a car and when I told them how much I wanted for my trade they never responded. I understand if you don’t agree but I know it will be sold by a dealer for at least $5,000 more. You could at least follow up in Some regard

Frontier Ford did contact me and I did purchase the car from them. The sales team was
very good. Because I live 400 miles from the dealership they send me pictures and
videos of the car, and the car was in even better condition than I expected. However,
when I arrived at the dealership I had to wait almost 3 hours to meet with the Finance
guy. Not sure why because: 1) they were not busy; and 2) I was paying cash. Also, it's
been almost two weeks now and I'm still waiting for the paperwork to arrive in the mail so
I can register my new car in Oregon. I can't legally drive the car until I have this
paperwork. So although I'm very happy with the car and the sales team at Frontier, I am
disappointed with the overall experience. This would have been a five star review
otherwise.

Talked to the sales manager (Lance) About a used
vehicle they had and he told me there used
vehicles go through there mechanic shop make
sure everything is working,
I drove 4 hours to get there and test drive the
vehicle came to find out the a/c was not working
So I was so disappointed
Why would I pay close $20000 and still have tu
put more money into a vehicle just didn’t make
sense very bad experience at Frontier Ford
I drove over a hundred miles; 2 ferries; to look at a red corvette convertible which was a piece of junk but that wasn"t
disclosed to me. The salesman I had been working with wasn"t available, and all the sales people admitted so to
me. When the salesman showed up all he wanted to do was sell me a mustang as he to noted the car in question
was a junker. The corvette looked like a car that came from the auction
I would never deal with them again as they mis-represented the car in question.

Not good communication. After all the emailing back and forth found out the truck had already been sold. Ut couldn't tell me why the add was still up.
The advertised price is misrepresented. There are other charges the dealer "has to include" that aren't listed in the advertised price. There were additional charges for
"accessories" that were not included in the listed price. The dealer refused to remove the charge so the actual price was higher than advertised.

When I contacted them about this truck, I had a trade to talk about as well. I spoke with a salesperson named Josie who, after taking all my trade info, reviewing pictures via text, called me with the trade offer, the lowest end of KBB trade in. She tried to justify it to say my vehicle needed to be refurbished with such high miles, yet it has less miles than the truck I was looking at which was 5 years newer. I asked if there was any room to move on that as I was going to be driving 3 hours with my wife and kids and wanted to make sure they were willing to make the deal happen. She was very rude to me and said she would have her manager call and explain the pricing. A half hour later the manager called and was immediately a jerk. He was OK with her attitude, and said they price their vehicles aggressively, and that they are a destination dealer and people come from all over to buy vehicles. He also said "my pricing must be great if you're contacting me from 3 hours away."BAD DEALER!!

I've always known Josie to be kind and considerate so sorry if it didn't come across as such. We do usually price our vehicles very aggressively and find that people do travel because of it and that is what the manager was trying to purvey.

Dealership was good to work with, truck was a ford at a ford dealership and was missing oil fill cap and coolant was very low. Didn’t seem to go through much of a service inspection. Wouldn’t buy a vehicle from this dealership based on this truck.

Bait and switch. Arranged for insurance, shipping and financing, but only got the run around by salesman, Shay. I gave specific information to salesman and requested information. None of my questions were responded to for over a week. Found out that he did not ask anyone about my questions and when my request for detailed information on the purchase was finally provided it was not consistent with what was listed on Car Gurus. Additionally, he said that I had to get "deal" price only with financing from Ford. Don't waste your time trying to shop with this dealership.

Salesman that responded was very unprofessional, made me feel uncomfortable. He would answer a question ,and then change his answer .. always had other people interested in the Car, needed to hurry in so you won't lose the car. Very poor representation of a professional company. don't think I would trust them???

