Terrible communication, I reached out with questions on this vehicle, I did not get a prompt response. I was asked a couple times if i could come in to test drive the vehicle, I told them J was out of state and would not drive that far until i had my questions answered. Once i got a response, I was told manager would contact me with details. I waited 3 days, no manager response, the. i got a notification through cargurus, not the dealership or manager that the vehicle had been sold.
Very unprofessional interactions with this dealership, I will not be using them.

My experience with this dealer was a
nightmare. Dishonest. Unprofessional.
Sneaky. Insulting. 0 stars if I could. From the
minute I walked in the door they bragged
about their transparency. Yet dishonest
about the condition of the vehicle that I
drove over an hour to pick up. Then on the
Inspection checklist I found a major repair
issue and when questioned the manager
lied about it, and then when I called him out
he said the box was inadvertently checked. I
was told the vehicle was in pristine
condition, however during my test drive the
a/c was blowing hot air. Tons of scratches
etc…. The manager asked what my problem
was after all I was buying a used car. He
accused me of being knit picky. Finance
Manager added a $2700 warranty to my
contract without even asking me and rushed
me through the entire process. I was without
vehicle for a week so a/c could be repaired.
Warning light on b4 I left parking lot to
which the will do nothing about.

While the dealership reached out very quickly to me after notifying them, the people didn't know anything about their
vehicles. I was looking at a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and they had a Touring listed. The 2018 model year only has
Touring Plus or Touring L as model options, so I contacted them to help me figure out which "Touring" it was. After
me explaining to them for 15 minutes the differences in trim upgrades, I had to tell them that they were, in fact, trying
to sell an LX instead of the higher Touring trims. After a week plus of me notifying them, the ad still lists the vehicle
as a "Touring."

We do take pride in making sure our descriptions are on point and part of that is pulling the original stickers from the manufacturer. In that particular sticker the vehicle is a Touring. We understand that sometimes trims can get complicated but we make sure that our cars are advertised with proper trim levels. We emailed you the monroney label from the manufacturer. We are very sorry that you had different expectations of the vehicle.
I scheduled A test drive. The sales associate hounded me for me to come in offer them to call me that morning to tell me that they sold the vehicle at 7:30 last night remind you I spoke to them The prior nights to let them know that I will be in...she failed to mention that there is a $500 holding fee which I had no problem with paying the communication skills here suck....

It was a gift for our grandson, so we really needed a good car at a good price.

I have had my fair share of horrible VW dealership purchasing and maintenance experiences but
not at Fox Valley Volkswagen St. Charles. It was a breath of fresh air. Everyone was polite and
attentive. My sales lead, Alondra Flores was patient and always willing to answer any questions
we had. We worked with Jimmy Arrichiello and he was very fair with my trade in value. The
dealership was clean and all employees followed the CDC guidelines in regards to COVID. The
entire process took less than 4 hours and they made sure we were happy with the vehicle and
financing. Great team out in St. Charles and I would recommend family and friends to shop there.
Bought a used car. Sales staff was friendly and dealership did a good job detailing the car but salesman was not up front with all the issues with the car even after specifically asking. The dealership had an opportunity to makes things right but declined to do so. It’s too bad, I still like the car but I would not buy a car from this dealership again.

Worst costumer service, made an appointment to see a car, been contacted 3 times to confirm the appointment, after an hour of driving the car was not there, not only they did not contact me to tell me the car was not there, they didn't care....really bad service
It took a almost a week for the dealer to respond to me. I had and interest in a car they had and
asked specifically about the Passat TDI resale policy since they are now just being resold. There
respond was the car has already sold (of course, it's been a week) and there was not an answer
to the policy questions which was the main reason for my inquiry.

We were never greeted once we pulled up and looked at the car outside. I went to another car dealership and was able to buy 2 cars with 15K in cash. My money was no good there. The dealership should never assume that a person does not have money.

The dealer was advertising a car with inaccurate information, through further investigation the vehicle does not have adaptive cruise control as they were advertising.

The car was on car gurus for over 3 months and the same day I test drive one of them both of them get sold and they had 3 different stories from when and how they were sold. They wouldn't hold either of the cars for me and they didn't care about my appointments. Never again will I go to this dealer.

dealer never wanted to to give me vw loyalty discount . The y never even wanted to talk to me.. i asked about financing they told me go to my credit union... overall terrible experience .Received a lot of phone calls to get me into showroom but treated bad when i came in
I did not purchase from Fox Valley, but did test drive a
GTI there. I felt the price was high for the mileage on the
vehicle. Shay, a manager gave me his bottom line and it
didn't work for me. We may not have agreed on the
price (I did find another that was less expensive, with
less miles and more upgrades) but I do appreciate his
getting to the point. We didn't have to go back and
forth.

Salesman was great but over promising, Manager was rude, GM
was understanding and realistic. I was going to by the car but too
many promises, carfax data was wrong and they wouldn't stand
behind there product.

Everyone was friendly and the dealership was nice, however, they gave no bargaining room on a car that had come in due to an accident and had a warning light on at the dealership. They also offered half of the trade in value that the car was worth.

Just felt pushed to the side..... when I was told to
meet a certain person at the dealership they push me
off on another person for the dealership when I try to
negotiate they told me they couldn't do anything
better.. then when I show them other car prices for a
newer vehicle they told me that those were untrue
and that they were false. I just bought a 2015 for the
price I showed them their loss

Sales experience was good. When I want to pick up the car (a certified vehicle). It was poorly prepared with no attempt at cleaning it up for delivery and the small attempt they did make ended up scratching the paint.
