They got back to
me right away but
the car was already
sold.
I live in Greensboro. I told the salesman that the vehicle wouldn’t need to be shipped that I would drive out there to see it in person and I would like to take delivery the day I arrived with the check from my bank. Your sales rep who I don’t really recall their name adamantly stated that they would hold my bank check for 8 days. I explained that I sold vehicles for 25 years on and off and that was an unusual practice. Again he stated that 8-10 was a standard practice at this dealership to which I said that I was no longer interested and would take my business elsewhere and hung up. You record your sales team’s phone calls as most dealerships do. You can check your sales team’s phone’s log. Unfortunately this has left a nasty taste in my mouth. I was very seriously interested in your Tesla model X. I will purchase one by the end of the week. Clarence

I like this dealer still have buying this z06 on my list but they keep going up and down on the price, greed is a major turn off to me.
With c19 the car market is even crazier so with over paying bc inflation and the greed on top im looking more toward evading these guys

They were fine, but the car sold.
I really enjoyed the professionalism and the transparency. All of my questions were addressed, I bought the car in 48 hours of me seeing it on line. There was a small problem with the wheel and Alex has agreed to send a check for $350.00 for the cost of repair (which I think is AWESOME)! Everyone likes the car. The car was well maintained. I felt comfortable in purchasing a quality car and I did. My mechanic inspected it out and could not find anything major that was of concern. I have informed others about my positive experience. They also filled up my tank with gas and accidentally left the card in the car. So when I found it yesterday, I immediately called and text them as I wanted to return it so everyone to receive the same stellar service that I did. Without reservation, I highly recommend anyone to conduct business with Alex and Formula Imports. They also delivered my car to my job. I work in WS, NC and the dealership is in CLT, NC. Excellent customer service.

I must say that I never had a better experience with buying a car than I did with formula one. First off Gabby was AMAZING! Gabby answered all my questions in a timely manner, she made sure there was a driver to pick me up from the airport, (can’t remember his name but he was great also) when I arrived they had my beautiful car sparkling in front of the door. The transaction was easy n smooth, very warm and friendly staff. Again I wanna thank Gabby and Formula One Imports for making my car buying experience one to remember!

little high, to many fees added to advertised price
which could be NC fees which we don’t have here in
SC.
Still looking as I’m in no hurry, no trade in and paying
cash for the vehicle.

I am writing this review to rectify a past review written last week. In the original review I stressed disappointment with the lack of communication with a salesman. The salesman has since sent called me and offered a heartfelt apology for his delay in communication. He also offered to compensate me for traveling to the dealership. I have dealt with many dealerships but never have I had someone take ownership and try to rectify their actions. This speaks volumes about the salesman, Jimmy Wilkins, and Formula One

Customer service in beginning was great. Due to personal reasons vehicle purchased from here was taken to be traded in elsewhere and when carfax was ran it showed 4 wrecks with structural damage. I pulled carfax they gave us on it and it was not the sane carfax. So the vehicle was sold to us under false documentation. When contacting them about trying to make this right they offered buying the vehicle back from us for less than others was going to give us trade in on it and they were not the ones who screwed us. Chris, We understand your frustration in this situation, every once in a while, car fax will have a delay in reporting damage, in this case we purchased this 4 Runner at the auction on October 31, 2017, 2 months later Carfax started reporting additional accident history that supposedly happened in 2016. Now since you have made the purchase in January, Carfax has started reporting more additional damage in 2016. Every car we sell has a free carfax report that comes with it, and we 100 % disclose all damages that we have knowledge of as well as what is on the carfax.

I received a call from the dealership the morning of December 6th, I
expressed my interest in purchasing the 2011 X6 M AWD. I forwarded all
the necessary documentation requested, and the deal was made. Service
was courteous, fast and the salesman was very knowledgeable. The deal
was made at 1PM, on December 6th. I live in Richmond Virginia and
wanted to take delivery of the vehicle on the 6th. Although the dealership
was scheduled to close at 07:00 PM, the were happy to stay until my flight
arrived at 7:14 PM. When I arrived at Formula One, all documentation was
ready for my signature, the vehicle had been cleaned and was immaculate
like new. It was well after closing time by the time I departed but the
salesman and manager was happy to accommodate all my questions and
made certain I was completely satisfied before departing on my trip back to
Richmond in my BMW X6 M.

I was recently in search for my dream car when I came across this white red interior Lexus is250. I submitted an email to have the dealer contact me. I was called by Tina the next morning and was greeted very well by her as soon as I arrived at the dealership. She was the only sales women at Formula One Imports. These guys went above and beyond my expectations. I was looking for a Jeep for my son, his first car, they were helpful, friendly, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I have nothing but the highest of praise for how these guys run their business. I gave them the contact information they requested, which was my email address in the initial contact, phone number was optional. I wanted a carfax on the vehicle because I saw it was involved in an accident. They made contact via email a couple of times but never gave me the information I requested nor did they refer to it. This an amended review. I purchased a 2006 Land Rover Range Rover
truck that was a consignment vehicle. I felt the vehicle was overpriced but I
purchased it anyway but the truck is beautiful and had very low miles
(59k). The next day, the check engine light came on. I called Pamela about
the P0128 check engine code (thermostat) and she never replied after
initially saying she would look into it. I received a call from Julian the
manager and he went above and beyond to correct and repair the
problem. I live 3 hours away and he sent a driver to me and gave me a
"loaner" car ( a newer Lexus RX350) while the driver brought back the
range to be repaired. Julian kept in constant communication with me and
made me feel better about the purchase. They brought the car back to me
repaired and washed. Formula One more than made up for the initial bad
experience. I would highly recommend this dealership, tons of integrity was
shown and I appreciated it!

I asked 3 times how much the car was and every time they kept trying to set me an appointment to come in, come in and test drive, come in and see the car, come in and speak to someone.
After my 4th time asking, no one ever replied.

Unfortunately there were things I found wrong
with the vehicle after I'd signed all documents.
The problems as of now consist of, radio
antenna missing, no key for the luggage rack,
12 volt outlet not working, and the push button
cover for the keyless ignition is missing. The
price for the vehicle was $1k more on the final
documents than the price we agreed on. I
bought the vehicle in the evening hours of 12-
14-15 after dark, and didn't see the antenna was
missing. I received a "congratulations" text from
my salesman, JG after I had gotten home
(1hour away). I responded by telling him what
I'd found wrong, he originally responded by
telling me I had the wrong person, and then in
the same text told me they would address the
issues today, 12-15-15 when I returned to pick
up the car I had left there. They DID NOT replace
the antenna nor the push start button. They told
me to have a locksmith cut a key for the
luggage rack myself. The manager told me over
and over that the light indicating low tire
pressure just wouldn't go off. He didn't want to
check the tires nor put air in them. It wasn't until
the general manager returned that air was put in
the tires. After signing documents, the manager
asked if he could do anything else for me, and
because historically when I've bought a car, the
dealership filled the car with fuel, I asked for a
full tank of fuel. They put .25 tank of fuel in the
car. The manager advised me he would give me
a $25 gas card if I would give them a good
rating. I will not be receiving any gas card
because I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND anyone
buy at FormulaOne Imports in Charlotte, NC. I'm
seriously considering utilizing the time the law
allows to return the vehicle and void all
contracts.

Our mark up on our inventory is below market average, this means that a lot of times in order to keep providing customers with the best deals we have to fix very minor things on a case by case basis. We always try to provide every customer with an exceptional level of customer service. Upon doing proper investigation into this situation it was brought to my attention that we actually redid your deal twice without any issues being brought up.