I asked for additional information on the J30 as it will be shipped to a
different state. So far, I have not received requested additional photos, or a
health report on the car. I received follow up calls from a staff member, but it
is only in reference to purchasing the car, not gaining additional information
on it. My 89 year old mother's J30 was totaled last week (she was the
passenger) and it was my hope to surprise her with the identical make and
model of hers following her hospital stay from the accident. We made a tiny
bit of progress with lowering the price by $300.00, but I am still in the dark
about the actual condition of the engine/transmission/ac/electrical. In light of
the events that this is going to an 89 year old woman, I believe the manager
and staff person I am working with could step up to the plate and make a
concerted effort to take the facts at hand into consideration. They employ
the usual bait and switch.

The vehicle was what we wanted and the sales process with the dealer went well. It took a lot longer to finish it, but maybe our expectation was not realistic. We had a good salesperson and were happy to make the purchase at Frontier Ford. We are very happy with our purchase.

Found this car on Car Guru. Called the dealer. JR answered all my questions during several phone calls. We drove 2 hours to see the car. As soon as I got in the car I New it was the one for us. JR and his team got us processed in no time so that we would not miss the ferry. Love the car. Drives beautifully and had the extras I wanted at a terrific price.

Failed to mention that vehicle had electrical issues and mirror of vehicle was partially melted. Tree the salesman was helful though.

Overall experience was a C minus. Car had a rear bald tire and a rear
almost bald tire. Cory, the sales manager agreed to replace one of the tires
if I would pay for the other tire. When questioning Cory, expressing that
the tires were not safe to drive he replied, I am not going to petty
dickering. The hood had a bulge at the passenger rear corner, did not fit
correctly and I asked them to adjust the hood. Again, Cory said they did
not have the money to take care of it. He did sell me a warranty and two
$600 add-ons, He also added the tire that I paid for at $300 to the price of
the car. I did like Mason, the greeter/sales rep. He was a fun and very
friendly young man. But Mason was relegated to showing us the two add-
ons and getting the car washed. The car came with two large water bottles
rattling around under each front seat. Found them after hearing clunking
noises on the way home from the dealer. Finally, the car came with only
one key fob. I asked Mason for the second one and he said he could not
find a second key in the key lock box. No effort to help us with a second
key order either. I will be writing the dealer manager to share my
experience too.

Be careful......Sales staff will spend 45
minutes to an hour trying to sell paint
protection, undercoating and thousand
dollar add-ons for mobile vehicle
security! Just cut to the chase.....and
sell me the car. They instead, sold the
car out from under us to someone else
while we were at the desk, agreeing on a
price.
Four-hours (round trip) on the road to
Frontier Ford in Anacortes.....wanted the
car (2016 Ford Taurus Limited AWD, with
9k miles) but went home empty-handed.
Bought another car, the next day 10
miles from our house (same exact make,
model and year, but less miles and less
$$)
They got back to me very quickly and answer all my question about this car.

They people were pleasant. The prices not so much. KBB stated that the car in question would sell for in the high 14's. They offered me 21500 for my 2017 Volvo. That is 2000 less than KBB states that it is worth. It doesn't seem fair to me. They do not like to negotiate.

This dealer had some useless "security system" preinstalled on the pre-
owned car I was shopping for. So they added additional 700$ on top of the
car listing price and you cannot avoid paying for it. Not a pleasant surprise
after driving for 2 hours. There is no information about it anywhere on their
website and the salesman did not mention it on the phone.
I assume they have this "security system" preinstalled on all cars because
their room is full of ads of this system. This is not a fair way of doing
business. Don't waste your time coming to this dealership, unless you
have an invoice with a final price.

Dealer reps response good, new truck inventory good. It was downhill from there:
Dealer 1st offer contained $5500 of items I didn't ask for, I didn't want, were never discussed. Told remove all of it. 2nd offer came back with "only" $695 of a monitoring system ("at cost"), I do not want and won't accept. Trade-in offer not ridiculously low, but low. We were a few thousand apart so not worth haggling at this time. I'll wait for model-year-end incentives to hopefully lower bottom line price. I rate them benefit of doubt 3 stars this time ONLY. If they or another dealer ever come back with additional cost items I did not approve or give 2nd offer with items I said to remove on the 1st offer, the rating will be poor.
